1st Race: 119. The Young Rajput Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200
9 Runners Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
FLYING JET (Gajender Singh) sustained a cut injury
on right fore cannon.
MOTIVATIONAL (Nasir Imam) sustained a cut injury
on right hind fetlock.
2nd Race: 120. The Smart Chieftan Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1200
11 Runners Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only
(Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
second, third or fourth even once ineligible)
(Terms).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sriram
Komandur to substitute Jockey J.H. Christopher to ride
LAGO VISTA in place of Jockey Suraj Narredu, the de-
clared rider.
Jockey C. Alford, the rider of ANDRALYN, was fined
Rs.1,000/- for not being alert at the start.
Jockey N.M. Sequeira, the rider of BOLD BLAST, was
fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly changing course thereby
inconveniencing MARIANELLA (B.L. Paswan) on his inside
approaching the 400 Metres .
SOUTHERN INSTINCT (L. Marshall) was inclined to
run out throughout the race. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal
was informed to take appropriate corrective measures
before accepting with it again.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis form the
winner b c NEEDOFTHEHOUR.
3rd Race: 121. The Young Rajput Plate - Div.I-(About) 1200
8 Runners Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. L.D'Silva to
withdraw SPY MATE (B. Mukesh) on veterinary grounds as
it was lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder. He
was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate
from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting
with it again.
PRECIOUS ANGEL (B. Prakash) suddenly shied away
from the false rails approaching the 900 Metres; the
rider having to check his mount.
4th Race: 122. The Smart Chieftan Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1200
11 Runners Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. D. Netto to
substitute Jockey C. Alford to ride GOOD HEART in place
of Jockey Suraj Narredu, the declared rider.
Jockey T.K. Jackman, the rider of EVER SO CLEVER,
was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip
on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
5th Race: 123. The Nawab Sultan Ali Khan Memorial Plate -
10 Runners (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 4 and 5
years old.
ANCHORET (S. John) planted and lost considerable
ground at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer
Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not
accept with it again until its behaviour improved to
the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one
Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Vijay R Kadam, the rider of SUAVE, was
fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interfer-
ence to ALGIERS (Shobhan Babu) on his outside approach-
ing the 300 Metres.
Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of ALGIERS, placed
IV, by the Judge objected against Jockey D. Gnaneshwar,
the rider of THE FORCE placed I for "last 400 Metres
he bumped me and again at last 350 Metres packed me and
my mount lost momentum and this cost me a certain
race." The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after
the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After
deliberations they decided to overrule the objection.
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of THE FORCE, was
fined Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' and tightening ALGIERS
(Shobhan Babu) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of THE FORCE, was
fined Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and causing interfer-
ence to HIDALGO (S. Ramesh) on his inside which in
turn passed it on to CHILLY WIND (Vivek) approaching
the final 100 Metres of the race.
6th Race: 124. The Maharaja's Cup (Grade II) - (About) 2200
8 Runners Metres. 4 years old and over (Terms).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Vijay Singh
to substitute Jockey M. Narredu to ride APERITIVO in
place of Jockey Suraj Narredu the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. G. Karthik was fined Rs.500/- for
making an error in the declaration of weight in respect
of his charge FLASHING STAR.
Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from
the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

Jockey Mark Zahra, the rider of HOLDING COURT, was
cautioned for accidentally striking the whip of Jockey
Imran Chisty whereby the latter lost his whip approach-
ing the 200 Metres.
7th Race: 125. The Brig.R.C.R.Hill Memorial Cup-(About) 1400
12 Runners Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 5 years old only.
STAR DISTINCTION (V. Patel) ran detached from the
field. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to ensure
better performance in future.
DISTRIBUTOR (A. Imran Khan) sustained a cut injury
on left hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the
winner dkb m MAGICAL SPIRIT.
8th Race: 126. The Broadacres Stud Plate - (About) 1200
12 Runners Metres. Horse rated 60 to 90, 4 and 5 years old.
HOLD THE TIGER (R. Koch) ran detached from the
field. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to ensure
better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of NATIONAL TRUST,
was fined Rs.1,000/- for travelling wide between the
900 Metres to 500 Metres for no apparent reason.
9th Race: 127. The Endorsement Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
11 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50.
Trainer Mr. Rafaat Hussain was fined Rs.10,000/-
by the Stewards for failing to declare his charge
RIGHTHERERIGHTNOW to start for this race after having
accepted with it.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Prithvir-
aj to withdraw SIMPLY FLY on veterinary grounds as it
was lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. He was
informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate
from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting
with it again.
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider HARI HAR PRIYA,
was fined Rs..3,000/- for coming `in' and causing
severe interference to COLOUR SARGEANT (Ch K Chary) on
his inside within 100 Metres of the race.
