1st Race : 35. The Southern Regent Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (8 Runners)
Jockey J.G. Sampson, the rider of ALLEZ VITE, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
Jockey B. Mahesh, the rider of MATIAS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence pertaining to weighing out.
It was reported after the race that SECRETARY GENERAL (A. Imran Khan) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c ASTOUNDING GALLOP.
2nd Race : 36. The Star Supreme Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (6 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw SARANG on veterinary grounds as it was trotting lame on left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was observed that GUNPOWDER (Imran Chisty) drifted out under pressure during the final stages of the race and in the process it inconvenienced THE GORDIAN KNOT (R. Laxmikanth) on its outside.
3rd Race : 37. The Guindy Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners)
Jockey Harish, the rider of YES I CAN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in
and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. KICKINGKING (S. Zervan),
ENCHANTING BEAUTY (Khurshad Alam) and MISTER TROOPER (Shobhan Babu) before
passing the red marker post.
Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of BOCCONCINO reported that he could not get a
clear run approaching the 1200 Metres due to the crowding of the field.
CONSTANCE (G. Adarsh) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
BOCCONCINO (S. Selvaraj) sustained a cut injury on right flank.

4th Race : 38. The Epsom Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
As Jockey Sunny Chinoy was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to substitute Jockey B.Sreekanth to ride ZANZARA in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SHOTGUNN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SWEET SURRENDER (Ryan Marshall) on his outside which in turn passed it on to ZANZARA (B. Sreekanth) on his outside approaching the 200 Metres.
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of SWEET SURRENDER, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight. Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
GAME DANCER (Ahsan Qureshi) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.
APPOLONAIRE (Ch.K. Chary) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon.
5th Race: 39. The K.N. Guruswamy Memorial Cup - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (5 Runners)
GLORIOSA (Imran Chisty) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
6th Race: 40. The Nanoli Stud Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of STILL WILL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for unnecessarily calling out during the race.
Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of STILL WILL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for
shifting out and inconveniencing COLONEL DUFF (S. Shiva Kumar) on his outside
approaching the 100 Metres.
It was observed that the saddle of ALPHA BABY (J.G. Sampson) had shifted back
considerably passing the 1000 Metres. After due examination of the equipment
after the race, trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty
saddling of his charge.
LOGANS RUN (Vinod Shinde) sustained cut injuries on right gaskin and right hind bulb of heel.
THE CONTENDER (S. Mallikarjun) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f DREAM PARK.
7th Race : 41. The Buck Passer Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (12 Runners)
Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of NATURAL FORCE, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey M. Mark, the rider of OCEANIC WIND, was fined Rs.2,000/- for suddenly shifting out and causing interference to METHODICAL (Vivek) on his outside passing the 300 Metres.

8th Race : 42. The Epsom Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
As Jockey J. Chinoy was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer J.S. Dhariwal to substitute Jockey Deep Shanker to ride SHOT OF GOLD in place of the declared rider.
Jockey Deep Shanker, the rider of SHOT OF GOLD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the improper use of the whip whereby he could not exercise sufficient control over his mount, went in and inconvenienced PINAAKINI (Imran Chisty) on his inside during the final stages of the race.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of PINAAKINI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
It was reported after the race that IMPERIAL APPLAUSE (K. Chethana) pulled
up lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was
informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary
Officer before accepting with it again.
