(False Rails: Average width of 3.0 Metres from 1600 Metres to the Winning Post)

1st Race: 129. The Royal Challenge Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar, the rider of MIGHTY PRINCE, reported that he lost his whip in the final 200 Metres of the race.

Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of SPARK OF SALERNO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NEARCO MASTER (S. Rajesh) in the last 50 Metres along the rails.

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of PEACEMAKER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for exulting before passing the winning post.

YAMAGUCHI (Gaurav Sapra) struck the false rails approaching the 600 Metres.

AMBER STAR (G. Vijay) sustained injury on right fore cannon and sustained a bleeding gum injury (corner incisor) on upper jaw.

WINGED LIGHT (Vinod Shinde) sustained bleeding gum injury.

2nd Race: 130. The S.N.Harish Memorial Trophy - (About)
1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
(Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms)
(10 Runners).

ALVIANO (C. Alford) shifted in and caused severe interference to RED RENEGADE (Wayne Smith) which had to check and fall back causing ENDURING SPEED (Shakti Singh) also to check and shift out approaching the 1000 Metres. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey C. Alford, to the Stewards for careless riding on his mount ALVIANO.

RED RENEGADE (Wayne Smith) sustained cut injuries on left hind between bulbs of heel.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch g RED RENEGADE.

3rd Race: 131. The Pune Plate- (About) 1600 Metres. For
horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to withdraw FANTABULOUS HERO.

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib the rider of ZAMALEK reported that he could not assist his mount since the saddle had shifted backward.

Trainer Mr. Mohd. A. Abbas was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling of ZAMALEK.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g VALIANT BID.

4th Race: 132. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Trophy-Div.I-
(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years
old & over (11 Runners).

DISTINCTLY AHEAD (Imran Chisty) took a fly jump.

NOBLE KINGDOM (A. Imran Khan) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 900 Metres thereby his right stirrup iron broke and he had to ride out without the aid of the equipment thereafter.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of ANNA'S QUEST, reported that his mount was not striding out well soon after jumping out. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Veterinary Officer reported that the horse had sustained a deep cut injury on right knee and sustained an injury on right hind canon.

5th Race: 133. The B.T.C. Anniversary Cup-(Grade II) (About) 1400 Metres. For 4 years old and over (Terms) (13 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was fined Rs.500/- for not declaring the weight for the above race in respect of his charge GLORIOUS PRINCESS.
Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for error in declaration of weight with respect to his charge FIREZONE in the above race.
Trainer Mr.S.Padmanabhan was fined Rs.500/- for error in declaration of weight with respect to his charge RHAPSIDION SNOW in the above race.
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the Starting Declaration in respect of his charge FIREZONE as regards shoeing.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw GLORIOUS PRINCESS as it was examined on 9th July, 2009 at 8.10 a.m and was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
RIO BRAVO (Vivek) planted and took no practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey S. John, the rider of ABS FABS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SPIRITUALL (Neeraj Rawal) which had to check and fall back causing SALSERA (Suraj Narredu) which was travelling directly behind had to be inconvenienced.
Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

Jockey I.A. Khan the rider of GREEN BAX was fined Rs.3000/- for weighing in 600 grms in excess of what he had weighed out with .
ORIGINALITY (B. Prakash) sustained bleeding cut injuries on right hind coronet and inner bulbs of heel.

6th Race: 134. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Trophy-Div.II-
(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years
old & over (10 Runners).
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of SO MUCH MORE weighed in excess of 700 grms than he weighed out with. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was fined Rs.2,000/- for changing the girth on his charge SO MUCH MORE after weighing out without informing the Stipendiary Stewards of the same.

7th Race: 135. The Nawab M.Arshad Ali Khan Memorial Cup -
(About) 1400 Metres. For 3 year-old Indian horses
(foaled in 2006) (Terms) (10 Runners).

Jockey Vivek, the rider of DIVINE GLEAM, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out for no apparent reason near the 550 Metres thereby presenting an unimpeded passage to FOREST FLAIR (B. Prakash).

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of CRUISING, reported that his mount was hanging out in the last 300 meters Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of CELESTIAL WAY, weighed in excess of 700 grms than he weighed out with. Trainer Mr.S.Padmanabhan was fined Rs.2,000/- for changing the girth on his charge CELESTIAL WAY after weighing out without informing the Stipendiary Stewards of the same.

EXCELLENCY (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CELESTIAL WAY.

8th Race: 136. The Royal Challenge Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).

Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar, the rider of MENLO PARK, shifted in sharply soon after jumping out and causing severe interference to YOUR DESTINY (S.R. Santosh Kumar) and bumping and taking the ground of SPARK OF JEWEL (S. John) on his inside. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B.Mukesh Kumar, the rider of MENLO PARK to the Stewards for dangerous riding in that as the rider of MENLO PARK he rode dangerously by scrubbing his mount vigorously inwards after the start and causing severe interference to YOUR DESTINY (S.R. Santosh Kumar), ROYAL ZEN (S. Chandrashekar), NEEL GAGAN (M. Madhu Babu) and SPARK OF JEWEL (S. John) before passing the red marker port. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar for dangerous riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) from 21-7-2009 to 7-8-2009 (both days inclusive) on his mount MENLO PARK in the above race.

RULE OF ATTRACTION (Gaurav Sapra) sustained a bleeding injury on right fore.
ROYAL ZEN (S. Chandrashekar) sustained a cut injury on right hind Gaskin.

An enquiry has been opened into the riding of SPARK OF JEWEL ridden by Jockey S. John.
