        1st Race:    33. The Malakpet Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 25.
         
        Jockey B. Mukesh, the rider of ROYAL ARTIST, was reprimanded  for 
        not maintaining a proper course rounding the final bend. 
        
        ACTION HERO (I.A. Khan) sustained an injury on right stifle.
        
        ROYAL ARTIST (B. Mukesh) sustained an injury on left hind.  
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PHOENIX 
        REACH.
        
        2nd Race:    34. The Bhishma Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. 
        10 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
        
        Trainer Mr. N.A. Ponnappa was fined Rs.500/- for making an  error 
        in  the starting declaration in respect of his charge CINDY  GIRL 
        (Mohammed Shoaib) as regards shoeing. 
        
        Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of NICE GUY, was fined Rs.1,000/- 
        for  shifting  `in' and causing interference to STARRY  VIEW  (A. 
        Ashok Kumar) on his inside soon after the start. 
        
        Jockey  A.  Ashok  Kumar, the rider of  STARRY  VIEW,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for coming `in' and causing interference to  PLATINUM 
        DREAMS  (G. Adarsh) on his inside before passing the  red  marker 
        post.
        
        Jockey  M.J.  Gautam  Raj Urs, the rider of  COUELLE,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and causing interference to DESIRE  TO 
        DAZZLE (Md. Shafiq) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.  
        
        LUCKY  LOOK (S. Chandrashekar) sustained an injury on right  hind 
        pastern. 
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dkb f  MISS 
        HONEYDEW. 
                                       
        3rd Race:    35. The Jerry Can Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 65. 
        
        Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an  error 
        in  the  starting declaration in respect of his  charge  EVER  SO 
        CLEVER (Vinod Shinde) as regards shoeing. 
        
        SCIMITAR  (M. Narredu) MUSIC ON DEMAND (Shakti Singh) and  VIOLET 
        HONEY  (A. Imran Khan) could not get a clear run soon  after  the 
        start due to crowding of the field
        
        STAR  PRESENTATION (Y.S. Srinath) sustained a cut injury on  left 
        hind fetlock. 
        
        JERSEY  POWER  (D. Gnaneshwar) sustained an injury on  left  hind 
        tendon. 






        
        Jockey M. Narredu, the rider of SCIMITAR, placed II by the  Judge 
        objected against Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of STAR PRESENTA-
        TION placed I for "drifting sharply from the last 200 Metres  and 
        not  permitting to ride out my horse in the last 50 Metres  which 
        cost  me the race. In the last 100 Metres Jockey Srinath  whipped 
        me  twice."  The Stewards held an enquiry immediately  after  the 
        race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned.  After  deliberations 
        they decided to overrule the objection.                              
        
        Jockey  Y.S. Srinath, the rider of STAR PRESENTATION,  was  fined 
        Rs.5,000/-  for the extravagant use of the whip whereby he  could 
        not  exercise sufficient control over his mount in the  last  100 
        Metres. 
        
        4th Race:    36. The Speaker's Cup - (About) 1400 Metres.  
         8 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 85. 
        
        WAR HEAD (H.G. Rathod) was slow into stride and lost some  ground 
        in the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Sharat  Kumar 
        was  informed  that he must not accept with it  again  until  its 
        behaviour  improved to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
        wards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day. 
        
        Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of COMPTON STAR reported that his 
        mount  suddenly  shied away approaching the 300 Metres  and  lost 
        some ground.  
        
        The  Stipendiary Stewards questioned trainer Mr.  Darius  Byramji 
        and  Jockey C. Alford regarding the running and riding of  ARCHI-
        PENKO.  The  trainer stated that after considering its  last  run 
        during  the  Winter Meeting where it ran on from  the  front  and 
        faded  of towards the end thereby he specifically instructed  the 
        rider to ride his charge in check and ride out only after  enter-
        ing the straight. He added that the rider had fully followed  his 
        riding instructions and that he was satisfied with his riding. He 
        said that similar instructions would be given in future also. The 
        rider  corroborating  the  statement of the  trainer  as  regards 
        riding instructions added that when he asked for an effort  after 
        entering  the straight his mount did not accelerate  well.  Their 
        explanations were noted.  
        
        5th Race:     37. The Dharmaprakasha L.S.Venkaji Rao Memorial 
         6 Runners    Cup-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above. 
        
        Trainer  Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.10,000/- by the  Ste-
        wards  for accepting his charge BIG B in the above  race  without 
        showing  it in a Mock Race when it had been specifically  advised 
        to do so after the run in Race No.200 of Bangalore Winter Meeting 
        2007-08  where  the horse ran detached from the field  after  the 
        behaviour  of  the  horse in its last run.  Subsequently  it  was 
        permitted to be withdrawn. 
        
        Jockey  D.K. Ashish, the rider of STYLISH BAY, reported that  his 
        mount  was hanging `in' in the straight. Trainer Mr.  S.  Narredu 
        was  informed  to  get it checked by his  Veterinarian  and  take 
        appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  A.  Imran  Khan, the rider of BADGE OF  GOLD,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race. 
        
        






        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  JERSEY 
        PRIDE. 
        
        6th Race:    38. The Bhishma Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. 
        10 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
        
        HOLLYWOOD  GIRL (Shakti Singh) planted and lost many  lengths  at 
        the  start.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Dominic  was 
        informed  that  he must not accept with it again  until  its  be-
        haviour  improved tothe satisfaction of the Stipendiary  Stewards 
        in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
        Jockey  P.S.  Chouhan, the rider of BLACK  SPLENDOUR,  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/-  for  coming `in' and causing severe  interference  to 
        MIGHTY  HEART (D. Gnaneshwar) on his inside approaching  the  300 
        Metres. 
                                       
        7th Race:     39. The Divine Light Plate-(About) 1200 Metres.  
                      Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only. (Horses who
                      (have  run at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        Due  to heavy down pour and poor visibility, the above  race  was 
        cancelled by the Stewards.

        2nd Race:     19. The Heir Apparent Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1100  
         9 Runners    Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
                      second,  third  or  fourth  even  once  ineligible)
                      (Terms).
        
        The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported Jockey Harish, the  rider  of 
        LOTUS LEAF to the Stewards for violation of Calendar Notification 
        under  the heading "Alcohol Testing of Riders" in that he  failed 
        to  be  present  before the Medical Officer  of  the  Club  after 
        agreeing to do so by signing the intimation letter.  The Stewards 
        held  an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey  Har-
        ish.  After  deliberations, the Stewards decided to  suspend  the 
        Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Harish from 7-6-2008 to  14-6-
        2008 (both days inclusive) for violation of Calendar Notification 
        "Alcohol Testing of Riders" in not presenting himself before  the 
        Medical  Officer of the Club for Breathlyser Test  (permitted  to 
        ride work).
