        1st Race:     147. The Sir Bruce Plate-(About) 1100 Metres
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms). 
        
                       As  Jockey  L. Marshall  was  certified  medically 
                  unfit  to ride, permission was granted to  trainer  Mr. 
                  J.S.  Dhariwal to substitute Jockey S.Chandrashekar  to 
                  ride  CHILLI CHOCOLATE in place of Jockey  L.  Marshall 
                  the declared rider. 
        
                       Jockey  S.  Chandrashekar,  the  rider  of  CHILLI 
                  CHOCOLATE,  was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in'  and 
                  causing interference to GRIS RAPIDE (D. Gnaneshwar)  on 
                  his inside approaching the 900 Metres. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f ONE. 
        
        2nd Race:     148. The Treasure Girl Plate-(About) 1400 Metres
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms). 
        
                       Trained Mr. Faraz Arshad was fined Rs.2,000/-  for 
                  inordinate  delay  for  bringing  his  charge  GLORIOUS 
                  PRINCESS to the paddock. 
        
        3rd Race:     149. The Confucious Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. 
        10 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
             
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar 
                  to  withdraw THE ROLLS on veterinary grounds as it  was 
                  lame  on  left  fore due to sprained  fetlock.  He  was 
                  informed  that  he must produce a  Fitness  Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
                       Permission  was granted to trainer Mr. Amit  Caddy 
                  to withdraw GIVE ME THE MONEY on veterinary grounds  as 
                  it  was lame on left fore due to sprained knee. He  was 
                  informed  that  he must produce a  Fitness  Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
                       Jockey  Vijay  Kumar the declared rider  of  CINDY 
                  GIRL  was  fined Rs.2,000/- for failing  to  arrive  to 
                  fulfill his riding engagement. Subsequently  permission 
                  was granted to trainer Mr. N.A. Ponnappa to  substitute 
                  Jockey Md. Shafiq to ride CINDY GIRL in place of Jockey 
                  Vijay Kumar. 
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh 
                  to  substitute  Jockey  Shakti Singh to  ride  WORTH  A 
                  MILLION  in  place of Jockey L. Marshall  the  declared 
                  rider.  
        
                       Jockey R. Ravi, the rider of TIKKUN OLAM, reported 
                  that he lost his whip approaching the 600 Metres. 
        
                       TIKKUN OLAM (R. Ravi) ran detached from the field. 
                  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. The 
                  Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on  examination 
                  at  4.40 p.m. the horse was found to be lame  on  right 
                  fore due to sprained tendon.  Trainer Mr. Faraz  Arshad 
                  was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
        4th Race:     150. The S.M. Ramakrishna Rao Memorial Cup - 
         6 Runners    (About) 2000 Metres. For Horses rated 80 and above.
        
                       Jockey  S.  Chandrashekar, the rider  of  RED  KEY 
                  POINT reported that the rubber bit on his mount snapped 
                  soon after the start and as such he had to ride without 
                  the aid of the equipment and could not offer any assis-
                  tance  to  his  mount throughout the  race.  After  due 
                  examination  of the equipment after the  race,  trainer 
                  Mr.  Sharat  Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/-  for  using  an 
                  unserviceable equipment. 
        
                       Jockey  Suraj  Narredu, the  rider  of  ANGELIQUE, 
                  reported  that  he  lost his  right  reins  momentarily 
                  approaching  the 400 Metres which he regained within  a 
                  few strides. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g COTSWOLD ARMS.
        
        5th Race:     151. The Nawab M.Arshad Ali Khan Memorial Cup -
         9 Runners    - (About) 1400 Metres. For 3 year old Indian Horses
                      (Foaled in 2005) (Terms).
        
                       Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.500/- for 
                  making an error in the declaration of weight in respect 
                  of his charge YOU'RE WONDERFUL. 
        
