        1st Race:     111. The Camino Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden
        10 Runners    Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run
                      at least thrice but not placed second, third or
                      fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
                       DON  CHERRY (A.R. Mani) was slowly away  and  lost 
                  considerable  ground at the start. In view of  its  be-
                  haviour  trainer  Mr. S. Dominic was  informed  not  to 
                  accept  with it again until its behaviour  improved  to 
                  the  satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
                  jumpout on a starting gate practice day. 
        
                       DON  CHERRY  (A.R. Mani) struck the  front  runner 
                  DAWSON'S  CREEK  (Imran  Chisty)  approaching  the  800 
                  Metres  and stumbled. The horse was impounded  for  ve-
                  terinary  examination immediately after the  race.  The 
                  Club's Veterinary Officer reported that no  abnormality 
                  was noticed.
        
                       Jockey  Uday  Kiran, the rider of  LEO  DVIJ,  was 
                  fined  a sum of Rs.3,000/- for coming `in' and  causing 
                  interference to ECHOES OF LIGHT (C. Alford)   approach-
                  ing  the  1300  Metres and again  approaching  the  300 
                  Metres. 
        
                       PORTPA  TRICK (Ch K Chary) sustained a cut  injury 
                  on left hind, fetlock and right gaskin.  
        
        2nd Race:    112. The Noble Princess Plate - (About) 2000 Metres.
         8 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       In a tightly packed field ONLY ROYALE (B. Prakash) 
                  had  to  be checked by its rider approaching  the  1800 
                  Metres  and  had to shift out thereby taking  out  FREE 
                  GLIDER (K.P.G. Appu) and TIME ON (A. Imran Khan) on its 
                  outside.
        
                       Jockey  Suraj  Narredu, the rider  of  ALLEYESONME 
                  reported that he lost his left stirrup approaching  the 
                  900 Metres which he regained it immediately.
        
                       Jockey  N.  Rawal, the rider of SMART  EMPIRE  was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip  on 
                  his mount during the race (1st infringement). 
        
        3rd Race:     113. The Kranji Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses
        12 Runners    rated 00 to 30, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       The  Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr.  S. 
                  Narredu   to the Stewards for the reversal of  form  of 
                  his charge PRINCESS EMILY (Jagdish Shukla), the  winner 
                  of  this race as compared to its previous runs in  race 
                  No. 96 of the BSM 2007 i.e The New Market Plate-(About) 
                  1200  Metres,  on 23-6-2007 when ridden  by  Jockey  R. 
                  Biramne  it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an  enquiry 
                  after  the  last  race and interviwed  trainer  Mr.  S. 
                  Narredu.  After deliberations, the Stewards decided  to 
                  severely caution trainer Mr. S. Narredu as to maintain-
                  ing consistency in the performance of his charges. 
        
                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner ch m PRINCESS EMILY. 
        
        4th Race      114. The Royal Tern Plate-Div.I-(About)1200 Metres.
        11 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       Permission  was granted to trainer Mr. S.  Dominic 
                  to withdraw KING OF QUEENS (K.P.G. Appu) on  veterinary 
                  grounds  as it was lame on right hind due to  traumatic 
                  injury  on cannon and pastern. He was informed that  he 
                  must  produce  a Fitness Certificate  from  the  Club's 
                  Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.  
        
                       DOM  PERIGNON (Himanshu) accidentally brushed  the 
                  false rails approaching the 900 Metres. 
        
                       Jockey  Shadab Khan, the rider of HOLD  THE  FORT, 
                  was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and causing inter-
                  ference  to  AMAZING LOOK (M. Narredu)  on  his  inside 
                  approaching the 300 Metres. 
        
        5th Race:     115. The H.B.Gundappa Gowda Memorial Cup - (About)
        11 Runners    1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above.
        
                       PERSEPHONE (S. John) was fractious and refused  to 
                  be  stalled. Under the circumstances it  was  withdrawn 
                  before coming under Starter's Orders.  
        
                       MESMERISING  (P.S.  Chouhan) stumbled  soon  after 
                  jumping  out of the starting gates. The horse  was  im-
                  pounded  for veterinary examination  immediately  after 
                  the race. The Veterinary Officer reported at 4.25  p.m. 
                  that it is paralised due to back injury and subsequent-
                  ly it was euthanised. 
        
                       The  Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr.  B. 
                  Puttanna  to the Stewards for the reversal of  form  of 
                  his charge TRIBAL FANTASY (A. Ashok Kumar), the  winner 
                  of  this race as compared to its previous runs in  race 
                  No.  83  of the BSM 2007 i.e The S.M.  Ramakrishna  Rao 
                  Memorial  Cup  (About) 1200 Metres, on  16-6-2007  when 
                  ridden by the same rider it ran unplaced. The  Stewards 
                  held  an  enquiry after the last  race  and  interviwed 
                  trainer  Mr.  B.  Puttanna.  After  deliberations,  the 
                  Stewards  decided  to severely caution trainer  Mr.  B. 
                  Puttanna  as to maintaining consistency in the  perfor-
                  mance of his charges. 
        
                  Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner dkb m TRIBAL FANTASY. 
        
        6th Race:     116. The Fire Haven Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. 
        11 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only. Horses  
                      (who have run at least thrice but not placed second
                      third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms).
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh 
                  to withdraw DARE YOU DO (Harish) on veterinary  grounds 
                  as it was lame on left fore due to inflammed elbow gal. 
                  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certifi-
                  cate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before  accept-
                  ing with it again. 
        
                       Jockey  Ch.K.  Chary, the rider of  INVERARY,  was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/- for shifting `out' and  bumping  TRUE 
                  CONFIDENCE  (Imran Chisty) on his  outside  approaching 
                  the 700 Metres. 
        
                       MISS  CHULBULLI  (Shabad  Khan)  jumped  awkwardly 
                  outwards,  lost  some ground at the start and  ran  de-
                  tached from the field.  In view of its behaviour train-
                  er  Mr.  F. Sirajuddin was informed that  he  must  not 
                  accept  with it again until its behaviour  improved  to 
                  the  satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
                  Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g BORN BRAVE. 
        
        7th Race:     117. The Kumararajah M.A.M.Muthiah Cup-(About) 1200
        10 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       CIMARRON  (Himanshu) was extremely  fractious  and 
                  refused to be stalled.  Under the circumstances it  was 
                  withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.   
        
                       INTEGRA (Suraj Narredu) was extremely fractious in 
                  the  gates whereby the rider was injured and  certified 
                  medically  unfit to ride.  Under the  circumstances  it 
                  was withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.   
        
                       Jockey Vincent Colgan, the rider of THE CONTENDER, 
                  was  reprimanded for dropping hands before passing  the 
                  winning post. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b c IN THE ZONE
        
        8th Race      118. The Royal Tern Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 
        12 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of MAJOR  IMPRESSION, 
                  was  fined Rs.2,000/- for failing to produce a  Fitness 
                  Certificate  from the Club's  Medical Officer  when  he 
                  was specifically advised to do so.
        
        Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of DARKTAN, reported that  his 
        reins  slipped  momentarily approaching the 400 Metres  which  he 
        regained immediately.

        on  behalf of trainer Mr. Warren Singh who was unable  to  attend
