Going : Good Penetrometer Reading : 3.4 Cms.
(False Rails: Average width of 4 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 8 Metres from 1000 Metres to the Winning Post)
1st Race: 87. The Mauritius Pearl Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
SABARI (A. Ashok Kumar) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 900 Metres.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of SABARI, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing I FANCY YOU (S. Zervan) on his outside approaching the 400 Metres.
It was reported after the race that ORANGE ORCHARD (V. Chandraskant) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

2nd Race: 88. The High Commission Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only(Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (7 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to withdraw GOLD TERN on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of ROYAL NATURE, reported that his mount was hanging out, in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormalities was reported. However, trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
BIG CHANCE (Shadab Khan) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c SUN SALVADOR.
3rd Race: 89. The Richelieu Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (7 Runners).
LUSH LASHES (S. John) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the
1000 Metres.
Jockey C. Alford, the rider of BALLIBAY, reported that his mount was hanging out
throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no
abnormalities was reported. However, trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed to
take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
4th Race: 90. The Skyline Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for using wrong coloured cap in respect of his charge SOUTHERN KING. Subsequently it was rectified by changing to the correct coloured cap.
SPARK OF GALAXY (A. Ashhad Asbar) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1300 Metres.
Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of ATOMIC QUEEN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to YOUNG SAPPER (P.S. Chouhan) on his inside which had to be checked by its rider to avoid striking the front runner thereby hit the false rails approaching the 1300 Metres.
Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of ATOMIC QUEEN, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.
5th Race: 91. The Karnataka Sub-Area Cup-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners).
LOCK AND LOAD (Vinod Shinde) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced DESERT RULE (P. Venkat) on the outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
LOCK AND LOAD (Vinod Shinde) sustained a bleeding cut injury on its left hind coronet.
6th Race: 92. The Mauritius Pearl Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw SPARK OF JOY on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left fore due to deep cut injury on cannon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
As Jockey Y.S. Srinath was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 3rd race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to substitute Jockey B. Prakash to ride AMAZER in place of the declared rider.
Jockey J. Pradeep, the rider of MAN UNITED, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and bumping AMAZER (B. Prakash) which in turn passed it on to CASH IS KING (Ladjadj Stephane) on the inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey J. Pradeep, the rider of MAN UNITED, was reprimanded for not
maintaining a straight course in the straight.
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of HAMPTON COURT, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 400 Metres.
It was observed that Ladjadj Stephane (CASH IS KING ) lost his whip approaching the 100 Metres.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of SNOW PEAKS, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of AMAZER, reported that his mount was lugging in under pressure, in the final stages of the race.
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of HAMPTON COURT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
HAMPTON COURT (P. Mani) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g MYSTERE.
7th Race: 93. The New Market Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of GOOD GIFT, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g CHRONICLE.
8th Race: 94. The Pendragon Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (11 Runners).
Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of COWBOY CAL, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.
