        1st Race:     68. The Mahalakshmi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
         9 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
        THE BRAVEST (V. Patel) jumped awkwardly outwards from the  start-
        ing gates and inconvenienced AURIFEROUS (A. Ashhad Asbar). 
        
        AURIFEROUS (A. Ashhad Asbar) ran detached from the field.  Train-
        er  Mr.  Faraz Arshad was advised to ensure that his  charge  was 
        capable of running with the field in future. 
        
        CHAKORI  PRINCESS (Gajender Singh) ran detached from  the  field.  
        Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was advised to ensure that his charge was 
        capable of running with the field in future. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch  f  AL-
        LEYESONME.
        
        2nd Race:     69. The His Majesty Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
        11 Runners  Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have run at least thrice but not placed second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        The front shutters starting gates of draw 9 (SHE'S A DIAMOND) was 
        damaged  while loading due to fractious behaviour of  the  horse.  
        As  no  additional stall was available the  horse  was  withdrawn 
        before coming under Starter's orders.
        
        Jockey  Shobhan  Babu,  the rider of SOUTH  PARADISE,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for shifting `out' and inconveniencing CRACKERJACK (A. 
        Imran  Khan) on his outside soon after jumping out of the  start-
        ing.  
        
        Jockey  P.S.  Chouhan,  the  rider  of  BORN  BEAUTY,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly changing course causing interference to 
        LEO  DVIJ (K.P.G. Appu) on his inside approaching the 300  Metres 
        and again at 150 Metres. 
        
        IN  THE  ZONE (Mark Zahra) sustained a cut injury  on  left  hind 
        canon.
        
        3rd Race:     70. The Sir Charles Todhunter Memorial Cup - 
         7 Runners    (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
        
        Jockey Aaron Spiteri, the rider of CHERIKA, was fined  Rs.1,000/- 
        for changing course during the final stages of the race. 
        
        4th Race:     71. The Diablo Plate-Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres.
        12 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50,4 & 5 years old.
        
        Jockey  B.L. Paswan, the rider of SARAZEN, was  fined  Rs.2,000/- 
        for  coming  `in' and causing interference to MAC  (S.  Selvaraj) 
        which  in turn passed it on to SPREAD A SMILE (B. Sreekanth)  and  
        to  SIGURU  (J.E. Pereira) along the rails approaching  the  1100 
        Metres. 
        
        LONGITUDE  (M.F. Ali Khan) was examined after the race and  found 
        to  be trotting lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad  was 
        informed  that  he must produce a Fitness  Certificate  from  the 
        Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  ROYAL 
        HEIR. 
        
        5th Race:     72. The Sans Craints Stud Plate-(About)1200 Metres.
        10 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 90.
        
        Jockey Y.S.Srinath, the rider of THREE OF ARTS, reported that  he 
        lost his whip approaching the 150 Metres. 
        
        After  the  race  it was observed that  SHIKRA  (N.Sequeira)  had 
        apparently lost its right fore shoe during the race. 
        
        ROYAL  SCANDAL  (Shobhan Babu) sustained a cut  injury  on  right 
        hock. 
        
        PANCHAKSHARI (Md. Shafiq) sustained a cut injury on right hind. 
        
        Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dkb c THREE OF ARTS. 
        
        
        6th Race:     73. The Fillies Trial Stakes (Grade I) - (About) 
        13 Runners   1600 Metres. 3-year-old Indian Fillies (Foaled in
                      2004) (Terms).
        
        Trainer Mr. Ananta Vatsalya was fined a total sum of  Rs.20,000/- 
        for failing to declare his charges HEARTS CRY and HUNTING BAY  to 
        start for this race after having accepted with them to run. 
        
        Jockey  D.  Gnaneshwar,  the rider of  LUSH  FOLIAGE,  was  fined 
        Rs.5,000/-for coming `in' sharply and causing severe interference 
        to CLASSIC SKY (B.Prakash) which in turn passed it on to  LIVORNO 
        (M. Narredu) on his inside approaching the 1400 Metres. 
        
        CLASSIC  SKY  (B. Prakash) sustained a cut injury on  right  fore 
        fetlock and right hind pastern. 
        
        Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following  I, 
        II and III placed horses viz:

        7th Race:     74. The Galilee Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.
        12 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
        Jockey  Himanshu, the rider of CHAR CHAND, was  fined  Rs.1,000/- 
        for travelling wide throughout the race for no aparent reason. 
        
        Jockey Shadab Khan, the rider of FANAA, was fined Rs.2,000/-  for 
        coming  `in' and tightening GARA FLUID (Mohammed Shoaib)  on  his 
        inside approaching the 300 Metres. 
        
        CHAR CHAND (Himanshu) sustained a cut injury on right hock. 
        
        Jockey M. Narredu, the rider of EXCELLENT SPEED reported that the 
        right  rein  came out of the buckle and that he could  not  offer 
        sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter. On examination  of 
        the equipment immediately after the race it was observed to  have 
        been  otherwise well maintained and as such no action  was  taken 
        beyond noting the incident. 
        
        8th Race:     57. The Elusive Pimpernel Trophy-(About) 1400
        12 Runners   Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
                      second,  third  or  fourth  even  once  ineligible)
                      (Terms).
        
        Jockey  Harish,  the  rider  of PASSION  TO  PERFORM,  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for coming `in' and causing intrference to BLINK (Y.S. 
        Srinath)  on his inside approaching the 300 Metres and again  for 
        coming  `in' and causing interference to LORD OF  ILLUSION  (T.K. 
        Jackman) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres.He was  further 
        informed that repetition of similar manner of riding would entail 
        him  being reported to the Stewards for severe  disciplinary  ac-
        tion.
        
        Jockey  Harish,  the  rider  of  PASSION  TO  PERFORM  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (1st infringement). 
        
        ELUSIVE  MELODY (Suraj Narredu) was examined after the  race  and 
        found  to be trotting stiff on both fore and was observed  to  be 
        suffering  fron   sore  shins on right fore.  Trainer  Mr.  Arjun 
        Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness  Certifi-
        cate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with  it 
        again. 
        
        PASSION TO PERFORM (Harish) sustained a cut injury on right  hind 
        gaskin.
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f  PAS-
        SION TO PERFORM. 
        
        9th Race:     76. The Diablo Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres.  
        12 Runners    rated 20 to 50, 4 & 5 years old.
