        1st Race:    1. The Welcome Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.  
        12 Runners    Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        Jockey  Jagdish  Shukla,  the rider of FLYING  FLAME,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and tightening  MINT (A. Imran Khan) 
        and  FLIP YOUR DESTINY (J.F. Pereira) on his  inside  approaching 
        the 800 Metres. 
        
        Jockey  D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of JUST GREAT, reported that  he 
        lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres. 
        
        Jockey Ms. Lisa Jones, the rider of YOU BEAUTY, reported that her 
        mount  was hanging `in' throughout the race.  Trainer  Mr.  Arjun 
        Mangalorkar  was informed to get it checked by  his  Veterinarian 
        and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it 
        again. 
        
        DYNAMIC  TREND (S. Babu) burst its blood vessels after the  race.  
        Trainer  Mr.  Karan  Singh was informed that he  must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
                                        
        2nd Race:    2. The Rare Gem Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. 
        12 Runners    Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible).
        
        Jockey Wayne Smith, the rider of ENDURING STAR, reported that  he 
        could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the  starting 
        gates due to the crowding of the field. 
        
        STAR  PRESENTATION  (Y.S.  Srinath) drifted  out  under  pressure 
        during the final stages of the race. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b  f  SAL-
        SERA. 
        
        3rd Race:    3. The Sha Tin Plate-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses 
        12 Runners    rated 00 to 25, 4, 5 and 6 years old 
        
        SPRINT  QUEEN  (Jayaprakash)  planted in the starting  gates  and 
        lost many lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour trainer 
        Mr.  J.S.  Pillay was informed that he must not  accept  with  it 
        again  until  its behaviour improved to the satisfaction  of  the 
        Stipendiary  Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the  race 
        track.

        Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of KING OF GOOD TIMES, was  fined  
        Rs.3,000/-  for not riding out his mount in the last 100  Metres.  
        He was further cautioned in the presence of trainer Mr. S. Britto 
        that  a repetition of similar manner of riding would  entail  him 
        being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
        
        ASTONICAL (Jagdish Shukla) sustained gum injury.
        
        KING OF GOOD TIMES (Khurshad Alam) sustained gum injury.
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  SPREAD 
        A SMILE.
                                        
        4th Race:    4. The Royal Command Plate-(About) 1100 Metres. 
        11 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45. 
        
        Trainer  Mr. S. Narredu was reprimanded for bringing  his  charge 
        PIED HARRIER late to the paddock. 
        
        Jockey  B. Mukesh, the rider of COSTA MESA, was fined  Rs.1,000/- 
        for coming `in' and causing interference to POETIC (Y.S. Srinath) 
        on  his  inside  immediately after jumping out  of  the  starting 
        gates. 
        
        Jockey  Shanth  Kumar,  the rider of LITTLE  PREMIUM,  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/-  for shifting `out' and causing interference to  SMART 
        SPECIAL (Himanshu), VOICE OF INDIA (Vijay Kumar)  WORTH A MILLION 
        (M.J.  Gautam Raj Urs) on his outside soon after jumping  out  of 
        the starting gates. 
                                     
        5th Race:    5. The Mysor's Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses 
        12 Runners    rated 40 to 65. 
        
        HAKUNA MATATA (S. Chandrashekar) swerved to the left after  jump-
        ing out of the starting gates, refused to raise a gallop for some 
        time  and  took no practical part in the race.  In  view  of  its 
        behaviour  trainer Mr.Sharat Kumar was informed that he must  not 
        accept  with it again until its behaviour improved to the  satis-
        faction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on  a  race 
        day on the race track. 
        
        Jockey  Md.  Shafiq, the rider of MADAM RICH  reported  that  his 
        mount was  hanging `out' after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. 
        B. Prithviraj was informed to get it checked by his  Veterinarian 
        and  take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with  it 
        again.
        
        SNOB VALUE (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) sustained a gum injury.
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b  f  STAR 
        WAVE. 
                                        
        6th Race:    6. The Krishnaraja Wadiyar Cup-(About) 1200 Metres. 
         7 Runners    Horses rated 80 and above. 
        
        Jockey  D.  Gnaneshwar,  the rider of BUDDY  BROTHERS  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/-  for the careless use of the whip soon  after  jumping 
        out whereby BRAHMAPUTRA (Wayne Smith) moving on the inside momen-
        tarily shied. 
        
        BRAHMAPUTRA  (Wayne Smith) accidentally brushed the  false  rails 
        approaching the 900 Metres. 
        
        Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  DINE-
        SA.
                                        
        7th Race:    7. The Littleover Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses 
        12 Runners    rated 20 to 45, 4, 5 and 6 years old 
        
        Jockey  M.  Narredu, the rider of MAC, reported that  his  saddle 
        shifted  back passing the 700 Metres and that he could not  offer 
        sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter. After  examination 
        of  the equipment after the race, trainer Mr. Irfan  Ghatala  was 
        fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling. 
        
        STAR  BLUE  (Shobhan Babu) sustained a cut injury  on  left  hind 
        cannon. 
        
        8th Race:    8. The Welcome Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. 
        12 Runners    Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        ENCHANTING  BEAUTY  (J.E. Pereira) sustained deep cut  injury  on 
        right hind. 
        
        KAJURAHO (Vinod Shinde) sustained an injury on left hind gaskin. 
        
        SILICON  LADY (K. Raja Rao) sustained a deep cut injury on  right 
        buccal wall and corner of mouth. 
        
        Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of DAKINI reported that his mount 
        was  inclined to run out soon after the start. Trainer  Mr.  J.S. 
        Dhariwal was informed to take appropriate corrective measures and 
        not  to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to  the 
        satisfaction  of  the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out  on  a 
        starting gate practice day. 
        
        Jockey  K. Raja Rao, the rider of SILCON LADY reported  that  his 
        mount  was running erratically after passing the 900  Metres  and 
        that  he  had considerable difficulty in keeping it  on  an  even 
        course.   Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to get it  checked 
        by  his  Veterinarian and not to accept with it again  until  its 
        behaviour  improved to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
        wards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
