        1st Race:     122. The Young Rajput Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. 
         9 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 45.
        
        Trainer Mr. N.A. Ponnappa was fined Rs.500/- for making an  error 
        in  the starting declaration in respect of his charge CINDY  GIRL 
        as regards shoeing. 
        
        Jockey  K.  Raja  Rao,  the rider of  TWO  TO  TANGO,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/-  for shifting `out' and causing interference to  CINDY 
        GIRL (Vijay Kumar) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.
        
        Jockey  K.  Narasimha, the rider of DESIRE TO DAZZLE,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/-  for travelling wide in the straight for  no  apparent 
        reason. 
        
        DIFFERENT OPINION (V.R. Jagadeesh) burst its blood vessels  after 
        the race.  Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must  pro-
        duce  a  Fitness Certificate from the Club's  Veterinary  Officer 
        before accepting with it again. 
        
        CINDY GIRL (Vijay Kumar) sustained an injury on left hock. 
        
        TWO  TO TANGO (K. Raja Rao) sustained a cut injury on right  hind 
        outer bulb of heel.
        
        The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey K. Narasimha, the  rider 
        of  DESIRE  TO DAZZLE to the Stewards for careless  riding  (Rule 
        No.161(i) in that he shifted `in' and caused severe  interference 
        to CINDY GIRL (Vijay Kumar) on his inside approaching the 800 Me-
        tres.   The  Stewards  held an enquiry after the  last  race  and 
        interviewed Jockeys K. Narasimha and Vijay Kumar. After delibera-
        tions they decided to suspend Jockey K. Narasimha from riding  in 
        races from 16-7-2008 to 22-7-2008 (both days inclusive) for care-
        less riding (Rule No.161(i)) on his mount DESIRE TO DAZZLE in the 
        above race (permitted to ride work).
        
        2nd Race:     123. The Endorsment Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. 
        12 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 25.
        
        GRIS  RAPIDE (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) sustained cut injury  on  left 
        hind cannon.
        
        Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis from the winner b  f  FOX 
        HAVEN.
        
        
        The  Stipendiary  Stewards reported Jockey Faisal M  Ismail,  the 
        rider of DAZZLING LIGHT to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule 
        No.161(i)  in that he shifted `in' caused severe interference  to 
        GIRL NEXT DOOR (B. Mahesh) which passed it on to LUCKY LOOK (H.G. 
        Rathod) and MONEY MANTRA (S. Selvaraj) on his inside  approaching 
        the 900 Metres whereby GIRL NEXT DOOR (B. Mahesh) got momentarily 
        unbalanced, stumbled and dislodged the rider.   The Stewards held 
        an  enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockeys Faisal  M 
        Ismail,  H.G.  Rathod and S. Selvaraj. After  deliberations  they 
        decided  to suspend Jockey Faisal M Ismail from riding  in  races 
        from 16-7-2008 to 22-7-2008 (both days inclusive)  and fine him a 
        sum  of  Rs.5,000/- for careless riding (Rule No.161(i))  on  his 
        mount DAZZLING LIGHT in the above race (permitted to ride work).
        
        3rd Race:     124. The Broadacres Stud Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 
         8 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4,5 and 6 years old.
        
        STRONG  MINDED (Vinod Shinde) jumped awkwardly outwards from  the 
        gates.
        
        Jockey  R. Ravi, the rider of PANCHAKSHARI, was fined  Rs.1,000/- 
        for shifting `out' and causing interference to SOUTHERNER (K.P.G. 
        Appu) on his outside before passing the red marker post. 
        
        Jockey  M.  Narredu, the rider of STYLISH BAY  reported  that  he 
        could  not  get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due  to  a 
        closely packed field. 
        
        SOUTHERNER (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels during the race.  
        Trainer  Mr.  Mahmood Khan was informed that he  must  produce  a 
        Fitness  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary  Officer  before 
        accepting with it again. 
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f  SILKEN 
        CLARE. 
        
        4th Race:     125. The Smart Chieftan Trophy -(About) 1200 Metres
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who
                      have  run  at least thrice but not  placed  second,
                      third or fourth even once ineligible). 
        
        The Stipendiary Stewards questioned Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider 
        of  SUNDEVICE  pertaining to his riding in the  above  race.   He 
        stated  that  (a) his mount did not have the  initial  speed  and 
        picked  up speed only after 900 Metres; (b)  after  whipping  his 
        mount twice in the straight approaching the 300 Metres  his mount 
        was  erratic;  and (c) when stopped whipping  his  mount  started 
        galloping  straight. His explanations were noted. 
        
        CENTRAL COMMAND (P.S. Choouhan) sustained an injury on left eye. 
        
        STAGE  ACCLAIMED (K. Raja Rao) sustained an injury on right  hind 
        cannon.
        
        5th Race:     126. The Basque  Plate - (About) 1800 Metres.  
        11 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 65, 4, 5 and 6 years old.
        
        Jockey  Ranjeet  Singh, the rider of ROYAL ALCHEMIST,  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/-  for  shifting out and causing  interference  to  BOLD 
        REPLY (C. Alford) on his outside approaching the 100 Metres.
        
        Jockey  Shobhan  Babu,  the  rider of  DOUBLE  ELITE,  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for shifting `out' and causing interference to SUPERI-
        OR SURPRISE (K.P.G. Appu) whereby  he had to check his mount  and 
        shift  in thereby causing interference to STAR OF EXCELLENCE  (C. 
        Krishnan) on the inside. 
         
        The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Shobhan Babu to the Ste-
        wards  for improper riding (Rule No.161(i)) on his  mount  DOUBLE 
        ELITE in the above race in that he allowed his mount to drift out 
        persistently using the whip on the right and ultimately lost  the 
        race narrowly. They interviewed Jockey Shobhan Babu. After delib-
        erations,  the  Stewards decided to suspend Jockey  Shobhan  Babu 
        from  riding  in  races from 16-7-2008 to  22-7-2008  (both  days 
        inclusive)  for  improper riding (Rule No.161(i))  on  his  mount 
        DOUBLE ELITE in the above race (permitted to ride work).
        
        6th Race:     127. The Deccan Chronicle Juvenile Sprinters'
        10 Runners    Million (Grade III)-(About) 1200 Metres. For 3 year
                      old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2005) (Terms).
        
        Trainer  Mr.  B.  Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/-  for  failing  to 
        declare the weight in respect of his charge RARE AND PRECIOUS.
        
        Trainer Mr. D. Netto was fined Rs.10,000/- for failing to declare 
        his  charge  HYPER KINETIC to start for this  race  after  having 
        accepted with it.
        
        Jockey Wayne Smith, the rider of ICEBREAKER, was fined Rs.3,000/- 
        for  shifting  `in' and causing interference to FLAMING  ACE  (S. 
        Babu) which in turn passed it on to STAR LUXURIOUS (Vinod Shinde) 
        on the inside.
        
        RARE AND PRECIOUS (D. Gnaneshwar) sustained a cut injury on right 
        hind tendon. 
        
        Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following  I,

        7th Race:     128. The V.G. Saravanam Memorial Cup-(About) 1400 
        12 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 and 6 years old.
        
        Jockey  G.Y.  Rajesh  Babu, the rider of JEDI  KNIGHT  was  fined 
        Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (2nd infringement).
        
        8th Race:     129. The Broadacres Stud Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 
         8 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4,5 and 6 years old.

        Jockey  B.  Sreekanth, the rider of CLASSICAL DANCER,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/-  for shifting out and causing interference to  FLAMING 
        LAMBORGINI (M. Narredu) on his outside soon after jumping out  of 
        the starting gates. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f  AELE-
        NIA.
