(False Rails: Average width of 3 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post)

1st Race : 26. The Own Opinion Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (11 Runners)

Jockey Vikram Jodha, the rider of A MOVE TO REMEMBER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and tightening the horses on his inside viz., SECRET VISION (A. Imran Khan), DAY TRADER (Y.S. Srinath), PRINCESS COUP (S. Shiva Kumar) and DIVINE TOUCH (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey Vikram Jodha, the rider of A MOVE TO REMEMBER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SPRING BEAUTY (Md. Shafiq) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres.

A SHOOTING STAR (Imran Chisty) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c DAY TRADER.

2nd Race: 27. The Doncaster Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (8 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to withdraw AMAZING QUEEN on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right fore due to inflammed fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FORESIGHT (S. Selvaraj) jumped out awkwardly inwards from the gates and in the last 100 Metres veered in towards the rails. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

LADZONE (Y.S. Srinath) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of STAR LEAGUE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to CROWNING GLORY (G. Adarsh) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

CUTE ANGEL (H.G. Rathod) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.

SADDLER (P.Mani) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

3rd Race : 28. The Own Opinion Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (11 Runners)

BUGATTI (C. Alford) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order.

WAR ARTIST (Khurshad Alam) walked out of the gates and did not raise a fluent gallop for some time and ran detached from the field during the early part of the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

After the race Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SKY LIGHT, requested that his horse be examined as the action was scratchy. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination at about 5.00 p.m. and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SIRONO.

4th Race: 29. The Baraloy Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)

As Jockey H.G. Rathod was certified medically unfit after his ride in the 2nd race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Md.Shafiq to ride SOUTHERN KING in place of the declared rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanth to withdraw BEAUTIFUL LIFE (M. Mark) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right fore due to inflamed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of ROSEMEAD, reported that his mount was lugging in, in the straight under pressure.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of DEEP BLUE SKY, reported that his mount was lugging out throughout the race. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race DANCE N CELEBRATE (Ladjadj Stephane) was found to be having caps on both the lower jaws. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

ROSEMEAD (Imran Chisty) sustained bleeding cut injury on right hind pastern.

5th Race: 30. The Abdul Wajid Memorial Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners).

LESTER (A. Ashok Kumar) was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer at the saddling enclosure and was found to be suffering from severe Diarrhoea. Hence it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race : 31. The Karnataka Cup-(Grade III) - (About) 1600 Metres. For 4 years old and over (Terms) (12 Runners)

Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge SPRINT STAR.

Trainer Mr. P. Shroff was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge COTSWOLD ARMS.

Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge ICEBREAKER.

Jockey J.G. Sampson, the rider of ARISTOS, reported that his mount hung in after the start whereby it went in and tightened the horses on the inside viz. OUR LITTLE SAVAGE (Ch.K. Chary), SPRINT STAR (Suraj Narredu) and ARABIAN PRINCE (J. Chinoy) on his inside approaching the 1500 Metres. Trainer J.S. Dhariwal was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz.:

Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of ONASSIS, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 350 Metres due to a tightly packed field.

GERSHWIN (K.P.G. Appu) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind cannon.

7th Race: 32. The Mamma's Mink Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (10 Runners)

Trainer Mr. Ifran Ghatala was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey Suraj Narredu without ascertaining the availability of the rider concerned who had already accepted to ride DUKE OF EDINBURGH in the above race. Subsequently he declared Jockey B. Prakash to ride his charge.

In a tightly packed field, PARTY TONITE (B. Prakash) which was fiercely galloping behind DUKE OF EDINBURGH (Suraj Narredu) had to be checked by its rider and move out to avoid striking the front runner and in the process it inconvenienced REDSHIFT (Vivek) on the outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

8th Race: 33. The Sir M. Visvesvaraya Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey J.G. Sampson, the rider of CAMELOT, reported that his mount was hanging in very badly in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of CAPTAIN'S LOVER, was reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control over his mount whereby he allowed his mount to brush the false rails approaching the 1200 Metres.

9th Race: 34. The Abdul Wajid Memorial Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over.

There was a heavy down pour before the start of the race and it continued for a considerable period of time. In view of the above and due to poor visibility the Stewards decided to cancel the above race.

Permission was granted to trainers M/s.Samar Singh and S. Inayathulla to deputise on behalf of trainers M/s. J.S. Pillay and Mahmood Khan who were unable to attend the races.
