(False Rails: Width of 2.5 Metres from 1600Metres to 1000 Metres and 4.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post)

1st Race: 148. The Happy Valley Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Jockey N. Harsha, the rider of HARINI, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race. He was further cautioned in the presence of trainer Mr. B. Puttanna that repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

Jockey S. John, the rider of CUTE ANGEL, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

HARINI (N Harsha) sustained cut injury on left fore coronet.

2nd Race: 149. The Treasure Girl Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (9 Runners).

SPLENDID SPIRIT (Harish) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

SPLENDID SPIRIT (Harish) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind coronet.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RECORD BREAKER.

3rd Race: 150. The Esquire Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to substitute Jockey Khurshad Alam to ride WINDSOR PARK in place of Jockey Ranjeet Singh, the declared rider.

SOVEREIGN DREAM (S. Babu) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SUNSET GRILL (S. Selvaraj) soon after the start.

Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of SUNSET GRILL, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in sharply and causing interference to IDEAL MATCH (Md. Shafiq) which in turn passed it on to SABALA (P.S. Chouhan) and WINDSOR PARK (Khurshad Alam) on the inside soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of A GAME TO REMEMBER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SABALA (P.S. Chouhan) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.

4th Race: 151. The Happy Valley Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw CARNIVAL OF JOY (M.J. GautamRajUrs) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right fore due to bleeding cut injury on cannon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of BONZINI, reported that his saddle shifted slightly towards the left which he adjusted by balancing during the race. On examination of the equipment it was found to have been otherwise well maintained and as such no further action was taken beyond noting the incident.

Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of YOURE MAGNIFIQUE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SARATOGA.

5th Race: 152. The Parsiana Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of DEEP BLUE SKY, reported that his mount was hanging `in' from 600 Metres. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 153. The Astronomic Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw SOUTHERN GLADIATOR (Ladjadj Stephane) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from acute colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw BLACK BEAUTY (Khurshad Alam) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left fore due to inflamed cannon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey R. Koch, the rider of SHOWERS OF LUCK, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out ADMIRANDA (S. John) on his outside passing the 400 Metres.

It was reported after the race that the left hind shoe of SHOWERS OF LUCK (R. Koch) had apparently splayed during the race.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g YOURE A LEGEND.

7th Race: 154. The Bangalore St.Leger (Grade II) - (About) 2800 Metres. For 4 year old Indian Horses (foaled in 2006) (Terms) (6 Runners).

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

8th Race: 155. The Chettinad Stud Plate - (About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (11 Runners).

As Jockey Suraj Narredu was certified medically unfit after his ride in the 7th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey Ladjadj Stephane to ride CLASSIC CHARGE in place of the declared rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to substitute Jockey Md. Shafiq to ride CAPRIOSKA in place of Jockey Ranjeet Singh, the declared rider.

Routine sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CLASSIC CHARGE.

9th Race: 156. The Astronomic Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey C. Alford to ride PERSIAN PRINCESS in place of the declared rider.

AMBER STAR (M.D. Praveen) was very fractious in the stalls and reared up and flipped over, on examination by the veterinarian it was found to have sustained deep cut injury on right fetlock and the rider was injured. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders. Trainer Mr J.S.Pillay was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SANDALWOOD STAR (Md. Shafiq) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced OUR CRUISE (S. John) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey M. Shahid, the rider of VOODOO MOON, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Jockey Ramandeep S. Bal, the rider of DIAMOND SHOWER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
