        1st Race:     85. The Commanche Cup-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.
        10 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined  Rs.5,000/- 
                  for  the  inordinate delay in arriving  to  saddle  and 
                  observe  the related paddock formalities in respect  of 
                  his charge DON'S DELIGHT .
        
                       Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.500/- for 
                  failing  to produce the declared colours at the  scales 
                  in  respect  of his charge DON'S  DELIGHT  (T.Vijayan).  
                  Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permit-
                  ted to be used. 
        
                       DON'S  DELIGHT (T. Vijayan) jumped  out  awkwardly 
                  and inconvenienced GIFT A DIAMOND (Aadesh Kumar) on the 
                  outside. 
        
                       Jockey  T.  Vijayan, the rider  of  DON'S  DELIGHT 
                  reported that his mount was inclined to hang out during 
                  the  race.    The horse was  impounded  for  veterinary 
                  examination  immediately  after the  race.  The  Club's 
                  Veterinary  Officer  reported that it was  observed  to 
                  have  sharp molars on either side of mandable,  maxilla 
                  and  caps.    Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was  informed 
                  to  take necessary remedial measures  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
                       BLUE  MAGIC (N.M. Sequeira) ran detached from  the 
                  field. Trainer Mr. D. Netto was advised to ensure  that 
                  his charge was capable of better performance in future.
        
        2nd Race:     86. The Bukit Timah Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
                       AL  BASTI (P.S. Chouhan) pulled up lame  on  right 
                  fore due to suspected fracture (sesomoids)  approaching 
                  the  700  Metres, the rider having to  dismount  before 
                  passing  the winning post. Subsequent to the  race  day 
                  the horse was euthanised. 
        
                       PRINCESS  TAARA (Md. Shafiq) burst its blood  ves-
                  sels  during  the race. Trainer Mr. Neil  Darashah  was 
                  informed  that  he must produce a  Fitness  Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
                       GOLDEN OPERA (S. Selvaraj) sustained a cut  injury 
                  on right hind cannon. 
        
                       The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported  Jockey  Mohd. 
                  Shafiq, the rider of PRINCESS TAARA to the Stewards for 
                  careless riding in that approaching the 1000 Metres  he 
                  came `in' and caused very severe interference to SAMRAT 
                  ASHOK  (C. Krishnan) on his inside which in  turn  went 
                  and  caused  interference to GIRL  NEXT  DOOR  (Shobhan 
                  Babu) along the rails which got totally unbalanced. The 
                  Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and inter-
                  viewed  Jockeys Mohd. Shafiq, C. Krishnan  and  Shobhan 
                  Babu.   After  deliberations, they decided  to  suspend 
                  Jockey Mohd. Shafiq from riding in races from 27-6-2007 
                  to  4-7-2007 (both days inclusive) for careless  riding 
                  (Rule  No.161(i))  on his mount PRINCESS TAARA  in  the 
                  above race (permitted to ride work). 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f GRAPHIC DESIGN. 
        
        3rd Race:     87. The Commanche Cup-Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres.
         9 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
                       IMPERIUM (Rajinder) was examined at the gates  and 
                  was found to be trotting lame on right hind.  Hence  it 
                  was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under 
                  starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Sait was  informed 
                  that  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate  from  the 
                  Club's  Veterinary  Officer before  accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
                       SMART  COLLECTION (T. Vijayan) ran  detached  from 
                  the field. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed  to 
                  ensure  that his charge was capable of  better  perfor-
                  mance in future. 
        
        4th Race:     88. The Tudor Jet Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
        12 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but  not  placed  second
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms). 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge CRIMSON ORCHID as regards shoeing. 
        
                       Jockey  Mark  Zahra,  the  rider  of  RETRIBUTION, 
                  placed  II  by  the Judge objected  against  Jockey  C. 
                  Alford,  the  rider of PERPETUITY placed I for  "I  was 
                  bumped  at  400 Metres and passing 350 Metres  he  came 
                  `in' and tightened me which unbalanced my horse whereby 
                  I  stopped riding which cost me a certain  race".   The 
                  Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and 
                  interviewed  the  Jockeys  Mark Zahra,  C.  Alford  and 
                  K.P.G.  Appu.   After deliberations,  they  decided  to 
                  overrule the objection.    
        
                       Jockey  K.P.G.  Appu, the rider  of  MILFORD,  was 
                  fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and bumping  RETRIBU-
                  TION  (Mark Zahra) on his outside approaching  the  400 
                  Metres. 
      
        5th Race:     89. The Regency Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 
         9 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 60 to 90, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b c MY TURN. 
        
        6th Race:     90. The Colts Trial Stakes-(Grade I) - (About)
        13 Runners    1600 Metres. 3 year old Indian Colts & Geldings
                      (Foaled in 2004)(Terms).
        
