        1st Race:    9. The Malenahalli Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. 
        11 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 25.
        
        EVERYTHING  NICE (Jagdish Shukla) reared up as the  gates  opened 
        and  lost  few lengths at the start.  In view  of  its  behaviour 
        trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with 
        it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of  the 
        Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate  practice 
        day. 
        
        Jockey  Pawan  Sharma, the rider of GRACIAN,  reported  that  his 
        mount  was hanging `in' after entering the straight. Trainer  Mr. 
        Mahmood  Khan was informed to get it checked by his  Veterinarian 
        and  take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with  it 
        again. 
        
        Jockey  B.L. Paswan, the rider of ORANGE ORCHARD,  reported  that 
        his  mount was hanging `in' after entering the straight.  Trainer 
        Mr. Samar Singh was informed to get it checked by his Veterinari-
        an  and take appropriate remedial measures before accepting  with 
        it again. 
        
        RONKONKOMA (G. Adarsh) was observed to be lame on right fore soon 
        after  the race.  Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed  that  he 
        must  produce  a Fitness Certificate from the  Club's  Veterinary 
        Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b  f  MISS 
        MARVELOUS. 
        
        2nd Race:   10. The Mount Everest Trophy - Div.II-(About) 1100 
        10 Runners   Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run atleast thrice but not placed
                      second, third or fourth even once ineligible)
                      (Terms).
        
        SUNNY COLOURS (M. Narredu) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconven-
        ienced OUR CHARM (S. Babu) on the inside. 
        
        Jockey  K.  Narasimha,  the  rider of  THEATRE  STAR,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during 
        the race. 
        
        Jockey  V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of RUNNING SPLENDOUR,  reported 
        that  his  mount was hanging `out' after entering  the  straight. 
        Trainer  Mr.  Samar Singh was informed to get it checked  by  his 
        Veterinarian  and  take appropriate  corrective  measures  before 
        accepting with it again. 

        SUPREME  HARMONY (K. Raja Rao) burst its blood vessels after  the 
        race.  Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce 
        a  Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        VOODOO MOON (Zia Akhtar) pulled up lame after the race.   Trainer 
        Mr.  Mahmood  Khan was informed that he must  produce  a  Fitness 
        Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary Officer before  accepting 
        with it again. 
        
        The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination VOODOO 
        MOON  (Zia  Akhtar)  was found to have  caps  and  sharp  molars.  
        Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to take appropriate remedi-
        al measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        3rd Race:    11. The Allaire Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
        10 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45. 
        
        GRAND  MADAME  (Y.S. Srinath) stumbled while jumping out  of  the 
        starting gates.
        
        GRAND MADAME (Y.S.Srinath) drifted out under pressure during  the 
        final stages of the race. 
        
        Jockey Ms Lisa Jones, the rider of MONEYINTHEBANK, reported  that 
        her  mount  was hanging `out' in the straight and  that  she  had 
        considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course.  Trainer 
        Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed to get it checked by his  Veteri-
        narian  and take appropriate remedial measures  before  accepting 
        with it again. 
        
        4th Race:   12. The Mount Everest Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1100 
        10 Runners   Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run atleast thrice but not placed
                      second, third or fourth even once ineligible)
                      (Terms).
        
        As Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu was certified medically unfit to  ride 
        after his ride in the 2nd race, permission was granted to trainer 
        Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey  V.R. Jagadeesh  to  ride 
        SHEER  GOLD  in  place of Jockey G.Y. Rajesh  Babu  the  declared 
        rider.  
        
        Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.500/- for using a rubber 
        D'bit  on his charge CLOUSEAU (M. Narredu) without prior  permis-
        sion. 
        
        ASTRONOMER  ROYAL (M Ravi) ran detached from the  field.  Trainer 
        Mr.  Karan Singh was informed not to accept with it  again  until 
        its  behaviour  improved to the satisfaction of  the  Stipendiary 
        Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
        FOX  HAVEN (S. Babu)ran detached from the field. Trainer  Mr.  S. 
        Ganapathy was informed not to accept with it again until its  be-
        haviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary  Stewards 
        in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
        MATERIAL LADY (K. Narasimha) ran detached from the field. In view 
        of  its behaviour trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed  that  he 
        must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the 
        satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race  on  a 
        race day on the race track. 
        
        Jockey  S. Babu, the rider of FOX HAVEN, reported that his  mount 
        was  hanging`out'  in the straight. Trainer Mr. Karan  Singh  was 
        informed  to get it checked by his Veterinarian and  take  appro-
        priate remedial measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        The Club's Veterinary Officer reported on examination  ASTRONOMER 
        ROYAL (M. Ravi) was observed to have sharp molars on both  sides. 
        Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to take appropriate remedial 
        measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        5th Race:    13. The M.N. Prakash Memorial Trophy-Div.I-(About) 
        10 Runners    1200 Metres, horses rated 40 to 65, 4,5  & 6 years
                      old. 
        
        Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan and Jockey Wayne Smith were questioned 
        regarding  the  running  and riding of RIVER  ISLAND.  The  rider 
        stated  that his mount was slow into stride losing about 3  to  4 
        lengths  at the start, thereafter he had to repeatedly check  his 
        mount  i.e. once  within 100 Metres of the start and  approaching 
        the 700 Metres and again approaching the final bend due to pauci-
        ty  of opening and as such he could not be up with the field  and 
        could only finish 5th. The trainer corroborating the statement of 
        the  rider  added that the luck of the race did  not  favour  his 
        charge. Their explanations were noted. 
        
        After  the  race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported  that  on 
        examination  it  was observed that the left fore  shoe  of  RIVER 
        ISLAND (Wayne Smith) had apparently splayed during the race. 
        
        6th Race:   14. The Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Cup-Grade III-
        12 Runners    (About) 1400 Metres. 4 & 5 years old and over
                      (Terms).
        
        Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was fined a total sum of Rs.1,000/-  for 
        making  error  in  the declaration of weight in  respect  of  his 
        charges PASTICHE and CLASSIC SKY. 
        
        Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.500/- for making an error  in 
        the  declaration of weight in respect of his charge ROYAL  AMBAS-
        SADOR.
        
        Trainer  Mr.  Amit Caddy and Jockey M.  Narredu  were  questioned 
        regarding the running and riding of ROYAL AMBASSADOR. The trainer 
        stated that he had instructed the rider to keep it in a mid bunch 
        and ride out in the straight and that as per his observation  the 
        horse  did not show the spark after rounding the final  bend  and 
        that he was quite disappointed at the performance of his  charge. 
        The rider stated that he missed the jump but quickly brushed  his 
        mount  to be with the other runners and that after  entering  the 
        straight he was hampered for room and thereafter despite his best 
        effort  the horse did not show much acceleration. Their  explana-
        tions were noted.

        RUNNING  BULL (Wayne Smith) was fractious in the gates and  after 
        being  with the field gradually dropped back after  rounding  the 
        final bend to finish last. The horse was impounded for veterinary 
        examination. The Veterinary Officer reported that on  examination 
        of  the horse after the race and also after the last race it  was 
        observed to be sound. 
        
        Trainer  Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.500/- for using  a  rubber 
        D'bit  on his charge DARE DON (S. Rajesh) without  prior  permis-
        sion.
        
        Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the I, II and III 
        placed horses viz.:

        7th Race:   15. The Aureole Time Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
         9 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 and 6 years old.
        
        MASURATHI  (P.  Ramesh) burst its blood vessels after  the  race.  
        Trainer  Mr.  V.  Lokanath was informed that he  must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  Gopal Rao, the rider of ZAIOS, was fined  Rs.1,000/-  for 
        coming `in' and causing interference to DAMGOOD (Shobhan Babu) on 
        his inside approaching the 700 Metres. 
        
        DAMGOOD  (Shobhan  Babu)  sustained a cut injury  on  right  hind 
        cannon. 
        
        Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was questioned regarding the poor perfor-
        mance  of  his  charge CHAILA BABU in the  above  race.   Trainer 
        stated  that his charge had been working well with  blinkers  and 
        that  based on the work out and the company he fancied it to  win 
        but was quite shocked at the poor performance. The Jockey  stated 
        that his mount was travelling well till the final bend whereafter 
        it  gradually fell back to finish last. Trainer Mr.  Samar  Singh 
        was informed to keep his charge under veterinary observation  and 
        any ailment noticed on his charge.  
        
        Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g CHAILA BABU.
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b  m  WILE 
        WENCH. 
         
        8th Race:   16. The Usha Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
        12 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 85, 4,5 & 6 years old.
        
        STONE  OF  DESTINY (J.H. Christopher) swerved towards  left  soon 
        after jumping out of the starting gates and dislodged its  rider. 
        In  view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Warren Singh  was  informed 
        that  he  must not accept with it again until its  behaviour  im-
        proved  to  the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
        Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 

        Jockey  J.E.  Pereira was reprimanded for the delay  in  weighing 
        out.
         
        9th Race:     17. The M.N. Prakash Memorial Trophy-Div.II-(About) 
        10 Runners     1200 Metres, horses rated 40 to 65, 4,5  & 6 years
                      old. 
        
        LOOK ALIKE (Md. Shafiq) after being with the field gradually fell 
        back  to  finish last. In view of its behaviour  trainer  Mr.  B. 
        Prithviraj  was  informed that he must not accept with  it  again 
        until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendi-
        ary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
