        1st Race:   88. The Commanche Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres 
         8 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have run at least thrice but not placed second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        As  Jockey  Shakti Singh was certified medically unfit  to  ride, 
        permission  was granted to trainer Mr. Karan Singh to  substitute 
        Jockey S. Babu to ride ASTRONOMER ROYAL in place of Jockey Shakti 
        Singh the declared rider. 
        
        Jockey  N.M.  Sequeira,  the rider of  GREAT  HONOUR,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference to  LEOPAR-
        DINO  (M.  Narredu) on his inside which in turn passed it  on  to 
        AVELINE (C. Alford) before passing the red marker post. 
        
        UNIQUE  DIAMOND (K. Narasimha) ran detached from the  field.   In 
        view of its behaviour trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed  that 
        he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved  to 
        the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race  on 
        a race day on the race track.
        
        2nd Race:    89. The Bergamo Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. 
         9 Runners    For horses rated 20 to 45. 
        
        GRISRAPIDE  (P.S.  Chouhan) jumped awkwardly  outwards  from  the 
        gates  and inconvenienced MY PRECIOUS GIRL (S. Babu) on the  out-
        side which in turn passed it on to SENSATIONAL BAY (Shanth Kumar) 
        on the far side soon after the start. 
        
        CHAILA BABU (M.D. Praveen) planted in the starting gates and took 
        no  practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour  trainer 
        Mr.  Karan  Singh was informed that he must not  accept  with  it 
        again  until  its behaviour improved to the satisfaction  of  the 
        Stipendiary  Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the  race 
        track.  
        
        MY  PRECIOUS GIRL (S. Babu) ran detached from the field. In  view 
        of  its  behaviour trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed  that  he 
        must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the 
        satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race  on  a 
        race day on the race track.  
        
        Jockey  Shanth  Kumar,  the rider of SENSATIONAL  BAY  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for travelling all the way on the outside of the field 
        for no apparent reason. 
        
        Jockey  Suraj Narredu, the rider of GLORIOUS  PRINCESS,  reported 
        that his mount was hanging `in' throughout the race.  Trainer Mr. 
        Faraz  Arshad was informed to get it checked by his  Veterinarian 
        and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it 
        again. 
        
        Jockey  P.S.  Chouhan  the  rider  of  GRIS  RAPIDE,  was   fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (2nd infringement).
   
        After  the  race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported  that  on 
        examination  PRECIOUS GIRL (S. Babu) was observed to  have  sharp 
        molars  on  either side of the jaw. Trainer Mr. Karan  Singh  was 
        informed  take necessary remedial measures before accepting  with 
        it again. 
        
        RUDIMENTARY (K. Narasimha) sustained a gum injury.
        
        3rd Race:    90. The M. Ali Asker Memorial Trophy - Div.II- 
         8 Runners    (About) 1200 Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65.
        
        Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to  substitute 
        Jockey  S. Babu to ride NOBLE KINGDOM in place of  Jockey  Shakti 
        Singh, the declared rider. 
        
        SUNNY  BABA  (D. Gnaneshwar) burst its blood vessels  during  the 
        race. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce 
        a  Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  R.  Umesh,  the rider of DASH ON  REGARDLESS,  was  fined 
        Rs,1,000/-  for travelling wide after passing the 900 Metres  for 
        no apparent reason. 
        
        Jockey Harish, the rider of TOOFAN EXPRESS, was fined  Rs.1,000/-
        for easing his mount in the last 200 Metres. 
        
        TOOFAN EXPRESS (Harsih) sustained a gum injury.  
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ORIGI-
        NALITY.
        
        4th Race:    91. The Beautiful Babe Plate -(About) 1400 Metres. 
        10 Runners    For Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 and 6 years old.
        
        Permission  was granted to trainer Mr. N.A. Ponnappa to  withdraw 
        GUN FIRE  on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right hind  due 
        to  inflammed hoof.  He was informed that he must produce a  Fit-
        ness  Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before  ac-
        cepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  Ch.K.Chary,  the  declared rider of  ECUADOR,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/- for failing to arrive to fulfill his riding engagement 
        for  the day. Subsequently permission was granted to trainer  Mr. 
        Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey N.M. Sequeira to ride  ECUADOR 
        in place of Jockey Ch.K. Chary the declared rider. 
        