                       Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SAFARI, report-
                  ed  that  his mount was hanging `in' very  badly  after 
                  entering the straight and approaching the 100 Metres it 
                  brushed the false rails thereby momentarily   unbalanc-
                  ing him. 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar and Jockey S.  John 
                  were  questioned  regarding the running and  riding  of 
                  TOMSK in the above race.  The trainer stated that  this 
                  Jockey had won on his charge in all its last 3 runs and 
                  after  jointly discussing the riding  strategy  between 
                  themselves  he had told the Jockey to ride it  off  the 
                  pace  and  after entering the straight to come  on  the 
                  outside and ride out his mount. He added that in two of 
                  its  last runs the horse had relished being  ridden  in 
                  such  a manner and won the race, but today it  did  not 
                  perform  to their expectation. The  rider  corroborated 
                  the above statement of the trainer. Their  explanations 
                  were noted. 
        
             SAFARI sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f SAFARI. 
        
        6th Race:     152. The D.M. Shivaswamy Memorial Cup - Div.I - 
        12 Runners    (About) 1200 Metres. For Horses rated 40 to 65,  4,
                      5 and 6 years old.
        
                       REBELLIOUS (Suraj Narredu) stood flatfooted in the 
                  gates  and lost few lengths.  In view of its  behaviour 
                  trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must  not 
                  accept  with it again until its behaviour  improved  to 
                  the  satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
                  jump out on a starting gate practice day. 
        
                       Jockey Vivek, the rider of TINA'S TRIUMPH, report-
                  ed  that  he could not get a clear run soon  after  the 
                  start due to the crowding of the field. 
        
                       Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of OUR LANCER,  was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and causing  inter-
                  ference to NOBLE GUEST (C. Krishnan) on his inside soon 
                  after jumping out of the starting gates. 
        
                       KORPORATE  (M.D.  Praveen) ran detached  from  the 
                  field. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must 
                  not  accept with it again until its behaviour  improved 
                  to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in  one 
                  Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
                       Jockey  Ryan Marshall, the rider of CALLISTA,  was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/- for exulting before passing the  win-
                  ning post. 
        
                       GRAPHIC  DESIGN  sustained a cut  injury  on  left 
                  hock. 
        
        7th Race:     153. The Belmont Park Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. 
         9 Runners    For Horses rated 00 to 25.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.10,000/-  for 
                  failing  to declare his charge SOLITARY CHAMP to  start 
                  for this race after having accepted with it.
        
                       BUCK  PASSER JUNIOR (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs)  dropped 
                  the  rider  on the way to the gates and  ran  riderless 
                  right  round the course. Hence it was permitted  to  be 
                  withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders. 
        
                       ROYAL ARTIST (P.S. Chouhan) was very fractious and 
                  refused  to be stalled. Under the circumstances it  was 
                  permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's 
                  orders. 
        
                       RONKONKOMA (Ranjeet Singh) pulled up lame on right 
                  fore  after  the race.  Trainer Mr.  M.P.  Mahaesh  was 
                  informed  that  he must produce a  Fitness  Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
                       The  Stewards ordered and held an  enquiry   imme-
                  diately  after  the race into the running of  the  race 
                  with  particular reference to Jockey Y.S. Srinath,  the 
                  rider of TOUCH OF MAGIC, placed I for shifting `in' and 
                  inconveniencing  PRINCE  NORBERT (C. Krishnan)  on  his 
                  inside  passing the 200 Metres from the  winning  post.  
                  They interviewed Jockeys Y.S. Srinath and C.  Krishnan. 
                  After  deliberations, they decided to retain the  plac-
                  ings as originally declared by the Judge. 
        
                       Jockey  Y.S Srinath, the rider of TOUCH OF  MAGIC, 
                  was  fined  Rs.2,000/-  for  suddenly  changing  course 
                  towards the rails passing  the 200 Metres. 
        
        8th Race:     154. The D.M. Shivaswamy Memorial Cup - Div.II - 
        12 Runners    (About) 1200 Metres. For Horses rated 40 to 65,  4,
                      5 and 6 years old.
        
                       LOOK ALIKE (Md. Shafiq) jumped awkwardly  outwards 
                  from the gates and inconvenienced SEASONS GREETING  (P. 
                  Ramesh) on its outside.
