        1st Race:     194. The Lively Emprey Plate - (About) 2200 Metres.
         6 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       Trainer  Mr.  S. Narredu was  fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  failing to produce the declared coloured cap in respect 
                  of his charge EL GORDO. 
        
                       Jockey  J.E. Pereira, the rider of  PLUM  PUDDING, 
                  was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the  whip 
                  on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
        
        2nd Race:     195. The Tokyo Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
        11 Runners    rated 00 to 30, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       THRILL  OF  HOPE (J.E. Pereira)  jumped  awkwardly 
                  inwards  from  the starting  gates  and  inconvenienced 
                  SALUT D'AMOUR (Imran Chisty) on the inside. 
        
                       A GIRL IN BLUE (J.H.Christopher) after jumping out 
                  from the starting gates, swerved to the right and  took 
                  no  practical  part in the race.  In view  of  its  be-
                  haviour  trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that  he 
                  must  not  accept  with it again  until  its  behaviour 
                  improved  to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
                  wards in 2 Mock Races on race days on the race track. 
        
                       Jockey  S. John, the rider of DARKTAN, was  repri-
                  manded  for coming `in' sharply soon after the start.
        
                       Jockey  Ryan Marshall, the rider of  MAFIOSO,  re-
                  ported  that his surcingle snapped during the race.  On 
                  examination  of  the equipment after the  race  it  was 
                  observed to have been otherwise well maintained and  as 
                  such no further action was taken. 
        
                       Jockey  Ryan Marshall, the rider of  MAFIOSO,  was 
                  reprimanded  for dropping his hands before passing  the 
                  winning post. 
        
                       BUMBLE BEE (Vivek) sustained a cut injury on  left 
                  hind bulb of heel.
        
                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b  g DARKTAN. 
        
        3rd Race:     196. The Track Lightning Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1400
        10 Runners   Metres.Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses
                      who have run at least thrice but not placed second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
                       DON CHERRY (D. Mahendran) swerved to the left soon 
                  after  jumping out of the starting gates and lost  some 
                  ground.






        
        
                       Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of GIFT A  DIAMOND, 
                  was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' and causing inter-
                  ference  to  MAJOR ASSET (Mohd. Ghous)  on  his  inside 
                  which  had  to be checked by its rider  thereby  losing 
                  some ground approaching the 1300 Metres.
        
                       Jockey  D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of ANDRALYN,  was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' sharply  and  bumping 
                  ASTOUNDING BLUE (B.L. Paswan) on his inside passing the 
                  1300 Metres. 
        
                       Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dkb  c 
                  WAR OF ATTRITION. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g ARABIAN KNIGHT. 
        
        4th Race:     197. The Champion Trainer Cup-Div.II-(About) 1200
        12 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       NIL
        
        5th Race:     198. The Mystic Memory Trophy- (About) 1100 Metres.
        12 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms). 
        
                       Jockey  B.L.  Paswan,  the  rider  of   MARIANELLA  
                  reported  that his saddle shifted backward  approaching 
                  the 400 Metres and he could not offer sufficient assis-
                  tance to his mount thereafter. After examination of the 
                  equipment after the race, trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/-  for faulty saddling  of  his  charge 
                  MARIANELLA.
        
                       The  Stipendiary Stewards reported trainer Mr.  V. 
                  Lokanath to the Stewards in connection with the  rever-
                  sal  of form of his charge BORN BEAUTY  (J.H.  Christo-
                  pher) the winner of this race as compared to its previ-
                  ous run in race No.191 of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2007 
                  i.e. The Manitou Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1100 Metres,  for 
                  Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who  have 
                  run  at  least thrice but not placed second,  third  or 
                  fourth  even  once ineligible (terms)  when  ridden  by 
                  Jockey K.P.G. Appu it ran unplaced.  The Stewards  held 
                  an enquiry after the last race and interviewed  Trainer 
                  Mr.  V. Lokanath. After deliberations, they decided  to 
                  fine  trainer Mr. V. Lokanath a sum of Rs.10,000/-  for 
                  the  reversal of form of his charge BORN BEAUTY in  the 
                  above race as compared to its run in Race No.191 of BSM 
                  2007 held on 29th July 2007.
        
