1st Race :1. The Welcome Plate Div-II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only. (Terms) (9 Runners).
Jockey F.K.Shabuddin the rider of CASH IS KING was fined Rs.1,000/- for delay in weighing out.
Jockey Himanshu the rider of AMBER STAR was fined Rs. 1,000/- for delay in weighing out.
CLASSIC COMMANDER (Vivek) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced ROLE MODEL (Harish) soon after the start.
Jockey Harish the rider of ROLE MODEL reported the horse was reluctant to gallop freely at any stage of the race despite his urging and use of whip.
PRASHASTHA (Md. Shafiq) raced erratically passing the 300 Metres and returned having lost its right hind shoe.
ALIANZ (C.Krishnan) was slow into stride and travelled wide from 1000 Metres on wards.
CLASSIC COMMANDER (Vivek) sustained an injury on left hind cannon.
ZAMBEZI SUN (Ryan Marshall) sustained an injury on right hind fetlock.
TARGET ACHIEVER (K.Raja Rao) sustained an injury on right hind fetlock.
ROLE MODEL (Harish) sustained an injury on left hind pastern and coronet.
2nd Race: 2. The Royal Command Plate Div-II - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45. (9 Runners).
Apprentice Jockey Md. Sameer the rider of STAR LEAGUE was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and carrying FOND APPROACH (K.Raja Rao) outwards which further inconvenienced WALTER (C.Krishnan) and COMMUNICATION (N.Babu).
Jockey S.Shiva Kumar the rider of ALL RISE was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing NEARCO MASTER (Khurshad Alam) approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey K.Raja Rao the rider of FOND APPROACH was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing STAR LEAGUE (Md. Sameer) approaching the 200 Metres.
ENDURING SPEED (Shobhan Babu) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right gaskin.
FOND APPROACH (K.Raja Rao) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left fore cannon.
SON OF THE SUN (V.R.Jagadeesh) sustained an injury on right hock.
Routine sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch.f. CHILLI CHOCOLATE.
3rd Race: 3. The Sha Tin Plate. (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over. (9 Runners).
CLASSIC MOVEMENTS (Khurshad Alam) was slow into stride losing a few lengths.
EVERYTHING NICE (V.R.Jagadeesh) jumped awkwardly and veered inwards colliding with and inconvenienced LADY OF LIGHT (S.Chandrashekar) in the process Jockey V.R.Jageedesh was momentarily unbalanced and dislodged within 50 Metres of the start.
Jockey V.R.Jagdeesh was subsequently examined by the Club's Medical Officer and passed fit.
Jockey M.J.Gautam Raj Urs the rider of HELLOHAPPINESS was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SILVER PARIS (Mohammed Shoaib) approaching the 700 Metres.
GRACIAN (Shadab Khan) was observed to be lugging in approaching the 200 Metres.
Jockey S.Chandrashekar the rider of LADY OF LIGHT was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and bumping CLASSIC MOVEMENTS (Khurshad Alam) passing the 100 Metres.
4th Race:4. The Royal Command Plate Div-I - (About) 1100
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45. (8 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw RASHIDA on Veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflamed elbow at 7.05 A.M. on 15-5-2009. Trainer Mr.NeilDarashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine sample was taken for analysis from the winner b.f. OBAN.
5th Race:5. The Mayor'S Cup (About) - 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65. (12 Runners)
Approaching the 600 Metres FLY FREE (M.J.Gautam Raj Urs) fell for no apparent reason dislodging the rider. On questioning the jockey stated that his mount stumbled on its own. On Veterinary examination it was observed to have sustained a fracture of his right ileum (acetabular area) and hence was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
Trainer Mr. S.S.Attaollahi and Jockey Neeraj Rawal were questioned regarding the running and riding of CORBETT. The Jockey stated that he was asked to ride his own race according to the pace and he had ridden his mount hard in an effort to catch the leader but it failed to respond and further added that his mount was inclined to lug inwards in the straight. The Trainer started that he had instructed the rider to ride his own race as he had shown the jockey the tapes of the previous runs of his ward and he further added that his ward was a big made horse and was a one paced horse. After noting the explanation the Trainer was instructed to give specific riding instructions to his jockeys in future.
Jockey A.Ashhad Asbar the rider of STAR SPEED was fined Rs.1,000/- for excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st Infringement).
Surprise sample was taken for analysis from ch.g. AFFIRMED CROWN.
Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b.g. CORBETT.
6th Race :6. The Krishnaraja Wadiyar Cup (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above. (9 Runners).
ENCHANTING GIRL (M.Madhu Babu) was observed to have its head inclined at the gates as the start was affected thereby being slowly away and losing ground.
Jockey Imran Chisty the rider of CART WHEEL reported that his mount was inclined to hang outwards throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was advised to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Harish the rider of RARE AND PRECIOUS was reprimanded for rolling in and tightening CLASSICAL DANCER (Ashhad Asbar) approaching the 600 Metres.
7th Race : 7. The Littleover Plate (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 Years old and over. (12 Runners)
EVENT HORIZON (Ashhad Asbar) jumped awkwardly thereby inconvenienced AMAZING FLORA (S.Shiva Kumar).
SPANDAU BALLET (Ryan Marshall) jumped awkwardly outward and inconvenienced ALLEGRO (S.Chandrashekar) soon after the start.
Approaching the 1000 Metres CINDY GIRL (K.Raja Rao) shifted in causing SPANDAU BALLET (Ryan Marshall) to be checked.
ALLEGRO (S.Chandrashekar) was tightened at the start thereafter travelled wide throughout the race.
EVENT HORIZON (Ashhad Asbar) shifted out and inconvenienced SPANDAU BALLET (Ryan Marshall) approaching the 450 Metres.
Jockey Ryan Marshall the rider of SPANDAU BALLET reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. Trainer Mr. J.S.Dhariwal was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting it again.
Jockey Mohammed Shoaib the rider of VOODOO MOON was fined Rs.5,000/- for not improving his position between 900 & 600 Metres and for not making sufficient effort in the straight.
AMAZING FLORA (S.Shiva Kumar) sustained injury on right hock.
8th Race : 8. The Welcome Plate Div-I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 Years old only. (Terms) - (9 Runners).
SPARK OF JEWEL (S.John) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced BONZINI (Md. Shafiq) soon after the start.
SHERMAN (Ryan Marshall) jumped awkwardly and drifted towards the sand track thereby losing a few lengths.
Jockey Ryan Marshall the rider of SHERMAN reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
Approaching the 1100 Metres BONZINI (Md. Shafiq) which was racing keenly carried out TRILLION WIN (Harish) outwards.
Jockey S.John the rider of SPARK OF JEWEL was reprimanded for exulting before passing the winning post.
