        1st Race:   47. The Buck Passer Plate-Div.II-(About) 1100 Metres 
        10  Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only  (Horses  who
                      have  run  atleast thrice but  not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        TREND  TRACKER  (Ryan Marshall) was extremely  fractious  in  the 
        gates and refused to remain in the stall. Hence it was  withdrawn 
        before coming under Starters Orders. 
        
        Jockey  Ch.K.  Chary,  the rider of RED  RIVER  REBEL  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference to  RUNNING 
        SPLENDOUR (V.R. Jagadeesh) and ARTISTIC EMPEROR (D.K. Ashish)  on 
        his inside before passing the red marker post.
        
        Jockey  V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of RUNNING  SPLENDOUR  reported 
        that  his  mount drifted out badly after  entering  the  straight 
        despite his efforts to keep it on an even course.  In view of its 
        behaviour trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to get it  checked 
        by his Veterinarian, take appropriate corrective measures and not 
        to  accept  with  it again until its behaviour  improved  to  the 
        satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race  on  a 
        race day on the race track. 
        
        Jockey  Ch.K.  Chary,  the rider of RED  RIVER  REBEL  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (1st infringement). 
        
        BORN TO SHINE (Md. Shafiq) sustained a cut injury on right hock. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  POWER 
        TO FIGHT. 
        
        2nd Race:    48. The Star Supreme Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. 
         9 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
        
        ORIENTATION (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels after the race.  
        Trainer  Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        LET THE RIVER RUN (D. Gnaneshwar) stood flat footed in the  gates 
        and  lost  a few lengths at the start. In view of  its  behaviour 
        trainer  Neil Darashah was informed that he must not accept  with 
        it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of  the 
        Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate  practice 
        day. 
        
        Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was questioned regarding the relative-
        ly poor performance of his charge HILL OF GRACE (Wayne Smith)  in 
        the above race. The trainer stated that based on its last run  he 
        expected his horse to perform well but was thoroughly disappoint-
        ed at its run and only explanation was he could think of that the 
        horse  was  probably  could not get the trip and  that  he  would 
        prefer  to run it over 1200 Metres or 1400 Metres next time  out. 
        His explanations were noted. 






        
        The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Kishore Kadam, the rider 
        of  ATTATURK to the Stewards for careless riding(Rule  No.161(i)) 
        on  his  mount in the above race in that passing  300  Metres  he 
        allowed his mount to drift out badly and caused severe  interfer-
        ence  to  LET THE RIVER RUN (D. Gnaneshwar) on his  outside.  The 
        Stewards  held  an enquiry after the last  race  and  interviewed 
        Jockeys  Kishore Kadam and D. Gnaneshwar.   After  deliberations, 
        they decided to suspend Jockey Kishore Kadam from riding in races 
        from  17-6-2008 to 19-6-2008 (both days inclusive)  for  careless 
        riding  (Rule No.161(i)) on his mount ATTATURK in the above  race 
        (permitted to ride work). 
        
        3rd Race:    49. The R.S.Nagendra Kumar Memorial Trophy-Div.II- 
        10 Runners    (About) 1200 Metres, horses rated 40 to 65, 4,5   &
                      6 years old. 
        
        SUDDEN  THUNDER  (L. Marshall) refused to raise a  fluent  gallop 
        after  the start and ran detached from the field. In view of  its 
        behaviour trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must not 
        accept  with it again until its behaviour improved to the  satis-
        faction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on  a  race 
        day on the race track. 
        
        Approaching the 800 Metres  POWERFULDREAMS (A. Imran Khan)  which 
        was  fiercely galloping behind ENFORCER (Shobhan Babu) had to  be 
        checked  by  its  rider to avoid striking the  front  runner  and 
        shifted out thereby taking out SUNNY LAND (P.S. Chouhan) and DOCK 
        OF BAY (Vinod Shinde) on the outside.
        
        4th Race:   50. The Buck Passer Plate-Div.I-(About) 1100 Metres 
        12 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  atleast thrice but  not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        ARAGON  (R. Biramne) ran detached from the field. In view of  its 
        behaviour trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must not 
        accept  with it again until its behaviour improved to the  satis-
        faction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on  a  race 
        day on the race track. 
        
        Jockey  M.F. Ali Khan, the rider of STANDING OVATION,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for  coming  `out' and causing  interference  to  SUN 
        DEVICE (J.H. Christopher) on his outside soon after the start.
        
