1st Race: 192. The Mystic Memory Plate -(About) 1100 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to withdraw MASSIMILIANO (B.L. Paswan) on veterinary grounds as it was examined at 11.50 a.m. on 5-8-2009 and found to be trotting lame on left fore due to inflamed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of GAME DANCER, reported that his saddle shifted forward soon after the start and thereby had to ride his horse out without the aid of the stirrups. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.5,000/- for faulty saddling (3rd offence).

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of STEP IN STYLE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and tightening BLACK BEAUTY (S. Rajesh) approaching the 450 Metres.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of CAPTAIN'S LOVER, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

CALYPSO STAR (Suraj Narredu) lost its left hind shoe.

GAME DANCER (Neeraj Rawal) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

2nd Race: 193. The Tokyo Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of FLOWER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to FLIP YOUR DESTINY (Gaurav Sapra) passing the 900 Metres.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of FLIP YOUR DESTINY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and inconveniencing FLOWER (V.R. Jagadeesh) passing the 450 Metres.

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of GARA FLUID, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to CHAR CHAND (Himanshu) which in turn shifted out and caused interference to FLOWER (V.R. Jagadeesh) passing the 350 Metres.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SHOT OF GOLD.

3rd Race: 194. The Lively Emprey Plate - (About) 2000 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).

SON OF THE SOIL (Suraj Narredu) had to check the heels of VALIANT BID (A. Imran Khan) passing the 1800 Metres.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh the rider of PHENOMENAL STRIDES, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. On examination the Veterinary Officer reported that the horse was sound.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of PHENOMENAL STRIDES, was severely reprimanded for looking back for no apparent reason throughout the race with specific reference to him looking back in the last 300 Metres wherein an easy passage was made for Jockey Suraj Narredu (SON OF THE SOIL) travelling along the rails.

PHENOMENAL STRIDES (V.R. Jagadeesh) shifted out and caused interference to BUCK PASSER JUNIOR (Neeraj Rawal) passing the 300 Metres.

4th Race: 195. The Leading Owner Cup - Div.II - (About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

ENFORCER (Sreekanth B) dislodged the rider passing the 900 Metres.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of READY TO MINGLE, was reported to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule NO.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that he shifted in crowding KAJURAHO (M. Mark), ENFORCER (Sreekanth. B) and SUNNYLAND (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) passing the 1100 Metres with those horses having to check and KAJURAHO (M.Mark) being forced to crash into the false rails. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey A. Imran Khan. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey A. Imran Khan from 16-8-2009 to 28-8-2009 (both days inclusive) for careless riding on his mount READY TO MINGLE (permitted to ride work) .

Jockey A. Velu, the rider of SPICY STAR, was reported to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i)) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that he shifted in and crowded SO MUCH MORE (Y.S. Srinath) on his inside causing it to shift in and steady near 950 Metres. This caused YOUR DESTINY (Neeraj Rawal) to be restrained and tightened ENFORCER (B. Sreekanth) which fell when being checked. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey A. Velu. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey A. Velu from 17-8-2009 to 20-8-2009 (both days inclusive) for careless riding on his mount SPICY STAR (permitted to ride work) .

Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of ATLANTUS, weighed in 600 grams more than what he had weighed out after the race.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of ATLANTUS trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar and ridden by Jockey Md. Shafiq.

ENFORCER (Sreekanth B) sustained cut injury on left hind pastern.

KAJURAHO (M. Mark) sustained cut injury on left arm.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SO MUCH MORE.

5th Race: 196. The Santorini Star Trophy-(About) 1400 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath (deputizing for trainer Mr.V.Narayan Gowda) was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the Starting Declaration in respect of his charge EXCELLENCY as regards shoeing.

CINNAMON ROSE (Imran Chisty) took a fly jump.

Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of SPRING A SURPRISE, was reprimanded for shifting in and causing interference to SYSTEMATIC (Harish) and SUMMER WINE (Ryan Marshall) soon after the start.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of MYSTERE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing GORDIAN KNOT (Vinod Shinde) approaching the 600 Metres.

MYSTERE (Vivek) shied in approaching the 1200 Metres crowding STAR BRIGHT (A. Imran Khan) and GORDIAN KNOT (Vinod Shinde) on his inside.

The right fore shoe of CINNAMON ROSE (Imran Chisty) splayed during the race.

6th Race: 197. The V.T. Velu Memorial Cup -(About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (8 Runners).

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUGAR RAY, reported that his mount was lugging in thereby inconvenienced ENCHANTING GIRL (T. Rahul) at the start. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination and found to have injuries on buccal cavity.

ENCHANTING GIRL (T. Rahul) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

GREEN BAX (J.H. Christopher) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

7th Race: 198. The Capricorn Stud Plate - Div.I-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over
(11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to substitute Jockey M.J. Gautam Raj Urs to ride LAVA in place of the declared rider.

As Jockey Zia Akhtar was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey A.Velu to ride LUSH FOLIAGE in place of the declared rider.

JUST IN TIME (S. Shiva Kumar) shifted inwards and inconvenienced ROYAL AMBER (Vinod Shinde) passing the 1000 Metres.

ROYAL AMBER (Vinod Shinde) shifted inwards and inconvenienced AFEA (C. Alford) passing the 350 Metres.

Jockey A. Velu, the rider of LUSH FOLIAGE was reprimanded for travelling wide all through the race for no apparent reason.

AFEA (C. Alford) sustained cut injury on right fore pastern and found to have splayed its shoe.

CELESTIAL SON (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on right hind hock.

8th Race: 199. The Maj. Newton Davis Memorial Cup - (About)
1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Dominic to substitute Jockey M.J. Gautam Raj Urs to ride STILL WILL in place of the declared rider.

NOBLE SACRIFICE (Himanshu) veered out badly approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ANGELFIRE, reported that his mount was hanging in very badly in the straight. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

ANGELFIRE (Suraj Narredu) was examined and found to have an injury on left buccal cavity.

NOBLE SACRIFICE (Himanshu) sustained an injury on left hind tendon and found to have splayed its left shoe.

MODERN ART (Wayne Smith) sustained a cut injury on left hock.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch f MODERN ART.

Routine Samples was taken for analysis from the winner b g GLORY TO DANCER.

9th Race: 200. The Leading Owner Cup - Div.I - (About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey Himanshu to ride ALCHESAYE in place of the declared rider.

Jockey A. Velu, the rider of SUNNY BABA shifted out and bumped BLUSHING BEAM (A. Imran Khan) on his outside passing the 350 Metres.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUNNY BABA.

10th Race: 201. The Capricorn Stud Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over
(11 Runners).

There was a considerable delay in the start of the race due to heavy down pour.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V.Lokanath (deputizing for trainer Mr.V.Narayan Gowda) to substitute Jockey Himanshu to ride CLASSICAL DANCER in place of the declared rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Eshwer to substitute Jockey C. Alford to ride EDMONDO in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Wayne Smith, the rider of THE SPARTAN, reported that his mount stumbled soon after jumping out.

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of OWN VOICE, was severely reprimanded for jumping out awkwardly and causing inconvenience to CLASSICAL DANCER (Himanshu) on its outside.

Jockey A. Velu, the rider of ADORABELLA, was dislodged after the winning post due to cramps

THE SPARTAN (Wayne Smith) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
