The Delhi Cup-Div.II - (About) 1600 Metres. 8 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old. MR WHISKERS (A. Velu) pulled up lame after the race on left fore due to sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. DAZZLING FIRE (S. Babu) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey J.E. Pereira, the rider of HIMA'S PRIDE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of HAKUNA MATATA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement). Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SOLDIER BLUE. 2nd Race: 138. The Chennai Cup - (About) 2200 Metres. Horses 7 Runners rated 40 to 70. CHILLY WIND (J.H. Christopher) sustained a cut injury on right fore coronet. CONDE NAST (C. Alford) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f CHERIKA. 3rd Race: 139. The Delhi Cup-Div.I-(About) 1600 Metres.Horses 8 Runners rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. G. Nityanand to substitute Jockey A. Ashok Kumar to ride STAR BLUE in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider. ROYAL HEIR (B. Prakash) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock. 4th Race: 140. The Hyderabad Cup-(About) 1200 Metres. Maiden 10 Runners Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms). STCKIEWICKETDOTCOM (M. Narredu) was fractious at the gates. The rider reported that after jumping out he lost his right stirrup which he regained later. QUANTICO (C. Alford) sustained a cut inquiry on right fore cannon. LOUGHBOROUGH (A. Imran Khan) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of LOUGHBOROUGH and Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of DIAMOND SHOWER to the Stewards for Reckless Riding in that from the 950 Metres till round- ing the final bend both were repeatedly bumping against each other heedless of the consequences to both and others in the field. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockeys A. Imran Khan and Tauseef Ahmed. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockeys Licence of both Jockey A. Imran Khan and Tauseef Ahmed from 18-7-2007 to 3-8-2007 (both days inclusive) for Reckless Riding (Rule No.161(i)) on their respective mounts LOUGHBOROUGH and DIAMOND SHOWER in the above race (permitted to ride work). Jockey A. Imran Khan was further reprimanded by the Stewards as to his behaviour while being questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards and was cautioned to be more careful in future. 5th Race: 141. The Mysore Cup-Div.I- (About) 1400 Metres. 9 Runners Horses rated 60 to 90. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Manga- lorkar to substitute Jockey S. Selvaraj to ride ALLONIA in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider. Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of SOUTH PARADISE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of REGENTS PARK, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement). ALLONIA (S. Selvaraj) whipped around after jumping out of the gates and ran on to the outer sand track. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 6th Race: 142. The Kingfisher Derby Bangalore (Grade I) - 12 Runners (About) 2000 Metres. 3-year-old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2004) (Terms). GOLDEN EDITION (M. Rajendra Singh) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern. Horses 11 Runners rated 80 and above. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to withdraw SYMBOL OF SPEED (Neeraj Rawal) on veteri- nary grounds as it had inflammed left fore tendon due to injury with swelling and pain. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of SANDOKAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interfer- ence to ARTURO (C. Alford) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres. 9th Race: 145. The Mysore Cup-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. 9 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50. Trainer Mr. L D'Silva was fined Rs.2,000/- for the negligence in the discharge of his duties pertaining to his charge HYPNOTIQ (Imran Chisty) as regards racing colours. SALUT D'AMOUR (S. Babu) planted at the starting gates and lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. Jockey J.E. Pereira, the rider of RUNNING MAN, reported that his mount was hanging `in' in the straight. Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian before accepting with it again. The Stipendiary Stewards reported that Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of MYSTIFIED, was being fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race. The Stewards after viewing the CCTV replay of the race, confirmed the fine imposed on Jockey B.Prakash. They further directed the Stipendiary Stewards to severely caution Jockey B.