                       An  enquiry  is being held into  the  running  and 
                  riding  of ASSOCIATOR trained by Mr. G. Karthik  (depu-
                  tised by Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy) and ridden by Jockey 
                  Imran Chisty.
        
                       ON  THE DOT (Shobhan Babu) sustained a cut  injury 
                  on right hind fetlock.
                      
                       EVENT  HORIZON  (Shakti  Singh)  sustained  a  cut 
                  injury on right hock.
        
        6th Race:     199. The Champion Trainer Cup - Div.I -(About) 1200
        11 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       REMARKABLE  STRIDE (Imran Chisty) was examined  at 
                  the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on 
                  right  fore.   Hence  it was  withdrawn  on  veterinary 
                  grounds before coming under Starter's Orders.   Trainer 
                  Mr.  S.  Ganapathy  (deputising  for  trainer  Mr.   G. 
                  Karthik)  was informed that he must produce  a  Fitness 
                  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before 
                  accepting with it again. 
        
                       SUPER  WOMAN  (Vincent  Colgan)  jumped  awkwardly 
                  outwards from the starting gates, swerved towards  left 
                  and lost few lengths. 
        
                       SUPER  WOMAN  (Vincent  Colgan)  sustained  a  cut 
                  injury on right hock. 
        
                       SUNNY'S INSTINCT (V. Sunil Kumar) sustained a  cut 
                  injury on right flank. 
        
                       ALL OURS (Md. Shafiq) was slowly away and lost few 
                  lengths. 
        
        7th Race:     200. The Patrons Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses
        12 Runners    rated 80 and above.
         
                       Jockey  Mark Zahra, the rider of  RHAPSIDION  SNOW 
                  was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the  whip 
                  on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
         
                       Jockey  Mark Zahra, the rider of  RHAPSIDION  SNOW 
                  was fined Rs.2,000/- for persistently using the whip on 
                  the  right  whereby he could  not  exercise  sufficient 
                  control  over his mount, allowing it to drift  out  and 
                  taking out BADGE OF GOLD (B. Prakash) on his outside in 
                  the last 300 Metres of the race.
        
                       Jockey  Ranjeet Singh, the rider of FLORICAN,  was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for the improper use of the  whip  on 
                  his  mount  whereby he allowed it to drift out  in  the 
                  last 300 Metres. 
        
        8th Race:     201. The A.Raoof Sait Memorial Plate-Div.I -  
        11 Runners  (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70. 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge OLIVIA VALERE as regards shoeing. 
        
                       Permission  was granted to trainer Mr. S.K.  Habib 
                  Khan to withdraw DISTRIBUTOR (S. Ramesh) on  veterinary 
                  grounds  as  it was lame on left fore due  to  sprained 
                  knee.   He was informed that he must produce a  Fitness 
                  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before 
                  accepting with it again. 
                
                       FIGHTING  STAR  (Suraj Narredu)  jumped  violently 
                  outwards  from  the  starting gates  and  bumped  SENNA 
                  (K.P.G. Appu)
        
                       Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of FIGHTING  STAR, 
                  reported that his mount was hanging `in' throughout the 
                  race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary  examina-
                  tion.  After examination the Club's Veterinary  Officer 
                  reported  that FIGHTING STAR has sustained injuries  on 
                  right hind fetlock, hock and was also observed to  have 
                  caps  (508 & 608) on either side of upper jaw.  Trainer 
                  Mr.  Darius  Byramji was advised  to  take  appropriate 
                  remedial measures before accepting with it again.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f SWEEPING SUCCESS. 
        
        9th Race:     202.The Capricorn Stud Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres
        11 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 90, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy 
                  to  withdraw FLAMING GLORY (B. Prakash)  on  veterinary 
                  grounds  as it was lame on right fore due  to  inflamed 
                  fetlock as a result of trauma. He was informed that  he 
                  must  produce  a Fitness Certificate  from  the  Club's 
                  Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge SUGAR BLAZE as regards shoeing.
        
