1st Race: 48. The Star Supreme Plate - (About) 1800 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (5 Runners).

DANTE'S PEAK (Wayne Smith) sustained a gum injury.

2nd Race : 49. The Epsom Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over
(10 Runners).

Jockey S. John, the rider of SPARK OF CLASS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and inconveniencing MARIANELLA (S.R. Santosh Kumar) soon after the start.

BADDA RUPAIYYA (A.R. Mani) jumped out and did not raise a fluent gallop. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SPICY STAR, reported that his mount was lugging in under pressure in the last 300 Metres.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of ROYAL PLAYER, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the last 150 Metres due to the crowding of the field.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f LUNAR LUST.

3rd Race: 50. The Churchill Downs Plate - (About) 1100
Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to withdraw DRAMATIC DANCER (N.S. Parmar) on veterinary grounds at 8.30 a.m. on 6th June 2009 as it was found to have inflamed right hind fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ALL RISE (G. Vijay) brushed the false rails approaching the 700 Metres and broke his right stirrup and rode without the aid of the equipment thereafter.

Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of PRINCE NORBERT, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the last 200 Metres. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

HELLOHAPPINESS (Imran Chisty) burst its blood vessels after the race Trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of CUTE ANGEL, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. On examination, the Veterinary Officer reported that CUTE ANGEL was found to have sharp molars on lower jaw (right side), as such trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for negligence.

BORN TO SHINE (G. Adarsh) sustained bleeding cut injury on right hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g AAJ TAK.

4th Race: 51. The Epsom Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 Years old and over
(9 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to withdraw AHIRA (S. Shiva Kumar) on veterinary grounds at 10.10 a.m. on 6th June 2009 as it was found to have inflamed left hind fetlock joint due to a cut injury. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

EASY (Gaurav Sapra) was hampered for room in the last 100 meters.

ZANZARA (V.R. Jagadeesh) burst its blood vessels after the race Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

5th Race : 52. The Southern Regent Trophy - (About) 1400
Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 Years old only, (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) - (12 Runners).

Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of RED LAD, was severely reprimanded for travelling wide in the last 200 Metres for no apparent reason.

FLEET INDIAN (I.Chisty) shifted in approaching the 950 meters causing SHERMAN (Suraj Narredu) to check and shift out taking the ground of POLISH PATRIOT (C.Rajendra).

SHERMAN (Suraj Narredu) sustained a minor injury on right hind pastern.

6th Race: 53. The K.N. Guruswamy Memorial Trophy-Div.I -
(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 Years old and over (12 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge KYLES OF BUTE as regards claiming allowance.

LOGANS RUN (N.S. Parmar) accidentally brushed the false rails several times between the 950 and 550 Metres. On questioning the jockey stated that the horse was too keen and hence was finding it difficult to control the horse.

Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of KYLES OF BUTE, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.

MIGHTY HEART (Stephane Breux) sustained a cut injury on right hind gaskin.

LOGANS RUN (N.S. Parmar) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination at 4.50 p.m. it had sustained cut injuries on right stifle and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An enquiry has been opened into the improved performance of LAVA, trained by Mr. B. Puttanna and ridden by Jockey C. Harish.

7TH Race: 54. The K.N. Guruswamy Memorial Trophy-Div.II
-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 Years old and over (12 Runners)

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SILKEN THOMAS, placed Second by the Judge objected against Jockey S. John, the rider of VALID EXPECTATION placed I for approaching the 700 Metres S. John who was travelling three horses wide came in sharply and knocked me badly thereby I lost my position. I had to recover and make my run again and the verdict was only 3 - 4 lengths. I lost a certain race due to this. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection and forfeit the deposit of Rs.2,500/-.

CARABINIERI (A.Ramana) was hampered for room in the last 300 meters.

Imran Chisty the rider of SPARK OF ISIS was severely reprimanded for travelling wide in the last 300 meters.

8th Race : 55. The Buck Passer Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 Years old only, (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) - (11 Runners).

SWARNA MUKHI (C. Harish) was very fractious and refused to be loaded, as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

P.Ramesh the rider of SWEET TIMER drawn -1 was reprimanded for jumping out and bumping CORLEONE (Wayne Smith) drawn - 2 on his outside.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra the rider of BLUE ORIGIN was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting out and bumping ALIANZ (C.Krishnan) passing the 250 meters.

CORLEONE (Wayne Smith) sustained an injury on right hind fetlock.
