1st Race: 165. The Allied Forces Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over
(9 Runners).

AFRICAN SKY (S. Zervan) reared up as the gates opened and swerved towards right and lost many lengths.. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SPRAWLING ELEGANCE, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing NEARCO MASTER (Vinod Shinde) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of AFRICAN SKY, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing IWANA DANCE (Harish) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of AFRICAN SKY reported that he lost his whip approaching the 250 Metres.

2nd Race: 166. The Batu Gantong Plate - (About) 1400 Metes. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Gaurav Sapra to ride MISTER TROOPER in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of ISINBAYEVA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and bumping PEARL OF BANGALORE (Harish) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey S. Babu, the rider of EVENING RHAPSODY was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out soon after the start and bumping PEARL OF BANGALORE (Harish) on his outside, in the process the rider got unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount. FORESIGHT (Suraj Narredu) travelling directly behind struck the prostrated rider and was checked by its rider and moved in thereby losing some ground.

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of KALYAN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race thereby hampering the running of FORESIGHT (Suraj Narredu) on his inside and also for the improper use of the whip on his mount during the race.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ENCHANTING BEAUTY, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.

It was reported after the race that EVENING RHAPSODY (S. Babu) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

3rd Race: 167. The Squanderer Trophy - (About) 1100
Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (7 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride A SHOOTING STAR in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SEASIDE STAR as regards shoeing.

AMAZING COLOUR (P. Mani) was very fractious inside the gates and was taken out of the gates and was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer who reported that it was found to be walking lame on right hind. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of A SHOOTING STAR, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that SEASIDE STAR (R. Koch) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f KIRTLING.

4th Race: 168. The Brave Dancer Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to withdraw FLASHING CROWN on veterinary grounds as it was found to have burst its blood vessels. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUN SALVADOR, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of INSPIRED MOVE placed I for "inside the final 300 Metres the winner tightened me and cut across sharply thereby taking ground of running , I had to check my mount severely to avoid clipping and I lost a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of INSPIRED MOVE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 250 Metres of the race.

It was reported after the race that LIBERTY SHIP (S. Babu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f INSPIRED MOVE.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUN SALVADOR to the Stewards for (a) tendering false / misleading evidence (Rule No.202(vii) of BTC Rules of Racing) during the Stewards enquiry while they were considering his objection against Jockey S. Zervan the rider of INSPIRED MOVE in the above race; and (b) for his misconduct towards the Stewards and Stipendiary Stewards (Rule No.101(i) of BTC Rules of Racing) during the hearing of the objection by the Stewards in the above race.

The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey Suraj Narredu. After deliberations, they decided to (a) fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for tendering false/misleading evidence (Rule No.202(vii) of BTC Rules of Racing) during the Stewards enquiry while they were considering his objection against Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of INSPIRED MOVE in the above race; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to him from 19-8-2010 to 31-8-2010 and should his Jockey's Licence be extended beyond 31-8-2010 the same shall remain suspended from 1-9-2010 to 18-9-2010 for his misconduct towards Stewards and Stipendiary Stewards (Rule No.101(i) of BTC Rules of Racing) during the hearing of the objection by the Stewards in the above race (not permitted to ride work).

5th Race: 169.The The Bangalore Summer Million (Grade III) - (About) 1600 Metres, 3 year old Indian Horses (foaled in 2007) (Terms) (11 Runners).

ICE BOUND (Imran Chisty) took a fly jump.

Jockey J.G. Sampson, the rider of SKYLINER, was reprimanded for momentarily shifting out and inconveniencing SUNNYS SECRET (Ladjadj Stephane) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres.

Ladjadj Stephane, the rider of SUNNYS SECRET, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing very severe interference to SALONI (Suraj Narredu) on his outside which in turn passed it on to CAVALRY CHARGE (Ryan Marshall) on the far side approaching the 250 Metres.

It was reported after the race that SUN DANCING (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 170. The Poonawalla Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu to ride THE SPARTAN in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of THE SPARTAN, reported that he lost his left stirrup soon after jumping out of the starting gates which he regained within a few strides.

DUCKWORTH (S. Chandrashekar) after jumping out did not raise a fluent gallop. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. Hence trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of THE SPARTAN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DOLCE VINO (S. Selvaraj) and SO MUCH MORE (Nasir Imam) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

7th Race: 171. The Allied Forces Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride MEGA JOY in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of SKY DRIVE, was reprimanded for shifting in and tightening AMAZING QUEEN (S. Zervan) on his inside which was checked by its rider. MEGA JOY (Ryan Marshall) travelling directly behind the latter had to be checked by its rider approaching the 800 Metres.

8th Race: 172. The Poonawalla Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Vinod Shinde to ride VOICE OF INDIA in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.


Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of CAPTAIN'S LOVER, reported that his mount was inclined to run out in the straight. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that STYLISH BAY (Gaurav Sapra) had splayed its right fore shoe during the race.
