RACING INCIDENTS
(67 - 76)

1st Race : 67. The Camineto Plate - Div. II - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (9 Runners).

ROYAL NATURE (P. Ramesh) dislodged its rider and bolted on the way to the starting gates and the Jockey was certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances the horse was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

BOTTOM BURST (B. Mahesh) brushed the false rails between 600 Metres and 400 Metres.

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of A MOVE TO REMEMBER was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming out and causing interference to MOROVA GOODTIME (Imran Chisty) on his outside passing the 200 Metres.

SPLENDID SPIRIT (Md. Sameer) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of BALMORAL CASTLE, reported that his mount was hanging in badly in the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of VAYOMI, reported that his mount was hanging out during the race. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of JENNIFFER, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

Jockey F.K. Shabuddin, the rider of UNCHALLENGED, reported that his mount ran erratically during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both upper and lower jaws. Hence trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c A MOVE TO REMEMBER.



2nd Race: 68. The Tudor Jet Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (12 Runners).

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of HARD TO PIN DOWN, reported that he could not get a clear run between 800 Metres and 600 Metres due to a closely packed field.

ENDURANCE (M. Mark) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

3rd Race : 69. The Camineto Plate - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (10 Runners).

ONE COOL CAT (Ch. K. Chary) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of AIRBORNE MAGIC, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and inconveniencing ONE COOL CAT (Ch. K. Chary) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of AFICIONADO, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres and again approaching the 600 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of AFICIONADO, reported that his mount brushed the false rails passing the 500 Metres.

CHHOTA BHEEM (Md. Sameer) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
4th Race: 70. The M. Ali Asker Memorial Trophy - Div.II (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners).

After entering the gates RUBELLITE (S. Mallikarjun) slipped out of the gates dislodged the rider and bolted. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of SHE'S FOR CASH, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing ASTON PARK (Ch.K. Chary) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.

5th Race: 71. The Regency Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge FANTABULOUS PRINCE as regards shoeing.

DISTINCTLY AHEAD (G. Adarsh) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.



6th Race: 72. The M. Ali Asker Memorial Trophy - Div.I (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of FLYING TRICOLOUR, weighed in 700 grams in excess in relation to weighing out. After due enquiry with the trainer and Jockey concerned, Jockey Y.S. Srinath was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in weighing in more in relation to weighing out.

DESERT REALM (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained gum injury.

7th Race: 73. The Chief Justice's Cup - (Grade III) - (About)
1800 Metres. For 4-years old and over (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw CONCEPTUAL on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right fore due to inflamed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S.Zervan, the rider of COTSWOLD ARMS, was fined Rs.5,000/- for taking an unduly long lead passing the 1400 Metres whereby his mount gradually slowed down in the last 200 Metres.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the I, II and III placed horses viz:

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of ARISTOS trained by Mr. J.S. Dhariwal and ridden by Jockey Ryan Marshall.

8th Race: 74. The Sweet Memories Plate - (About) 1800
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over
(9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw SPARK OF OLDENBURG (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from urticaria. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey M.F. Ali Khan, the rider of SHOWERS OF LUCK, reported that his mount was lugging in from 1600 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both the lower and upper jaws with injuries on corners of the mouth. Hence trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.

9th Race: 75. The Regency Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey S. John, the rider of SNOB VALUE, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g RED RENEGADE.

10th Race: 76. The Ramkirpal Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji and Jockey B. Prakash were questioned regarding the running and riding of GLUTEUS MAXIMUS. The trainer stated that (a) the horse which was raced in the front bunch in its previous outings did not perform well; (b) therefore he had specifically instructed the rider to ride it in check and not show the day light till the last 300 Metres; (c) the rider fully followed his riding instructions and he was satisfied with his riding; (d) he observed that the horse was hanging in and further that one testicle had apparently gone up during the race; and (e) he would have the horse gelded soon. Jockey Prakash corroborating the statement of the trainer as regards instructions added that he fully followed the same and the horse could finish only 4th . Their explanations were noted.
