        1st Race:     77. The Churchill Downs Plate-(About) 1400 Metres.
         9 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30, 4 and 5 years old. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f A RUN TO REMEMBER. 
        
        2nd Race:     78. The Sweet Memories Plate-(About) 1800 Metres.
        10 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Karan Singh was questioned  regarding 
                  the  poor performance of his charge PACIFIC  PRIDE.  He 
                  was  informed to ensure that his charge was capable  of 
                  better performance before running it again. 
        
                       BOLD REQUEST (C. Krishnan) sustained a cut  injury 
                  on right hind inner bulb of the heel. 
        
        3rd Race:     79. The Camineto Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.
        11 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have run at least thrice but  not placed second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh 
                  to withdraw TRACK WONDER on veterinary grounds. He  was 
                  informed  that  he must produce a  Fitness  Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
                       WHISPER VALLEY (Imran Chisty) took a fly jump from 
                  the starting gates. 
        
                       Jockey  M. Reuben, the rider of STANZA STARRY  was 
                  reprimanded  for coming `in' and inconveniencing  BRAVE 
                  ARJUN  (K.P.G.  Appu)  on his inside  passing  the  900 
                  Metres.
        
                       HUNTING  GIRL  (N. Rawal) ran  detached  from  the 
                  field. The horse was impounded for veterinary  examina-
                  tion  and the Club's Veterinary Officer  reported  that 
                  the  horse was lame on right hind.  Trainer Mr.  Ananta 
                  Vatsalya  was informed that he must produce  a  Fitness 
                  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before 
                  accepting with it again.  
        
                       Jockey  Vivek,  the rider of  ALYCIAA,  was  fined 
                  Rs.3,000/-  for coming `in'sharply and  causing  severe 
                  interference  to SILVER FOX (C. Alford) on  his  inside 
                  during the final stages of the race. 
        
        4th Race:     73. The Ramkirpal Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
        12 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       Jockey  Vivek, the rider of CINDY GIRL, was  fined 
                  Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and causing interference  to 
                  QUEENS  GLORY (Shakti Singh)  on his inside soon  after 
                  the start. 

                       Trainer Mr. L.V.R. Deshmukh was questioned regard-
                  ing  the  improved performance of his  charge  SPRUCES-
                  PRINGSTIEN (Vincent Colgan) as compared to its previous 
                  run  in  race No.18, The  Lady  Gibraltar  Plate-Div.I-
                  (About) 1400 Metres for horses rated 20 to 50 of Banga-
                  lore  Summer  Meeting  2007 when ridden  by  Jockey  M. 
                  Narredu  it ran unplaced.  The trainer stated that  (a) 
                  its  last  run  was the first run after  it  was  being 
                  gelded and  that it was the first run after coming from 
                  Hyderabad; (b) as he observed that the horse came  last 
                  over  1400 Metres where after being in the front  bunch 
                  till  the 400 Metres he gradually  dropped back and  he 
                  had removed blinkers and put cross nose band as per the 
                  advise of rider; (c) he had given sufficient gap  after 
                  its last run; and (d) with the benefit of run and  with 
                  the  change of equipment it improved over its last  run 
                  and won today.  His explanations were noted.
        
                       WORTH A DIAMOND (J.H.Christopher) sustained a  cut 
                  injury on right knee.
        
                       SUNNY'S  INSTINCT (V. Sunil Kumar)  sustained  cut 
                  injuries  on right hind fetlock and outer bulb  of  the 
                  heel. 
        
                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner gr g SPRUCESPRINGSTIEN.
        
        5th Race:     74. The Chief Justice's Cup-(Grade III) - (About) 
        12 Runners    1800 Metres. For Indian  Horses 4 & 5 years old 
                      (Terms). 
        
                       Trainer  Mr.  Vijay Singh was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the declaration of weight in respect 
                  of his charge APERITIVO.
        
                       Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was fined Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the declaration of weight in respect 
                  of his charge ARTURO.
        
                       Trainer  Mr.  P.  Shroff was  fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the declaration of weight in respect 
                  of his charge BRAVISSIMA.
        
                       FLASHING STAR (D. Patel) planted and lost  consid-
                  erable  ground at the start.  In view of its  behaviour 
                  trainer  Mr. G. Karthik was informed that he  must  not 
                  accept  with it again until its behaviour  improved  to 
                  the  satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
                  Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
                       Compulsory  Samples were taken for  analysis  from

        6th Race:    75.The B.K.Sreenivasan Memorial Plate-Div.I-(About)
        12 Runners     1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 4 and 5 years 
                      old.
        
                       Jockey T.K. Jackman, the rider of PRINCE OF  BYER-
                  LY,  was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and  causing 
                  interference  to ALGIERS (Shobhan Babu) on his  outside 
                  in the last 200 Metres. 

                       Jockey  D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of  MASTER  YODA, 
                  was  fined Rs.1,000/- for easing his mount in the  last 
                  200 Metres. 
        
                       Jockey  K.P.G.  Appu, the rider of  ROYAL  DAZZLE, 
                  reported  that his mount was hanging `out' in the  last 
                  400 Metres. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was advised to  get 
                  it checked by his veterinarian before accepting with it 
                  again. 
        
        7th Race:    76. The S.M.Ramakrishna Rao Memorial Cup - (About)
        12 Runners    1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above.
        
                       Jockey  Imran Chisty, the rider of FLAMING  GLORY, 
                  was  fined Rs.3,000/- for not being alert at the  start 
                  and  not making sufficient effort to improve its  posi-
                  tion during the early part of the race. 
        
                       RUNNING  THUNDER  (Mark  Zahra)  burst  its  blood 
                  vessels  during the race.  Trainer Mr.  S.  Padmanabhan 
                  was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
        8th Race:    77.The B.K.Sreenivasan Memorial Plate-Div.II-(About)
        12  Runners   1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 4 and  5  years 
                      old.
        
                       Jockey  Vincent  Colgan, the rider  of  PILLAR  OF 
                  GOLD,  was  reprimanded for dropping his  hands  before 
                  passing the winning post. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g NONAME.
