1st Race: 171. The Col.Rajkumar C. Desraj Urs Memorial Cup -
8 Runners Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.For Horses rated 40 to
65.
As Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh was certified medically
unfit to ride permission was granted to trainer Mr.
Mahmood Khan to substitute Jockey Vivek to ride MUDEER
POWER in place of Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh the declared
rider.
SHE'S SPECTACULAR (B. Sreekanth) jumped awkwardly
outwards and inconvenienced SPECIAL GESTURE (Y.S.
Srinath) on its outside soon after jumping out of the
starting gates.
DASH TO DASH (B.L. Paswan) sustained a cut injury
on right hind pastern.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the
winner b f FANAA.
2nd Race: 172. The Batu Gantong Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
12 Runners For Horses rated 00 to 25, 4,5 and 6 years old.
Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.500/- for
making an error in the starting declaration in respect
of his charge PRETTY N FAST as regards shoeing.
ANNA FLEETWOOD (A. Velu) (drawn 12)jumped inwards
and pushed in KING OF GOOD TIMES (Shakti Singh) (drawn
11) on the inside; at the same juncture SOUTHERN MAGIC
(J.H. Christopher) (drawn 6) jumped very awkwardly
outwards and pushed FIREY BUSINESS (S. Selvaraj)
(drawn 7) on its outside which in turn passed it on to
MISS MARVELOUS (Gaurav Sapra) (drawn 10) which in turn
inconvenienced KING OF GOOD TIMES (Shakti Singh) on
the far side at the start. In the process AAJ TAK
(C.Krishnan) (drawn 9) denied a clear run after jumping
out of gates.
SOUTHERN MAGIC (J.H. Christopher) took a fly jump.
FIREY BUSINESS (S. Selvaraj) sustained a cut
injury on left hind corronet.
Jockey Shakti Singh, the rider of KING OF GOOD
TIMES placed 4th by the Judge objected against Jockey
Gaurav Sapra, the rider of MISS MARVELOUS for "soon
after jump out Jockey Gaurav Sapra (MISS MARVELOUS) cut
across me whereby I had to check my mount which cost me
a certain third place". The Stewards held an enquiry
immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys
concerned. After deliberations, they decided to over
rule the objection.
3rd Race: 173. The Squanderer Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres
9 Runners Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
have run at least thrice but not placed second,
third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms).
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of NEELGAGAN, was fined
Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference
to SPIRITED ANGEL (A. Imran Khan) who in turn passed it
on to VAYUPUTRA (A. Velu) approaching the 700 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the
winner b f SPIRITED ANGEL.
4th Race: 174. The Col.Rajkumar C. Desraj Urs Memorial Cup -
8 Runners Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres.For Horses rated 40 to
65.
As Jockey Faisal M. Ismail, the declared rider of
HAWAIIAN SUNRISE refused to fulfill his riding engage-
ment, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun
Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey S. John to ride HA-
WAIIAN SUNRISE. An enquiry is being held into the above
said refusal of JOckey Faisal M Ismail.
Jockey K. Narasimha, the rider of PHOENIX REACH,
was reprimanded for travelling wide from the start till
the 400 Metres for no apparent reason.
Jockey S. John, the rider of HAWAIIAN SUNRISE was
reprimanded for travelling wide after rounding the bend
for no apparent reason.
Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of LESTER, was fined
Rs.2,000/- for shifting `in' and causing interference
to LUNAR LUST (B. Prakash) on his inside approaching
the 1000 Metres.
Jockey S.Chandrashekar, the rider of BILLY BLACK-
JACK, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in' and caus-
ing interference to LUNAR LUST (B. Prakash) on his
inside approaching the 400 Metres.
5th Race: 175. The Bangalore St.Leger (Grade II) - (About)
7 Runners 2800 Metres. For 4 year old Indian Horses (Foaled
in 2004. (Terms)
Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from the
following I, II and III placed horses viz:

b g VANQUISH II
b f CLASSIC SKY III
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b c
NOBLE PRINCE.
6th Race: 176. The Poonawalla Stud Plate-Div.I- (About) 1400
11 Runners Metres. For Horses rated 60 to 85, 4,5 and 6 years
old.
Jockey Ranjeet Singh, the rider of QUEEN RANIA,
was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly changing course
immediately after the start.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of THE CONTENDER
was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip
on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the
winner b g SOBERANO.
7th Race: 177. The Brave Dancer Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
11 Runners Horses rated 20 to 45.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh
to substitute Jockey K. Narasimha to ride SANFRANCISCO
GIRL in place of Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the declared
rider.
MEDIA MAN (F.K. Shahbuddin) was very fractious in
the gates, bolted from the gates and ran round the race
track riderless. Under the circumstances it was permit-
ted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's
Order.
FOX HAVEN (B. Prakash) sustained a cut injury on
right hind tendon and was lame after the race. Trainer
Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to produce a Fitness
Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
TOMMY HILFIGER (Shanth Kumar) sustained a cut
injury on right hock.
8th Race: 178. The Poonawalla Stud Plate-Div.II- (About) 1400
10 Runners Metres. For Horses rated 60 to 85, 4,5 and 6 years
old.
Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was fined Rs.10,000/- by
the Stewards for his negligence in accepting his charge
NOBLE GUEST to run in the race which was under medica-
tion. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be with-
drawn.
Approaching the 1200 Metres RAIER'S SUN (Wayne
Smith) came `in' and inconvenienced EASY (Gaurav Sapra)
and VANDE STAR (S. John) which in turn passed it on to
ALEJANDROS (Vinod Shinde).
LUCKYNUMBERSLEVIN (G. Y Rajesh Babu) lost consid-
erable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour
trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not
accept with it again until its behaviour improved to
the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one
jump out on a starting gate practice day.

7th Race 86. The Ramkirpal Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses
rated 20 to 45.
The Board of Appeal decided to stay the punishment
imposed on Trainer Mr. Karan Singh (whose Trainer's
Licence was suspended by the Stewards from 30-7-2008 to
29-10-2008 (both days inclusive) for gross negligence
in the discharge of his duties as a trainer with regard
to the presentation of his charge b f PRINCESS KIDANE
for the above race thereby contravening Rule NO.114b(i)
read with Rule No.166(b) of BTC Rules of Racing) till
his appeal was heard and finally disposed off by the
Board of Appeal.

8th Race: 137. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Trophy - Div.II -
10 Runners (About) 1400 Metres. For horses rated 40 to 65,
4, 5 & 6 years old.
An enquiry was held into the running and riding of
CIBONEY trained by Mr. J.S. Dhariwal and ridden by
Jockey M. Narredu. After due enquiry the explanations
tendered by the trainer and the Jockey were noted.

8th Race: 162. The Astronomic Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400
12 Runners Metres. For Horses rated 20 to 45, 4, 5 and 6 years
old.
An enquiry was held into the running and riding of
STAR NEWS, trained by Mr. B. Puttanna and ridden by
Jockey C. Krishnan. After due enquiry the explanations
tendered by the trainer and the Jockey were noted.
