Jockey Kiran Rai P was questioned in the presence of Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V.as to his riding ART OF ROMANCE in the above race.
The Jockey stated as follows:-
1). His riding instructions were to take a good jump and sit 3rd / 4th position and entering the straight ride out and do his best.
2) One of the horses on his outside TURKOMAN (Rushal G.A) came 'in' and caused interference and so he had to shout out not to come in and hence he could not brush up his mount to catch a foward positoin.
3) Thereafter, from being one off to the running rails, his mount suddenly shifter out under pressure to race in the centre of the race track. He tried correcting it by whipping on the left, but still his mount continued to drift out and finished the race on the middle of the grass track.
The Trainer, while corroborating the statements of the rider also added that the distance of this horse was better, 7 furlong and a mile. He had fancied the chances of his charge and expected to win the above race, but it drifted out and finished 2nd. The rider also added that his mount was coughing after the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have sustained gum injury & burst its blood vessels (Grade - III). Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V. was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. While noting their explanations for future references and taking the veterinary report into consideration, Jockey Kiran Rai P was given the benefit of a grave doubt. He was informed that a repetition of a similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.

Jockey Rayan Ahmed R., the rider of STAR COMET was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
It was reported after the race that REAL HAPPINESS (A.A. Vikrant) returned lame on right fore. Trainer Mr.S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club''s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
DR ASH (Rajesh Kumar M) walked out of the gates, thereby losing many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.G. Y. Rajesh Babu was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

It was observed that VAFADAR (Aditya Waydande) accidentally brushed the running rails rounding the final bend.

Trainer Mr Rajesh Narredu and Jockey Suraj Narredu was questioned regarding the running and riding of GLOBAL INFLUENCE in the above race.
The Jockey stated as follows:-
1) His mount running after 5 months break and came into the race without the benfit of run and taking this into consideration it ran a very good race and finished a good 2nd.
2) The winner had a benefit of the race run and hence ran a forward race, it went onto win the race.
The trainer corroborated the statements of of the jockey and added that the winner had won two races in Kolkata against lower quality horses. In his opinion, this horse does not belong to class 1 and despite being ridden out it was not showing any improvement any was running there and there only, in this set of higher-class horses. When the rider asked the horse for an effort, there was nothing left in it and just ran on to finish a good 2nd.

It was observed that POWER PILOT (Suhas. K) shied inwards towards the running rails, tripped on its hind legs, got totally unbalanced, dislodged the rider passing the 800 Metres and thereafter ran rider less. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
