        1st Race:     130. The Pune Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. For
         9 Runners    horses rated 00 to 25.
        
        Jockey B. Mukesh, the rider of ENFORCEMENT, was fined  Rs.2,000/- 
        for  shifting  `in' and causing interference  to  ASPIRING  SEVEN 
        (V.R.Jagadeesh) on his inside approaching the 350 Metres. 
        
        Jockey  B.  Sreekanth, the rider of EVERYTHING  NICE,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference to  BULLISH 
        LUCK (S. Ramesh) on his inside approaching the 700 Metres.
        
        BULLISH  LUCK (S. Ramesh) sustained bleeding injury on left  fore 
        cannon.  
        
        2nd Race:     131. The Delhi Cup - Div.II - (About) 1600 Metres
        10 Runners    For horses rated 20 to 45, 4, 5 & 6 years old. 
        
        Jockey  Ms  Lisa  Jone, the rider of WIN  PRETTYBABY,  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for the excessive, extravagant and improper use of the 
        whip on her mount during the race. 
        
        MAJOR ASSET (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained a gum injury. 
        
        Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis from the winner b  f  WIN 
        PRETTYBABY.
        
        3rd Race:     132. The S.N.Harish Memorial Trophy - (About) 1400  
         8  Runners    Metres.  Maiden Indian Horses  3  years  old  only
                        (Horses  who  have run at least  thrice  but  not
                        placed second, third or fourth even once ineligi-
                        ble.)
        
        Trainer  Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined Rs.500/- for failing to  pro-
        duce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his  charge 
        DESERT  RULE (Suraj Narredu). Subsequently `all black'  emergency 
        colours were permitted to be used. 
        
        Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of FLY FREE, reported that  he 
        could  not get a clear run approaching the 1300 Metres due  to  a 
        closely packed field. 
        
        Jockey  J.H.  Christopher,  the  rider of  FLY  FREE,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (1st infringement). 
        
        THE  SPARTAN (Wayne Smith) was examined after the race and  found 
        to be trotting lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was 
        informed  that  he must  produce a Fitness Certificate  from  the 
        Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
        After  the  race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported  that  on 
        examination  it was observed that the left fore shoe of KYLES  OF 
        BUTE had apparently splayed during the race.
        
        Trainer  Mr.  Narayana Gowda was questioned  regarding  the  poor 
        performance  of his charge SUPER SPEAR in the above  race.  While 
        noting  his explanations, he was cautioned to be more prudent  in 
        selection of races for his charge in future. 
        
        An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of KYLES  OF 
        BUTE   trained by Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar and ridden by  Jockey  C. 
        Alford.
         
        4th Race:    133. The Classical Act Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 65.
        
        JOIN  THE PARTY (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels  after  the 
        race.  Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of BILLY BLACKJACK, was repri-
        manded for travelling wide throughout the race.
        
        Jockey A. Himandshu, the rider of SMART N SPECIAL, was reprimand-
        ed for travelling wide throughout the race.
        
        LITTLE SPLENDOUR (P.S. Chouhan) sustained an injury on right fore 
        cannon.
        
        5th Race:     134. The Maharaja's Cup-(Grade II) - (About) 2200 
        13 Runners    Metres. For 4 years old and over (Terms). 
        
        As  Jockey  Aadesh Kumar was certified medically unfit  to  ride, 
        permission  was granted to trainer Mr. Nosher Cama to  substitute 
        Jockey  Amyn  Merchant to ride GRUEZI in place of  Jockey  Aadesh 
        Kumar, the declared rider. 
        
        RUBY QUEEN (M. Narredu) burst its blood vessels during the  race.  
        Trainer Mr. K.S.V. Prasad Raju was informed that he must  produce 
        a  Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        SOUTHERN  EMPIRE  (B.Prakash) sustained an injury  on  left  hind 
        tendon. 
        
        ALEKONA (Suraj Narredu) sustained an injury on right hock. 
        
        Approaching the 600 Metres Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of SOUTH-
        ERN  EMPIRE,  shifted out forcing the passage of  ALEKONA  (Suraj 
        Narredu) on his outside. 
        
        After  the  race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported  that  on 
        examination the right hind shoe of MOTHER'S PRIDE had  apparently 
        splayed during the race. 
        
        Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following  I, 
        II and III placed horses viz:

        6th Race:     135. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Trophy - Div.I -
        11 Runners    (About) 1400 Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65, 
                      4, 5  & 6 years old. 
        
        Trainer  Mr.  Neil Darashah was fined  Rs.2,000/-  for  declaring 
        Jockey  G.Y. Rajesh Babu to ride his charge  BADGE OF  HONOR  who 
        was  under suspension. Subsequently he was permitted  to  declare 
        Jockey J.E. Pereira to ride his charge.  
        
        Approaching  the 1000 Metres GAME OF LIFE (Gautam Raj Urs)  which 
        was  racing fiercely behind THE CONTENDER (Suraj Narredu) had  to 
        be  checked and shifted `in' to avoid striking the front  runner. 
        In  the  process it bumped AFGHAN (Amyn Merchant) on  the  inside 
        slightly  behind  which in turn shifted out and  bumped  SURPRISE 
        PACKAGE (D. Gnaneshwar) on the outside which in turn passed it on 
        to  ASTOUNDING  BLUE  (C. Alford) on the far side. As  it  was  a 
        closely packed field, no blame could be attributed to any partic-
        ular rider in the race, the incident was noted.
        
        7th Race:   136. The Paddiwick Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.Maiden 
        11 Runners    Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run
                      at least thrice but not placed second, third or 
                      fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
        
        SHEER  GOLD ( V.R. Jagadeesh) jumped awkwardly outwards from  the 
        starting gates.
        
        REIGNING  MONARCH  (K. Narasimha) shied away from the  rails  ap-
        proaching  the  800 Metres thereby inconveniencing  ANNA'S  QUEST 
        (Ryan Marshall) on its inside. 
        
        Jockey  M.  Narredu, the rider of ZAFFARANI was  reprimanded  for 
        inconveniencing NEEL GAGAN (S. Rajesh) on his outside approaching 
        the 200 Metres. 
        
        Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of SCRAMJET,reported that his mount 
        was  inclined  to run out rounding the final bend.   Trainer  Mr. 
        J.S. Dhariwal was informed to get it checked by his  Veterinarian 
        and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it 
        again. 
        
        Jockey  Suraj  Narredu, the rider of  GIFTOFACHIEVEMENT  reported 
        that  his mount was hanging `in' in the straight. Trainer Mr.  S. 
        Narredu  was informed to get it checked by his  Veterinarian  and 
        take  appropriate  corrective measures before accepting  with  it 
        again. 
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f  SHE'S 
        SPECTACULAR. 
        
        8th Race:     137. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Trophy - Div.II -
        10 Runners    (About) 1400 Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65,
                      4, 5  & 6 years old. 
        
        BASTIAN  BAY  was extremely fractious and refused to be  stalled.  
        Hence it was withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.   In 
        view  of  its behaviour he was informed that he must  not  accept 
        with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of 
        the  Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day  on  the 
        race track. 
   
        EXCELLENT SPEED (Suraj Narredu) sustained an injury on right hind 
        cannon. 
        
        An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of CIBONEY 
        trained by Mr. J.S. Dhariwal and ridden by Jockey M. Narredu.
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g  SNOB 
        VALUE.