                       ASCOT  LADY  (K.P.G. Appu) was  observed  to  have 
                  slipped  from  hind as the start was  effected  thereby 
                  losing some ground. 
        
                       ASCOT  LADY (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood  vessels 
                  during  the race.  Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was  informed 
                  that  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate  from  the 
                  Club  's  Veterinary Officer before accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
        10th Race:     203. The Track Lightning Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1400 
        10 Runners    Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
                      second,  third  or  fourth  even  once  ineligible)
                      (Terms). 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge PRICELESSOLITAIRE as regards shoeing. 
        
        11th Race:     204. The A.Raoof Sait Memorial Plate-Div.II -  
        12 Runners    (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70. 
        
                       TURF MAGIC (D. Mahendran) burst its blood  vessels 
                  during  the race.  Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was  informed 
                  that  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate  from  the 
                  Club  's  Veterinary Officer before accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
                  Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b c COLONEL DUFF.

        1st Race:     185. The Manitou Cup-Div.II-(About) 1100 Metres.
         9 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        The  Stipendiary  Stewards  reported trainer Mr.  M.  Eshwer  and 
        Jockey  M. Reuben to the Stewards in connection with the  running 
        and riding of STANZA STARRY in the above race.  The Stewards held 
        an enquiry after the last race on 2nd August 2007 and interviewed 
        trainer Mr. M. Eshwer and Jockey M. Reuben. After  deliberations, 
        they decided to (a) note the explanation tendered by trainer  Mr. 
        M. Eshwer; and (b) give the benefit of a grave doubt to Jockey M. 
        Reuben  in handling of his mount in the above race and  cautioned 
        him to be careful in future. 
        
        The  Stipendiary Stewards reported trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj  and 
        Jockey T.S. Jodha to the Stewards in connection with the  running 
        and  riding of ARABIAN MEMORIES in the above race.  The  Stewards 
        held an enquiry after the last race on 2nd August 2007 and inter-
        viewed  trainer  Mr.  B. Prithviraj and Jockey  T.S.Jodha.  After 
        deliberations, they decided to (a) caution trainer Mr. B.  Prith-
        viraj  as  to his responsibility regarding  imparting  of  riding 
        instructions;  and (b) suspend Jockey T.S. Jodha from  riding  in 
        races  from  23-8-2007  to 14-9-2007 (both  days  inclusive)  for 
        unsatisfactory  riding  (Rule No.161(ii)) on  his  mount  ARABIAN 
        MEMORIES in the above race (permitted to ride work).
        
        
        8th Race:     192. The Bold Gesture Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400
        12 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
        The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider 
        of TATLER to the Stewards for careless riding in that soon  after 
        jumping  out of the starting gates he allowed his mount to  shift 
        inwards thereby causing severe interference to  LUCKYNUMBERSLEVEN 
        which had to be checked by its rider and lose considerable ground 
        and also to DARING BID (K. Narasimha) along the rails.  The  Ste-
        wards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockeys 
        D. Gnaneshwar and K.P.G. Appu. After deliberations, they  decided 
        to suspend his Jockey's licence from 23-8-2007 to 31-8-2007 (both 
        days inclusive) for careless riding (Rule No.161(i)) on his mount 
        TATLER in the above race (permitted to ride work).
        
        
        9th Race:     193. The Iflookscouldkill Plate - (About) 1600
        10 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old.
        
        The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported trainer Mr. B.  Puttanna  and 
        Jockey C. Krishnan to the Stewards in connection with the running 
        and riding of SUN ZONE in the above race .  The Stewards held  an 
        enquiry (after the last race on 2nd August 2007) and  interviewed 
        trainer  Mr. B. Puttanna and Jockey C. Krishnan. After  delibera-
        tions,  they  decided  to (a) note the  explanation  tendered  by 
        trainer  Mr.  B. Puttanna; and (b) give the benefit of  doubt  to 
        Jockey C.Krishnan in handling of his mount in the above race  and 
        cautioned him to be careful in future.
