1st Race: 157. The Azhar Plate - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).

SPRING BEAUTY (Khurshad Alam) sustained gum injury.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SPARK OF HARMONY.

2nd Race: 158. The Chantille Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).

CUTE ANGEL (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) could not get a clear run due to a closely packed field approaching the 1000 Metres.

KARNATAKA PRINCESS (Shadab Khan) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1000 Metres.

CORBETT QUEEN (S. Mallikarjun) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

KARNATAKA PRINCESS (Shadab Khan) sustained bleeding cut injury on right stifle.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of LEGEND REBORN to the Stewards for incompetent riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined trainer Mr. Amit Caddy and Jockey S. Selvaraj. After deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey S. Selvaraj from 3-8-2010 to 6-8-2010 (both days inclusive) for incompetent riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount in the above race (permitted to ride work); and (b) caution trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to be more judicious in the selection of riders for his charges in future.

3rd Race: 159. The Azhar Plate - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of SHOT OF GOLD, reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

PRECEPT (G.Y. Rajesh Babu)sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hock.

4th Race: 160. The Nawab Sultan Ali Khan Memorial Plate -Div.I - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f LUSH LASHES.

5th Race: 161. The J.B. Mallaradhya Memorial Cup - (About)
1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners).

As Jockey S. John was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey Gaurav Sapra to ride TOMSK in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined Rs.500/- for using tongue strap on his charge LOWNDES SQUARE instead of a Cross Nose Band for the use of which prior permission had been obtained. Subsequently Cross Nose Band was put on and Tongue Strap removed before the horse left the paddock.

Trainer Mr. Mohd. A Abbas was fined Rs.500/- for presenting his charge NOBLE GUEST without Tongue Strap for which permission had been obtained. Subsequently Tongue Strap was put on the horse before it left the paddock.

NOBLE GUEST (Vinod Shinde) stumbled while jumping out of the starting gates.

ROYAL AMBASSADOR (Ladjadj Stephane) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

6th Race: 162. The Manitou Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S.Attaollahi to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride GAZELLIER in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

VAYOMI (Harish) dislodged the rider on the way to the starting gates and ran round the course riderless. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

GOLD TERN (P.S. Chouhan) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

GAZELLIER (Ryan Marshall) stumbled approaching the 900 Metres.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dk b f ROYAL SURPRISE.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUN DAWN.

7th Race: 163. The D.N. Hosali Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Gaurav Sapra to ride HIDALGO in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P. Mani, the rider of BUCK PASSER JUNIOR to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount in the above race in that soon after jumping out of the starting gates he came in very sharply and caused very severe interference to SPICY STAR (Khurshad Alam) which in turn passed it on to DANCE N CELEBRATE (Ladjadj Stephane) along the rails. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey P. Mani. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey P. Mani from 3-8-2010 to 6-8-2010 (both days inclusive) for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount BUCK PASSER JUNIOR in the above race (permitted to ride work).

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SUNSPIRIT.

8th Race: 164. The Nawab Sultan Ali Khan Memorial Plate -Div.II - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

37. The Harangi Dam Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65

The Stewards of the B.T.C. at their meeting held on 24th July 2010 considered the appeal dated 2-7-2010 filed by Jockey Himanshu against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., in suspending his Jockey's licence from 19-7-2010 to 4-8-2010 and referring him to the Stewards of BTC for further action and he be not permitted to ride work during the period of suspension of his Jockey's Licence, for not permitting his mount WAR HEAD to run on its merit in the above race (Rule No.159(a) & (b) of BTC Rules of Racing).

They examined Jockey Himanshu. After deliberations, they decided to (a) modify the punishment in that his Jockey's licence shall stand suspended from 19-8-2010 to 31-8-2010 and should it be extended beyond 31-8-2010, the same shall remain suspended from 1-9-2010 to 18-9-2010 for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) on his mount WAR HEAD in the above race (permitted to ride work); and (b) that the appeal fee of Rs.2,500/- paid by him be forfeited.

The Stewards of the B.T.C. at their meeting held on 24th July 2010 considered the appeal dated 2-7-2010 filed by trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., in suspending his trainer's licence from 19-7-2010 to 4-8-2010 and referring him to the Stewards of BTC for further action for not running his charge WAR HEAD on its merits in the above race (Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing.

They examined trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav. After deliberations, they decided to (a) modify the punishment in that his trainer's licence shall stand suspended from 19-8-2010 to 31-8-2010 and should it be extended beyond 31-8-2010, the same shall remain suspended from 1-9-2010 to 18-9-2010 for unsatisfactory running of his charge WAR HEAD in the above race; and (b) that the appeal fee of Rs.2,500/- paid by him be forfeited.
