1st Race: 112. The Endorsement Plate-(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.500/- for using wrong coloured cap in respect of his charge KARNATAKA PRINCESS (M. Shahid). Subsequently it was rectified by changing to the correct coloured cap.

SACHIN (N. Harsha) planted and lost many lengths at the start and did not raise a fluent gallop during early part of the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

INTIZARA (Md. Sameer) after jumping out swerved towards left. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of INSPIRATOR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to BUGATTI GABRIELLA (R. Umesh) on his inside approaching the 800 Metres.

Jockey S. John, the rider of HOBSONS CHOICE, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey R. Umesh, the rider of BUGATTI GABRIELLA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LOVELY RED (Ahsan Qureshi) which had to be checked by its rider in the process it shifted out and bumped CORBETT QUEEN (S. Mallikarjun) approaching the 250 Metres.

2nd Race: 113. The Smart Chieftan Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (8 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge SPARK OF PASSION (Mohd. Ghouse). Subsequently`all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.

3rd Race: 114. The V.G. Saravanam Memorial Cup -Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners).

LESTER (N. Harsha) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped GOOD COMPANION (Vivek) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

4th Race: 115.The Young Rajput Plate-(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of JEYEM, reported that his mount was hanging in very badly inspite of his best efforts to keep it on an even course thereby collided with false rails approaching the 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

5th Race: 116. The Basque Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of THE LAST SAMURAI, reported that his saddle shifted over the withers approaching the 1500 Metres. After due examination of the equipment, trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey S. John, the rider of LUSH LASHES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NATIVE TALENT.

6th Race: 117. The Maharaja's Cup - (Grade II) - (About) 2200 Metres. For 4-years-old and over (8 Runners).

COTSWOLD ARMS (S. Zervan) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SPARK OF GOLD, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz.:

7th Race: 118. The Broadacres Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

It was observed that CAYENNE (S. Zervan) did not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres.

8th Race: 119. The V.G. Saravanam Memorial Cup -Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners).

SUN ZONE (S. Ramesh) stood flatfooted and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

YOU'RE WONDERFUL (Suraj Narredu) jumped out awkwardly and bumped ROYAL PLAYER (Ladjadj Stephane) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

SUNNYLAND (Harish) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right fore coronet.

9th Race: 120. The Broadacres Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge DREAM PARK as regards shoeing.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of ROMANCE IN THE AIR was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in and tightening ALPHA BABY ( J.G. Sampson) on his inside which had to be checked by its rider. MUSIC FOREVER
(Amyn Merchant) and FANTABULOUS PRINCE ( S.John) which were traveling directly behind also had to be checked by their respective riders approaching the 900 metres.

Jockey S.John the rider of FANTABULOUS PRINCE was fined Rs. 2000/- for shifting out and causing interference to LOGANS RUN (Vinod Shinde) and further shifting out and bumping ALARIC( P.S.Chouhan) on his outside approaching 300 metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu the rider of FALMING LAMBORGINI was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SPARK OF ISIS (Ch.K.Chary) on his inside approaching the 100 metres.

Jockey J G Sampson ( ALPHA BABY) was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SPARK OF ISIS ( Ch.K.Chary) on his outside approaching the 100 metres.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of FLAMING LAMBORGINI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

95. The Honeyday Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. For horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners)

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Amyn Merchant to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount YOURE ROCKING in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Saturday, 3rd July 2010 and examined trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah and Jockey Amyn Merchant. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah ; and (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Amyn Merchant from 13-7-2010 to 24-7-2010 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) on his mount YOURE ROCKING in the above race (permitted to ride work).

SECOND DAY, WEDNESDAY, 19TH MAY, 2010.

10. The Mysore Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45
The Stewards of the B.T.C. at their meeting held on 3rd July 2010 considered the appeal dated 11-6-2010 filed by Jockey A.Ashok Kumar against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., in suspending his Jockey's licence from 5-7-2010 to 4-8-2010 and he be not permitted to ride work during the period of suspension of his Jockey's Licence, for contravention of Rule No.159(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount MISS RUBY in the above race.

They examined Jockey A.Ashok Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to (a) modify the punishment in that his Jockey's licence shall stand suspended from 13-7-2010 to 12-8-2010 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) on his mount MISS RUBY in the above race (permitted to ride work); and (b) to forfeit the appeal fee of Rs.2,500/- paid by him.

The Stewards of the B.T.C. at their meeting held on 3rd July 2010 considered the appeal dated 11-6-2010 filed by trainer Mr.S.Ravi Shankar against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., in suspending his trainer's licence from 5-7-2010 to 4-8-2010 for not running his charge MISS RUBY on its merits in Race no 10 of the Mysore Summer Races 2010 and thereby contravening Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing.

They examined trainer S.Ravi Shankar. After deliberations, they decided to (a) modify the punishment in that his trainer's licence shall stand suspended from 13-7-2010 to 12-8-2010 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory running of his charge MISS RUBY in the above race; and (b) to forfeit the appeal fee of Rs.2,500/- paid by him.
