1st Race: 77. The Paddiwick Plate-(About) 1200 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but
not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge SPARK OF BLUE. Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Approaching the 800 Metres SPARK OF DESIRE (R. Rupesh) shifted out to avoid clipping the heels of the front runner and in the process took out SPRING BEAUTY (Khurshad Alam) on the outside.
Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of MONTEDORO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for forcing a passage passing the 300 Metres between CON ARTISTE (Y.S.Srinath) on his inside and FAME AND GORY (Suraj Narredu) on the outside whereby his mount struck the latter and stumbled.
SPARK OF DESIRE (R. Rupesh) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind coronet.
2nd Race: 78. The Bukit Timah Plate-(About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah to withdraw RETRO QUEEN on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left hind due to inflamed hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ISINBAYEVA (S.Selvaraj) reared up as the gates opened, planted, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Ramandeep S. Bal, the rider of GOLDEN DIXIE, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the final stages of the race. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Ramandeep S. Bal, the rider of GOLDEN DIXIE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Jockey N. Harsha, the rider of PRINCE NORBERT, reported that he lost his
whip passing the final 100 Metres.
3rd Race: 79. The Bergamo Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
ANOTHER VOICE (S. Chandrashekar) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of BLACK BEAUTY, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 350 Metres due to a closely packed field.
BLACK SUPER STAR (Imran Chisty) was lugging in under pressure during the final stages of the race.
AMBER STAR (Amyn Merchant) sustained a deep cut injury of the lower jaw.
4th Race: 80. The Beautiful Babe Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).
Jockey M. Mark, the rider of SPREAD A SMILE, reported that his mount was hanging in during the race. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed to get checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey Ladjadj Stephane, the rider of BID FOR GLORY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of BURNING AMBITIONS, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
Jockey M. Mark, the rider of SPREAD A SMILE, reported that his mount was hanging in during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both the lower and upper jaws. Hence trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m BID FOR GLORY.
5th Race: 81. The Rajah S.R.K. Ranga Row Memorial Trophy -Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
HAGGLER (A. Ashhad Asbar) took a fly jump and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
NOBLE SACRIFICE (Vivek) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Ladjadj Stephane, the rider of EXPRESS IT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NATIVE TALENT (Y.S. Srinath) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of NOBLE SACRIFICE reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 250 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of MISTY MOONLIGHT, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on the upper and lower jaws on both sides. Hence trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.

6th Race: 82. The Bergamo Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
SPARK OF NAPOLEON (Mohd. Ghous) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced APPROACH (Khurshad Alam) which shifted out soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c INDIAN BOLT.
7th Race: 83. The Stewards Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners).
Jockey S.Selvaraj, the rider of FIREZONE (drawn 8) was fined Rs.2,000/- for causing interference to EDMONDO (C. Alford) (drawn 7) which in turn passed on to SLICKKIT (S. Zervan) (drawn 6) soon after the start.
Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of MAGNANIMITY (drawn 4), was fined Rs.2,000/- for causing interference to RIMPUCHE (B. Prakash) (drawn 5) which in turn passed it on to SLICKKIT (S. Zervan) (drawn 6) soon after the start.

8th Race: 84. The HDIL Colts Trial Stakes - (Grade I) - (About) 1600 Metres. For 3-years-old Indian Colts & Geldings (Foaled in 2007) (14 Runners).
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUN KINGDOM, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of MOON STAR, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.

9th Race: 85. The Rajah S.R.K. Ranga Row Memorial Trophy -Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
MAC (B.L. Paswan) was fractious inside the gates and dislodged the rider. It was taken out for veterinary check but thereafter refused to enter the stall again. Under the circumstances the horse was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.
DESDEMONA (S. Zervan) planted and did not take part in the race. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two jump outs on starting gate practice days and one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g POLISH PATRIOT.
10th Race: 86. The Beautiful Babe Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).
As Jockey Y.S. Srinath was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 8th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to substitute Jockey P.S. Chouhan to ride SUNNY CONNEXION in place of the declared rider.

Race No.48: The Chief Minister's Cup-Grade III-(About) 1200 Metres, for 4 years old and over.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of D'ARTAGNAN to the Stewards for Careless Riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that approaching the 800 Metres he came in and caused severe interference to ATLANTUS (S. Chandrashekar) on his inside which stumbled and further went in caused interference to the horses on the inside viz. ALACRITY (T.S. Jodha), KYLES OF BUTE (Imran Chisty) and RARE AND PRECIOUS (Harish). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Saturday, 19th June 2010 and examined Jockeys Y.S. Srinath, T.S. Jodha, S. Chandrashekar, Imran Chisty and Harish. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the licence granted to Jockey Y.S. Srinath from 29-6-2010 to 3-7-2010 (both days inclusive) for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount D'ARTAGNAN in the above race (permitted to ride work).

RANDOM TESTING FOR ANABOLIC STEROIDS AND SEX HORMONES FOR THE MONTH OF
JANUARY 2010
The Board of Appeal considered the letter dated 21st June 2010 submitted
by trainer Mr. Amit Caddy for staying the punishment imposed by the Stewards of
B.T.C. of suspending his Trainer's Licence from 22-6-2010 was considered by the
Board and it decided to stay the punishment pending hearing and disposal of the
appeal.
