1st Race: 181. The Udhagamandalam Plate - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge FRUIT KING as regards shoeing.
FRUIT KING (Khurshad Alam) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.5,000/- for the inconsistent pattern
of running of his charge ATTATURK, the winner of this race as compared to its
previous run in Race No.141, The Belmont Park Plate-(About) 1400 Metres, for
horses rated 00 to 25, on 17-7-2010 when ridden by Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu it
ran fifth.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g ATTATURK.
2nd Race: 182. The Track Lightning Trophy - (About) 1200
Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least
thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (8
Runners).
As Jockey Gaurav Sapra was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey S. Chandrashekar to ride OCEAN PRINCE in place of Jockey Gaurav Sapra the declared rider.
WALTZ AWAY (Imran Chisty) stumbled soon after jumping out of the starting gates thereby dislodging the rider. The riderless horse moved out and inconvenienced the horses on its outside viz. SPARK OF MYSTERY (Shadab Khan) and OCEAN PRINCE (S. Chandrashekar).
3rd Race: 183. The Udhagamandalam Plate - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey S. John to ride AMAZING PERFORMER without ascertaining the availability of the rider concerned who had already accepted to ride SPARK OF PASSION. Subsequently Jockey S. Mallikarjun was permitted to be declared on the said horse.
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of QUEENS COLOUR, reported that his
mount was hanging out in the straight. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to
get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures
before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that LEGEND REBORN (Ladjadj Stephane) had burst its blood vessel. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

4th Race: 184. The Patrons Cup - (About) 2000 Metres.
Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Britto to substitute Jockey Md. Shafiq to ride HAGGLER in place of the declared rider.
REZOOM (Suraj Narredu) drifted out under pressure in the straight.
GOLDEN QUEST (A. Imran Khan) drifted out under pressure in the straight.
HAGGLER (Md. Shafiq) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey A.Imran Khan, the rider of GOLDEN QUEST, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g REZOOM.
5th Race: 185. The Bangalore City Gold Cup (Grade III) -(About) 1200 Metres. Indian Horses 3 years old and over (Terms) (7 Runners).
Jockey S. John, the rider of KYLES OF BUTE, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.
It was reported after the race that PALAZZIO'S SUN burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

6th Race: 186. The Iflookscouldkill Plate - (About) 1600
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw STAR NEWS on
veterinary grounds as it was suffering from Fever. He was informed that he must
produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge SARANG (N. Harsha), the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No.90, The Skyline Plate-(About) 1600 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, run on 26th June 2010 when ridden by the same rider it ran unplaced. The trainer stated that (a) the last run of this horse was its first run after a long break of one year due to set back in training; (b) subsequent to the last run he gave sufficient gap of about 35 days; (c) in the last run it ran with a company of some younger horses; and (d) today he gave it a good chance to be in the fighting line but he himself was quite surprised at its fluent win. His explanations were noted.

7th Race: 187. The Doaba Stud Plate - (About) 1800 Metres.
Horses rated 60 to 85 (7 Runners).
Trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey P.S. Chouhan to ride ALGIERS without ascertaining the availability of the rider concerned who had already accepted to ride SUPERIOR SURPRISE in the above race. Subsequently Jockey S. Chandrashekar was permitted to be declared on the said horse.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar to withdraw ALGIERS on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that LUSH LASHES (S. John) had apparently splayed its right fore shoe during the race.
Trainer Mr. S.Ganapathy was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge STAR ASSEMBLY, the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No.170, The Poonawalla Stud Plate Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over, on 25th July 2010 when ridden by the same rider it ran unplaced. The trainer stated that (a) the horse had been running consistently over longer trips; (b) the last run it was over 1400 Metres; (c) today it ran over a distance of 1800 Metres; (d) the going had probably suited the horse; (e) it was a small field with a relatively moderate company; and (f) he ran it with the intention of earning stakes and he did not expect that it would win easily. His explanations were noted.

8th Race: 188. The Bold Gesture Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey S. Chandrashekar to ride BURDEN ON ME in place of the declared rider.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey J Pradeep to ride SOUTH PARADISE in place of the declared rider.
Jockey M. Ravi, the rider of TIROLINO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SPLENDID DANCER (G. Adarsh) on his outside approaching the 1200 Metres.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of NOT NOT SEVEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SPLENDID DANCER (G. Adarsh) approaching the 1200 Metres.
Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of BURDEN ON ME, reported that his mount was lugging in under pressure after entering the straight.
Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of BORN TO PERFORM, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres.

145. The Confucious Plate-Div.I- (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M.D. Praveen, the rider of SHE'S
FOR CASH, to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC
Rules of Racing) on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry
after the last race on 31st July 2010 and examined Jockey M.D. Praveen and
trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay. After deliberations, they decided (a) note the
explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay and (b) to suspend the Jockey's
Licence granted to Jockey M.D. Praveen from 19-8-2010 to 31-8-2010 should his
Jockey's Licence be extended beyond 31-8-2010, the same shall remain suspended
from 1-9-2010 to 23-9-2010 for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC
Rules of racing) on his mount SHE'S FOR CASH in the above race (permitted to
ride work).

Trainers M/s. C.D. Katrak and S. Padmanabhan were fined Rs.500/- each for making an error in the declaration of weight in respect of their charges ANDROMACHE and KILIMANJARO respectively.
