RACING INCIDENTS
(121 to 129)

Going : Good Penetrometer Reading : 3.5 Cms.
(False Rails: Average width of 2 Metres from 1600 Metres to the Winning Post)

(It rained heavily before the start of the 7th race)

1st Race: 121. The Commanche Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (8 Runners).

ENDURANCE (M. Mark) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates and inconvenienced SILVER SCEPTRE (S. John) on the outside.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of PRINCESS COUP, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in sharply and causing interference to ONE COOL CAT (Vinod Shinde) which in turn passed it on to SILVER SCEPTRE (S. John) on the inside before passing the red marker post.

Jockey S. Babu, the rider of BETTER THAN BEST, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ONE COOL CAT (Vinod Shinde) which had to be checked by its rider and in the process brushed the false rails passing the 300 Metres.

Jockey A.Ashhad Asbar, the rider of SILVER COURT, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 250 Metres.

Jockey J.G. Sampson, the rider of LOVE ME TENDER, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

2nd Race: 122. The Royal Challenge Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to withdraw CROWN VISION (Suraj Narredu) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of TRILLION WIN, reported that his mount slipped from behind while jumping out of the starting gates.

3rd Race: 123. The Commanche Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (8 Runners).

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SKY GLIDER, reported that his mount was running scratchy throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

FAME AND GLORY (R. Koch) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f NESSIE.

4th Race: 124. The Pune Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of RICH RADIANT, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.

SADDLER (Amyn Merchant) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey S. John, the rider of SPARK OF GALAXY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to the horses on his outside viz. GOLDEN DIXIE (Ramdeep S. Bal), STAR OF STARS (Shadab Khan), POWERGRID (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) and SUPERLATIVO (S. Ramesh) approaching the 200 Metres.

Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar, the rider of SUN RAY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Jockey G.Y.Rajesh Babu, the rider of POWERGRID, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

5th Race: 125. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Plate-Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for using wrong coloured cap in respect of his charge BRUNETTA. Subsequently it was rectified by changing to the correct coloured cap.

6th Race: 126. The HDIL B.T.C. Anniversary Cup (Grade II) - (About) 1400 Metres. 4 years old and over (Terms)(15 Runners).

Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge SPRINT STAR.

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge ATLANTUS.

CELESTIAL WAY (J.G. Sampson) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates and bumped TOMSK (S. John) on the outside.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of D'ARTAGNAN, reported that his saddle shifted back soon after jumping out of the starting gates. After examination of the equipment after the race, trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of ATLANTUS, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing very severe interference to RIMPUCHE (Vinod Shinde) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SPRINT STAR, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

7th Race: 127. The Nawab M.Arshad Ali Khan Memorial Cup -
(About) 1400 Metres. For 3 year-old Indian horses (foaled in 2007) (Terms) (7 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Laxman Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of his charge KOHINOOR WISH.

8th Race: 128. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Plate- Div.I -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of RUGGED BEAUTY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f RUGGED BEAUTY.

9th Race: 129. The Royal Challenge Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge MAGNIFIQUE as regards shoeing.

Jockey M. Mark, the rider of FLIP YOUR DESTINY, reported that his mount was galloping in patches during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormalities were reported.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of SMART WAYS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping SWEET PERFORMER (S. John) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SMART WAYS.