        Jockey  S.  Chandrashekar,  the  rider  of  HIDALGO,  was   fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for not exercising sufficient control over his  mount 
        thereby allowing it to drift out in the 200 Metres. 
        
        Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of STAR NEWS, was fined  Rs.3,000/- 
        for  the excessive use of the whip on his mount during  the  race 
        (2nd infringement).
        
        Jockey  V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of SUNNY CONNEXION,  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (2nd infringement).
        
        Surprise  Sample  was  taken for analysis from the  winner  br  m 
        KANDIATE. 
                
        5th Race:   92. The Commanche Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres 
         8 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have run at least thrice but not placed second,

        DANDIYA (R. Umesh) jumped out awkwardly from the gates. 
        
        Jockey  M. Ravi, the rider of STAR MUSTANG, was fined  Rs.1,000/- 
        for travelling wide from 900 Metres for no apparent reason. 
        
        Jockey  K.  Narasimha, the rider of ELUSIVE  WARRIOR,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race. 
        
        6th Race:    93. The Regency Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400
         8 Runners    Metres. For Horses rated 60 to 85, 4, 5 and 6 years
                      old.
        
        ATTAIN (B. Mahesh) jumped awkwardly from the gates. 
        
        FLAMING  LAMBORGINI (M. Narredu) jumped awkwardly  outwards  from 
        the gates. 
        
        SCIMITAR (Suraj Narredu) jumped out awkwardly from the gates. 
        
        Jockey S.R. Santosh Kumar, the rider of SOBERANO, was reprimanded 
        in  the  presence of trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala for riding  in  an 
        incompetent manner.  He was further informed that he should  make 
        every effort to improve his riding in future. 
        
        Rouine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b r  WESTERN 
        COMMAND. 
        
        7th Race:    94. The Colts Trial Stakes (Grade I) (About) 1600
        11 Runners    Metres. 
        
        Jockey  C.  Alford, the rider of ARCHIPENKO, placed  2nd  by  the 
        Judge objected against Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of  FLEETING 
        ARROW  placed 1st for "in the final 300 Metres when I came  along 
        side FLEETING ARROW the horse has taken my ground and also bumped 
        me  thrice.  Jockey Appu has also hit my horse with his  whip  in 
        the  final 20 Metres when I had a clear run I have again  gained, 
        ground and therefore cost me a certain race" The Stewards held an 
        enquiry  immediately after the race and interviewed  the  Jockeys 
        concerned.   After deliberations, they decided to over  rule  the 
        objection.
        
        Jockey  K.P.G.  Appu,  the  rider of  FLEETING  ARROW  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the last  150 
        Metres. 
        
        Jockey  K.P.G.  Appu,  the  rider of  FLEETING  ARROW  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/-  for the extravagant manner of use of the whip on  his 
        mount during the race. 
        
        Jockey  K.P.G.  Appu,  the  rider of  FLEETING  ARROW  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/- for exulting even before passing the winning post. 
        
        Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following  I,

        Permission  was granted to trainer Mr. Karan Singh to  substitute 
        Jockey S. Babu to ride SPECIAL GESTURE in place of Jockey  Shakti 
        Singh, the declared rider. 
        
        Jockey  K.P.G. Appu, the rider of SOUND OF NATURE, reported  that 
        his mount was hanging `in' after entering the straight.   Trainer 
        Mr. L.D'Silva was informed to get it checked by his  Veterinarian 
        and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it 
        again. 
        
        9th Race:    96. The Regency Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400
         8 Runners    Metres. For Horses rated 60 to 85, 4, 5 and 6 years
                      old.
        
        INDY  ROYAL  (S. Selvaraj) walked out of the  gates,  refused  to 
        raise a gallop and did not take part in the race.  In view of its 
        behaviour trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must not 
        accept  with it again until its behaviour improved to the  satis-
        faction  of  the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races  on  race 
        days on the race track. 
        
        WELCOME BACK (B. Mahesh) burst its blood vessels during the race.  
        Trainer  Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MASQUE-
        NADA.