        The  Stipendiary Stewards questioned trainer Mr. S.  Dominic  and 
        Jockey K.P.G.Appu for the running and riding of MUSIC FOREVER  in 
        the  above race. The trainer stated that (a) this horse  had  the 
        habit of running out in its previous runs; (b) therefore he  used 
        hanging bit on his charge and ran it in a Mock Race where it  had 
        behaved  well;  (c)  today he instructed the rider  to  keep  his 
        charge  in  2nd or 3rd position and if nobody went to  the  front 
        then to ride it in front and do his best in the straight; (d)  in 
        this race PLEASURING  (Y.S. Srinath) was galloping fiercely along 
        side  his charge from the word go and this being an  1100  Metres 
        race  he  could  not take much exception to  the  riding  tactics  
        adopted by Jockey Appu. The rider stated that he had worked  this 
        horse  during morning track work where it had performed well  and 
        that he himself was shocked at its poor performance wherein   his 
        mount  petered out gradually after entering the  straight.  Their 
        explanations were noted. 
        
        






        
        
        PLEASURING (Y.S. Srinath) burst its blood vessels after the race.  
        Trainer  Mr.  S. Ganapathy was informed that he  must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g MUSIC FOREVER. 
        
        5th Race:   51. The Southern Regent Trophy-(About) 1400 Metres 
        12 Runners   Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  atleast thrice but  not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        MYWAY  OR NOWAY (Vinay Jaiswal) ran detached from the  field.  In 
        view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that 
        he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved  to 
        the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race  on 
        a race day on the race track. 
        
        SYNCHRONIZE  (Shakti Singh) ran detached from the field. In  view 
        of  its  behaviour trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed  that  he 
        must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the 
        satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race  on  a 
        race day on the race track. 
        
        It was observed before the start of the race that the Hanging Bit 
        of  SUPER  SHA  was not properly fastened due  to  its  defective 
        nature.  Subsequently  it was rectified before the start  of  the 
        race. After due enquiry Trainer Mr. S. Singh was fined Rs.2,000/- 
        for using a faulty equipment.
        
        CLOUSEAU (M. Narredu) sustained a cut injury on right hock. 
        
        SPARK  OF GOLD (Vivek) sustained a cut injury on right hind  can-
        non. 
        
        Jockey M. Narredu, the rider of CLOUSEAU, reported that his mount 
        was hanging out in the straight. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi  was 
        informed  to get it checked by his Veterinarian and  take  appro-
        priate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  M.F.  Ali  Khan, the rider of  COLLEGE  GIRL,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/-  for weighing out late due to which the horse  arrived 
        late  to  the  paddock and also for  violating  pre-race  paddock 
        formality.
        
        6th Race:    52. The R.S.Nagendra Kumar Memorial Trophy-Div.I- 
        10 Runners    (About) 1200 Metres, horses rated 40 to 65, 4,5   &
                      6 years old. 
        
        Jockey  S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of CALLISTA, reported  that  he 
        could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the  starting 
        gates due to crowding of the field. 
        
        Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of AFEA reported that his  saddle 
        shifted back soon after jumping out of the starting gates and  he 
        could  not exercise sufficient control over his mount during  the 
        race   After  due  examination of the equipment  after  the  race 
        Trainer  Mr. Darius Byramji was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty  sad-
        dling. 
        
        






        The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Vinod Shinde, the  rider 
        of  BEE  THE  STAR  to  the  Stewards  for  careless  riding(Rule 
        No.161(i))  on  his mount in the above race in that  passing  300 
        Metres he allowed his mount to drift out badly and caused  severe 
        interference  to  ACT  SMART (L. Marshall) on  his  outside.  The 
        Stewards  held  an enquiry after the last  race  and  interviewed 
        Jockeys Vinod Shinde and L. Marshall.  After deliberations,  they 
        decided to suspend Jockey Vinod Shinde from riding in races  from 
        17-6-2008 to 22-6-2008 (both days inclusive) for careless  riding 
        (Rule  No.161(i))  on his mount BEE THE STAR in  the  above  race 
        (permitted to ride work). 
        
        Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis from the winner  b  f  EL 
        GORDO 
        
        7th Race: 53. The K.N. Guruswamy Memorial Cup -(About) 1800
         7 Runners    Metres. For horses rated 80 and above.
        
        Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for making an error  in 
        the  starting declaration as regards the name in respect  of  his 
        charge GUIDED MISSILE.
        
        Jockey  B.  Prakash,  the  rider  of  WONDER  SMILE,  was   fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for not following the pre-race parade formalities  in 
        front of the stands. 
        
        The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported Jockey Vivek,  the  rider  of 
        ROYAL  AMBASSADOR  to  the Stewards  for  improper  riding  (Rule 
        No.161(i)) on his mount in the above race in that for no apparent 
        reason  he shifted out thereby taking out SOUTHERN CHARGE  (Wayne 
        Smith)  on his outside passing 450 Metres. The Stewards  held  an 
        enquiry  after  the last race and interviewed Jockeys  Vivek  and  
        Wayne Smith. After deliberations, they decided to suspend  Jockey 
        Vivek from riding in races from 17-6-2008 to 22-6-2008 (both days 
        inclusive)  and  fine him Rs.5,000/- for  improper  riding  (Rule 
        No.161(i))  on  his  mount ROYAL AMBASSADOR  in  the  above  race 
        (permitted to ride work).  
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f  ANGE-
        LIQUE.  
        
        8th Race:    54. The Sir M.Visvesvaraya Memorial Trophy - (About)
        12 Runners    1400 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, 4,5  &
                      6 years old. 
        
        Jockey  Vinod  Shinde, the rider of MILAGRO,  reported  that  his 
        mount was hanging `in' in the straight.  Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghata-
        la  was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian  and  take 
        appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        An  enquiry is being held into the running and riding of  MILAGRO 
        trained by Mr. Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey Vinod Shinde in 
        the above race.
        
        9th Race:    55. The Manoli Stud Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
        12 Runners    For horses rated 60 to 85, 4,5  & 6 years old.

                                ADDITIONAL REPORT
        
             Based on the note submitted by the Starter dated  28-5-2008, 
        the  Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. B.  Prithviraj  to 
        the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification  pertain-
        ing to "carrying of Identification Saddle Cloth" in that on 27-5-
        2008  he brought his charge ch rig ACTION HERO for  the  Starting 
        Gate  Practice  with a wrong Track Number. The Stewards  held  an 
        enquiry after the last race on Saturday, 7th June 2008 and inter-
        viewed trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj and also Starter Mr. K.S.  Shan-
        mukhaswamy.   After  deliberations, they decided to  suspend  the 
        trainer's licence granted to Mr. B. Prithviraj from 17-6-2008  to 
        16-9-2008  (both  days inclusive) for violation of  BTC  Calendar 
        Notification under the heading "carrying of Identification Saddle 
        Cloth  with  numbers on horses on the tracks or any part  of  the 
        premises of the Race Course" in respect of his charge ACTION HERO 
        on 27-5-2008.

        ineligible)
        
             The  Stipendairy Stewards reported Jockey Y.S. Srinath,  the 
        rider  of  NOBLE VIEW to the Stewards for careless  riding  (Rule 
        No.161(i))  in that passing 1100 Metres he came `in' sharply  and 
        caused  interference  to NEEL GAGAN (D.K. Ashish) on  his  inside 
        which  in  turn passed it on to SHOOT A RAINBOW  (Ryan  Marshall) 
        along the rails. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race 
        on  Saturday,  7th June 2008 and examined Jockeys  Y.S.  Srinath, 
        Ashish  and  Ryan  Marshall. After  deliberations,  the  Stewards 
        decided to suspend Jockey Y.S. Srinath from riding in races  from 
        19-6-2008 to 21-6-2008 (both days inclusive) for careless  riding 
        (Rule  No.161(i))  on  his mount NOBLE VIEW  in  the  above  race 
        (permitted to ride work).

        248. The Leading Tipster Trophy-Div.II-(About)  1400 Metres.  For 
                             Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
             Trainer  Mr. S. Britto and Jockey A.R. Many were  questioned 
        regarding the running and riding of KING OF GOOD TIMES. After due 
        enquiry  and after viewing the CCTV replay of the above  race  as 
        also  Race Nos.188 & 79 of the Bangalore Winter  Meeting  2007-08  
        wherein  the  said horse participated and  also  considering  the 
        Veterinary  report submitted by the Club's Veterinary Officer  in 
        respect  of  the  above horse after the  race,  the  explanations 
        tendered by the trainer and the Jockey were noted.