                       Trainer Mr. L.V.R. Deshmukh was fined  Rs.10,000/- 
                  by  the Stewards for failing to declare his charge  FLY 
                  BY  WIRE to start for this race after  having  accepted 
                  with it.  
        
                       Trainer Mr. Shehzad Abbas was fined a total sum of 
                  Rs.30,000/-  for failing to declare his  charges  CORPS 
                  COMMAND, EXCLUSIVE MONARCH and ROYAL GUARD to start for 
                  this race after having accepted with them. 
        
                       Jockey Rajinder, the rider of BRAHMAPUTRA, report-
                  ed  that he could not get a clear run  approaching  the 
                  1500 Metres due to the crowding of the field. 
        
                       Jockey  Y.S. Srinath, the rider of BADGE OF  GOLD, 
                  was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and bumping  HOT 
                  STEPPER  (Suraj Narredu) on his inside approaching  the 
                  1400 Metres. 
        
                       Jockey Aaron Spiteri, the rider of CARLOS, report-
                  ed  that he could not get a clear run  approaching  the 
                  1200 Metres due to the crowding of the field. 
        
                       Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of SWIFT  FIRE, 
                  was  fined  Rs.2,000/-  for shifting  out  and  causing 
                  interference  to  HOTSTEPPER  (Suraj  Narredu)  on  his 
                  outside approaching the 1100 Metres. 
        
                       Compulsory  Samples were taken for  analysis  from 
                  the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

        7th Race:     91. The Regency Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 
         9 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 90, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       CHIEF'S  DREAM (T.K. Jackman) was extremely  frac-
                  tious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstanc-
                  es it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under 
                  Starter's orders. 
        
                       OPRAH  (Y.S. Srinath) was extremely fractious  and 
                  refused  to be stalled. Under the circumstances it  was 
                  permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's 
                  orders. 
        
                      The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported  Jockey  Aaron 
                  Spiteri the rider of STAFIRE to the Stewards in connec-
                  tion with his riding on his mount. The Stewards held an 
                  enquiry  after  the last race  and  interviewed  Jockey 
                  Aaron Spiteri and P. Shroff, the trainer of the  horse.  
                  After  deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a)  note 
                  the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. P. Shroff; and 
                  (b)  suspend Jockey Aaron Spiteri from riding in  races 
                  from  27-6-2007 to 11-7-2007 (both days inclusive)  for 
                  unsatisfactory  riding (Rule No.161(ii))  on his  mount 
                  STAFIRE in the above race (permitted to ride work).  
        
        8th Race:     92. The M.Ali Asker Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200
        10 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       Permission  was  granted  to  trainer  Mr.  K.S.V. 
                  Prasad Raju to withdraw GOLDEN CELEBRITY on  veterinary 
                  grounds  as it was lame on right fore due to  traumatic 
                  injuries  with inflammation on right knee and  fetlock. 
                  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certifi-
                  cate form the Club's Veterinary Officer before  accept-
                  ing with it again. 
        
                       Jockey  C. Alford, the rider of COLONEL DUFF,  was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and causing  inter-
                  ference  to CHERIE DEI (Uday Kiran) on his inside  soon 
                  after the start. 
        
                       Jockey  Ranjeet Singh, the rider of HIDDEN  PLEAS-
                  URES,  was  fined  Rs.1,000/- for  shifting  `out'  and 
                  causing interference to CHERIE DEI (Uday Kiran) on  his 
                  outside soon after the start. 
        
                       Jockey Aaron Spiteri, the rider of AUCHINLECH, was 
                  fined  Rs.3,000/-  for not persevering with  his  mount 
                  during the race. 
        
                       AUCHINLECH (Aaron Spiteri) sustained cut injury on 
                  right stifle. 
        
        9th Race:     93. The Bergamo Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses
        11 Runners    rated 20 to 50.
        
                       GOLDEN TRICKS (D. Gnaneshwar) was extremely  frac-
                  tious and refused to remain in the gates. Hence it  was 
                  permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's 
                  Orders. 
        
                       SERIOUS  WARRIOR (B. Sreekanth) planted  and  lost 
                  considerable  ground  at  the start.  In  view  of  its 
                  behaviour trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he 
                  must  not  accept  with it again  until  its  behaviour 
                  improved  to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
                  wards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.  
        
                       GUTSY LADY (K.P.G. Appu) planted and lost  consid-
                  erable  ground at the start.  In view of its  behaviour 
                  trainer Mr. N.A. Ponnappa was informed that he must not 
                  accept  with it again until its behaviour  improved  to 
                  the  satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
                  Mock Race on a race day on the race track.  
        
                       Jockey  C. Krishnan, the rider of  GREAT  CHIEFTAN 
                  was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and causing inter-
                  ference  to CINDERELLA MAN (R. Biramne) on  his  inside 
                  approaching the 300 Metres.
