        1st Race:     18. The Heir Apparent Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1100  
         8 Runners    Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
                      second,  third  or  fourth  even  once  ineligible)
                      (Terms).
        
        Permission  was  granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh  to  withdraw 
        ALEXANDER  THE GREAT (Sk. Sharookh) on veterinary grounds  as  it 
        was  lame on left fore due to inflamed cannon.  He  was  informed 
        that  he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the  Club's  Ve-
        terinary Officer before accepting with it again.
        
        Jockey R. Umesh, the rider of STORM COMMAND, was fined Rs.1,000/- 
        for  shifting `in' and causing interference to JAAN BAAZ, on  his 
        inside approaching the 800 Metres. 
        
        After  the  race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported  that  on 
        examination  MONEY MANTRA (S. Selvaraj) had apparently  lost  its 
        left hind shoe during the race. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g  CUTE 
        STYLE. 
        
        2nd Race:     19. The Heir Apparent Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1100  
         9 Runners    Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
                      second,  third  or  fourth  even  once  ineligible)
                      (Terms).
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dkb f LOTUS 
        LEAF. 
        
        3rd Race:    20. The Lady Gibraltar Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. 
        12 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
        
        Jockey  Shakti  Singh,  the rider of MOST  PREFERRED,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for coming `in' and causing interference to  HILL  OF 
        GRACE (Wayne Smith) on his inside soon after the start. 
        
        Jockey J.E. Pereira, the rider of BID FOR GLORY, reported that he 
        could  not  get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due  to  a 
        closely packed field. 
        
        Jockey  Wayne Smith, the rider of HILL OF GRACE, was  reprimanded 
        for repeatedly called out during the race. 
        
        ILLUSIVE GIRL (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) sustained a gum injury.
        
        Routine  Sample  was  taken for analysis from  the  winner  ch  f 
        QUEEN'S GUEST. 
        
        4th Race:    21. The Karnataka Police Cup-(About) 1600 Metres. 
        11 Runners    Horses rated 80 and above. 
        
        GENTLEMANS  DEAL (M. Narredu) was slow into stride and  lost  few 
        lengths  at  the  start.  In view of its  behaviour  trainer  Mr. 
        Laxman  Singh was informed that he must not accept with it  again 
        until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendi-
        ary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day. 
        
        Jockey Pawan Sharma, the rider of GUIDED MISSILE, was reprimanded 
        for not maintaining a straight course in the straight. 
        
        Jockey  Pawan  Sharma,  the rider of GUIDED  MISSILE,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (1st infringement).
        
        Jockey  Shadab Khan, the rider of EVANSTON, was fined  Rs.1,000/-  
        for  the excessive use of the whip on his mount during  the  race 
        (1s infringement). 
        
        Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g VANQU-
        ISH. 
                                     
        5th  Race:    22. The Kunigal Stud Plate-(About) 1200 Metres.  
        11 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 85. 
        
        RAIDER'S  SUN  (G.  Adarsh) jumped awkwardly  outwards  from  the 
        starting gates. 
        
        Jockey  R. Ravi, the rider of PANCHAKSHARI, was  reprimanded  for 
        not maintaining a proper course while rounding the final bend. 
                                       
        6th Race:    23. The Adrian Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. 
        10 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 65. 
        
        While parading in the Paddock it was observed that the right fore 
        shoe  of  STAR  OF WASHINGTON (Y.S. Srinath)  had  splayed  while 
        parading  in the paddock.  Immediately thereafter the  horse  was 
        reshod and sent to the starting gates. 
        
        DORABELLA  (J.H. Christopher) jumped awkwardly outwards from  the 
        gates and inconvenienced PLEASANT PRINCE (A. Imran Khan)  on  its 
        outside.
        
        VIJAYRATH  (M. Narredu) jumped awkwardly inwards from  the  gates 
        and inconvenienced ALCMENE (Suraj Narredu) on its inside.
        
        EQUIDAE  (Wayne Smith) was very fractious in the gates  and  sus-
        tained bleeding cut injury on left hind.  Hence it was  permitted 
        to be withdrawn before coming under Starters Orders.  Trainer Mr. 
        S.  Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness  Cer-
        tificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with 
        it again.  
                                        
        Jockey C. Alford, the rider of VALID EXPECTATION was  reprimanded 
        for weighing out late and was cautioned to be careful in future. 
        
        7th Race:    24. The Astounding Plate-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses 
        12 Runners    rated 20 to 45, 4, 5 and 6 years old 
        
        Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of IMMORTAL, was fined  Rs.1,000/;- 
        for  the excessive use of the whip on his mount during  the  race 
        (1st infringement).

        CHAR  CHAND (Kishore Kadam) sustained a cut injury on right  hind 
        pastern. 
        
        RAPID RESPONSE (Khurshad Alam) was observed to have ran  detached 
        from the field. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was questioned as to the 
        poor performance of his charge RAPID RESPONSE in the above  race. 
        Trainer  stated that the horse was running after a long  lay  off  
        and it had worked well which was substantiated by the track  work 
        log  book.  His explanations were noted for future reference  and 
        he was further informed to produce it in Mock Race on a race  day 
        on the race track.

        2nd Race:     19. The Heir Apparent Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1100  
         9 Runners    Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
                      second,  third  or  fourth  even  once  ineligible)
                      (Terms).
        
        The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported Jockey Harish, the  rider  of 
        LOTUS LEAF to the Stewards for violation of Calendar Notification 
        under  the heading "Alcohol Testing of Riders" in that he  failed 
        to  be  present  before the Medical Officer  of  the  Club  after 
        agreeing to do so by signing the intimation letter.  The Stewards 
        held  an  enqauiry  after the last race  and  interviewed  Jockey 
        Harish. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend  the 
        Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Harish from 7-6-2008 to  14-6-
        2008 (both days inclusive) for violation of Calendar Notification 
        "Alcohol Testing of Riders" in not presenting himself before  the 
        Medical  Officer  of theClub for Breathlyser Test  (permitted  to 
        ride work).
