        1st Race:    40. The Doncaster Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. 
         9 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 25, 4,5 and 6 years old.
        
        Permission  was  granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh  to  withdraw 
        FLYING JET on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from  fever. 
        He  was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate  from 
        the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
        REPLENISH  (R. Ravi) planted and lost many lengths at the  start. 
        In  view of its behaviour, trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was  informed 
        that  he  must not accept with it again until its  behaviour  im-
        proved  to  the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
        Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
        
        Jockey  D.  Gnaneshwar, the rider of TRAFALGAR  SQUARE,  reported 
        that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres  due 
        to a tightly packed field. 
        
        Jockey  P.S.  Chouhan,  the  rider of WORD  TO  WORD,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (1st infringement).
        
        ZIGGY  STARDUST  (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) burst  its  blood  vessels 
        after  the  race. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed  that  he 
        must  produce  a Fitness Certificate from the  Club's  Veterinary 
        Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
        2nd Race:    41. The Baraloy Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses 
         8 Runners    rated 20 to 45.
        
        Jockey  Y.S. Srinath, the rider of ALL MY COLOURS, reported  that 
        his  mount  was hanging `out' in the straight.   Trainer  Mr.  S. 
        Ganapathy was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian  and 
        take  appropriate  corrective measures before accepting  with  it 
        again. 
        
        After  due enquiry, Jockey Y.S. Srinath was fined Rs.5,000/-  for 
        his  carelessness pertaining to  "weighing in" in respect of  his 
        mount ALL MY COLOURS.
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ALL MY 
        COLOURS.
                                        
        3rd Race:     42. The Glorious Colours Plate-(About) 1400 Metres.  
         9 Runners    Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only. (Horses who
                      (have  run at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to  withdraw 
        FELICITAD  on veterinary grounds as it had sustained a  deep  cut 
        injury  on  left knee.  He was informed that he  must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 






        
        LADY  OF LIGHT (S. Chandrashekar) jumped out awkwardly  from  the 
        gates. 
        
        CARLITO  (Ryan  Marshall) swerved towards inside soon  after  the 
        start  thereby inconveniencing EXCELLENT ABILITY (Suraj  Narredu) 
        on its inside.
        
        STAR  MUSTANG (Shakti Singh) was observed to be hanging  `in'  in 
        the  straight.   Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to  get  it 
        checked  by  his  Veterinarian and  take  appropriate  corrective 
        measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  Ryan  Marshall, the rider of CARLITO, reported  that  his 
        mount was not inclined to gallop fluently during the race and ran 
        detached  from the field. In view of its behaviour,  trainer  Mr. 
        S.S.  Attaollahi  was informed that he must not  accept  with  it 
        again  until  its behaviour improved to the satisfaction  of  the 
        Stipendiary  Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the  race 
        track. 
                                       
        4th Race:    43. The Karnataka Cup (Grade III) - (About) 1600  
         7 Runners    Metres. For 4 and 5 years old (Terms). 
        
        Trainer  Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for making an  error 
        in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge LIONHEART. 
        
        KHALEELS PRIDE (Ch.K. Chary) was extremely fractious and  refused 
        to  be stalled.  Under the circumstances it was permitted  to  be 
        withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.
        
        Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following  I, 
        II and III placed horses viz:

        Due to heavy rain rendering the race track not condusive for rac-
        ing, the Stewards decided to cancel the 5th, 6th and 7th races of 
        the day.

                                ADDITIONAL REPORT
        
                         4th Day, Sunday, 25th May, 2008
        
        Race No.26.  The Ministerial Trophy-(About) 1400 Metres.
        Maiden  Indian  horses 3 years old only (Horses who have  run  at 
        least  thrice  but not placed second, third or fourth  even  once 
        ineligible)
        
             The  Stipendairy Stewards reported Jockey Y.S. Srinath,  the 
        rider  of  NOBLE VIEW to the Stewards for careless  riding  (Rule 
        No.161(i)) in that soon after the start he came `in' sharply  and 
        caused  severe interference to  SANQUSAR (Suraj Narredu)  on  his 
        inside which stumbled thereby momentarily unbalancing the  rider. 
        The  Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Sunday,  1st 
        June  2008 and examined Jockeys Y.S. Srinath and  Suraj  Narredu.  
        After deliberations, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey's 
        Licence  granted  to Jockey Srinath from 11-6-2008  to  18-6-2008 
        (both days inclusive) for careless riding (Rule No.161(i)) on his 
        mount NOBLE VIEW in the above race (permitted to ride work).
