1st Race: 189. The Santorini Star Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (9 Runners).

KUNIGAL STAR (Mohammed Shoaib) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mahmood Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

SPARK OF KNIGHT (S. John) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 900 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f BALMORAL CASTLE.

2nd Race: 190. The Tokyo Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses
rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over, (to be ridden by Indian Jockeys claiming allowances who have not ridden a winner) (12 Runners).

MOMENT OF TRUTH (B. Parvez Pasha) planted in the starting gates and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

AETIUS (R. Pradeep) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f SUMMER WINE.

3rd Race: 191.The Mystic Memory Plate -(About) 1100 Metres.
Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge LAD DIVA as regards shoeing.

SACHIMORE (Mohammed Shoaib) was very fractious inside the gates, reared up and sat down for a considerable period of time and also injured itself on its right quarters and left hip. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

LAD DIVA (B.L. Paswan) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates and inconvenienced WYNDHAM (S. Zervan).
Jockey C. Alford, the rider of GAZAKI, reported that within 100 Metres of the start, the sircingle snapped and his saddle shifted back. An enquiry is being held into the above incident.

GAZAKI (C. Alford) was impounded at 4.55 p.m. for veterinary examination. The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to be trotting lame at 4.55 p.m. on left hind due to sprained quarters. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

4th Race: 192. The Maj. Newton Davis Memorial Cup - Div.II - (About)1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge MONTEDORO as regards shoeing.

JALDI (P.S. Chouhan) stood flat footed in the gates and lost few lengths. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey M.Rajesh Kumar, the rider of MILAGRO, reported that his saddle shifted back approaching the 900 Metres. After due examination of the equipment trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of CITRALI, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course passing the 300 Metres.

It was reported after the race that the right hind shoe of SUPREMACY (SantoshKumarDas) had apparently come of during the race.

Jockey Sunny Chinoy, the rider of CON ARTISTE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

5th Race: 193. The Lively Emprey Plate - (About) 2000 Metres.
Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).

Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge YAMAS as regards claiming allowance.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw GUNPOWDER (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from severe Urticaria. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Ladjadj Stephane, the rider of ROYAL PRODIGY, reported that his mount suddenly veered out towards outer track passing the 1800 Metres and was repeatedly changing its legs during the race as such he stopped riding in the final 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SUNNY CONNEXION, reported that his mount was not striding out fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

An enquiry is being held into the excessive use of whip by Jockey G.Y.

6th Race: 194. The Leading Owner Cup - Div.II - (About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SPARK OF BRONTE as regards shoeing.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge CORLEONE as regards claiming allowance.

ONE TRACK MINDED (B. Sreekanth) stood flat footed in the gates and lost few lengths. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

JAMAICAN BOLT (Md. Shafiq) jumped awkwardly outwards.

SHE'S FOR CASH (Amyn Merchant) took a fly jump.

CORLEONE(S. Zervan) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of ZANZARA, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 250 Metres due to a closely packed field.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards ordered and held an enquiry with regard to the severe interference caused by Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of BRUNETTA to the horses on his inside viz. ASTON PARK (M. Ravi) KRIPA (P.S. Chouhan) and SPARK OF BRONTE (S. John - placed 2nd by the Judge) soon after jumping out of the starting gates. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined Jockey Suraj Narredu, M. Ravi, P.S. Chouhan and S. John. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to not to alter the placings declared by the Judge.

An enquiry is being held into the careless riding (Rules 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) of Jockey Suraj Narredu on his mount BRUNETTA in the above race.

7th Race: 195. The Capricorn Stud Plate - Div.I-(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge DOLCE VINO as regards shoeing.

Jockey S. Britto was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge VALID EXPECTATION.

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of CLASSICAL DANCER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to STILL WILL (P.S. Chouhan) on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of ANOTHER DESTINY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DOLCE VINO (R. Vaibhav) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.

It was reported after the race that STILL WILL (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CELESTIAL SON (M. Prabhakaran) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c OPTIMUS PRIME.

8th Race: 196. The V.T. Velu Memorial Cup -(About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge STONE OF DESTINY.

It was reported after the race that ENDURING STAR (P.S. Chouhan) pulled up lame on right hind due to sprained stifle joint. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S. John, the rider of TOMSK, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to STONE OF DESTINY (S. Zervan) on his inside in the final 100 Metres of the race.
