RACING INCIDENTS
(64 - 71)

Going : Good Penetrometer Reading : 4.2 Cms.
(False Rails : Average width of 5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 9 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning Post.)

1st Race : 64. The Red Divine Plate - Div - II - (About) 1100
Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years
old only (Horses who have run at least thrice
but not placed second, third or fourth even
once ineligible (Terms) (8 Runners).

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of SMART FRESH, was reprimanded for inconveniencing CHRONICLE (L. Marshall) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey M. Ravi, the rider of ADMINISTRATOR, was reprimanded for travelling wide in the straight for no apparent reason.

SHOWDANCE (N. Harsha) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was questioned. He stated that his horse had veterinary problems and that may have been the reason for his charge running detached. He was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures and also not accept with it again until his charge performs well to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

2nd Race: 65. The Melbourne Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over. (11 Runners).

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of RETRO QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and tightening NEEL GAGAN (M. Madhu Babu) approaching the 300 Metres thereby causing FAST MACHINE (Mohammed Shoaib) to check and fall back.

Jockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of NEEL GAGAN placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of RETRO QUEEN, placed I for "in the last 100 Metres he came inside whereby I could not ride my mount and got unbalanced whereby I lost a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of NEEL GAGAN was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping RETRO QUEEN (Imran Chisty) approaching the 150 Metres.

GRACIAN (S.S. Baria) sustained injury on right flank.

An enquiry has been opened in the riding of MEXICAN WAVE (S Shiva Kumar) in the straight.

3rd Race : 66. The Red Divine Plate - Div - I - (About) 1100
Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years
old only (Horses who have run at least thrice
but not placed second, third or fourth even
once ineligible (Terms) (8 Runners).

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of STAR GLEAM, had to check and veer out sharply bumping LUSH LASHES (C. Rajendra), which in turn shifted out violently bumping MOJO (C. Alford) causing the horse to get unbalanced approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey S. John, the rider of SPARK OF SALERNO, shifted out and caused interference to OXFORD VISION (Vivek) who was travelling behind him causing him to check and fall back approaching the 900 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f REAPING REWARD.

4th Race: 67. The Diablo Plate - Div.I- (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over. (11 Runners).

Jockey Suraj Narredu was questioned regarding the riding on his mount MAN UNITED. He stated that the horse was lugging in badly in spite of his best efforts. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Veterinary Officer reported at 4.15 p.m. that the horse was trotting lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SOLITARY CHAMP (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) ran detached from the field. On questioning the Jockey reported that his mount was unfit. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was questioned and he stated that the horse had a knee problem which was the reason for the horse to run badly. Trainer was advised to ensure that his charge is capable of running with the field in future.

Jockey M. Ravi, the rider of PLEASANT GLORY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not infusing adequate vigour on his mount in the last 300 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SCRAMJET.

5th Race: 68. The Fantabulous King Plate-(About) 1600 Metres
Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over. (12 Runners).

FREEMASON (M. Mark) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the Race Track.

Jockey S. John, the rider of ONE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and bumping SPARK OF ISIS (R. Rupesh) which in turn bumped MYSTIC STAR (Harish) approaching the 1500 Metres.

FREEMASON (M. Mark) burst its blood vessel after the race. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 69. The Civil Service Cup-(About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners).

EINSTEIN (K.P.G. Appu) was observed to have lost his left fore shoe at the gates. In view of the above, the horse was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders.

CALLISTA (N.S. Parmar) was slow at the start and did not raise a fluent gallop. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the Race Track.

WELCOME BACK (Harish) sustained trauma on right fore cannon resulting in haematoma. The horse was further examined at 4.45 p.m. and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Near the 250 Metres FIREZONE (Imran Christy) was accidentally struck by the whip of Suraj Narredu the rider of SALSERA when attempting a run outside of that filly.


Jockey M.J. Gautam Raj Urs, the rider of STONE OF DESTINY, was severely reprimanded for not inducing adequate vigour in the last 200 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FIREZONE.

7th Race: 70. The Sir Charles Todhunter Memorial Cup-(About)
1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).

Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of BLUSHING BEAM, reported that the bit on his horse broke approaching the 1000 Metres and he had to pull up his mount and travel wide thereon. TINA'S TRIUMPH (Shobhan Babu) was severely inconvenienced in tis incident.

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of SCUBARIOO (drawn 9), was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SUNNYLAND (Gautam Raj Urs) (drawn 10) which in turn passed it on to TALISKER (Harish) (drawn 11) soon after the start.

Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of TINA'S TRIUMPH, reported that he received interference from BLUSHING BEAM (B. Prakash) approaching the 900 Metres. As Jockey B. Prakash had earlier reported that the bit on his horse had snapped resulting in this interference, no further action was taken.

Jockey C. Rajendra, the rider of NOX, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to CLASSIC CHARGE (M. Narredu) and SCUBARIOO (K.P.G. Appu) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.

8th Race: 71. The Diablo Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over. (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/- for not taking prior permission for his charge to be lead to the starting gates.

B Sreekanth the rider of IMPERIAL APPLAUSE was fined Rs1000/- for shifting outat the start causing interference to MASTER STRATEGIST (Gaurav Sapra).

BAFFLED (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

TESTAROSA (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. M.Eshwer was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

GENTLEMANS GLORY (Md. Shafiq) pulled up lame on right fore fetlock. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
