1st Race: 9. The Malenahalli Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners)

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of BOUNTY HUNTER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

2nd Race : 10. The Mount Everest Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (12 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride INTRIGUE in place of the declared rider.

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of OPTIMUS ZONE, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course approaching the 150 Metres.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of INTRIGUE, was reprimanded for repeatedly looking back in the last 200 Metres.

FIELD OF DREAM (M. Ravi) drifted out passing the 400 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

3rd Race: 11. The Allaire Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Darius Byramji to substitute Jockey S. John to ride BEN TEN in place of the declared rider.

ROYAL FORTUNE (N. Rajesh) after jumping out of the gates swerved towards the left and dislodged the rider. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b c BEN TEN.

4th Race: 12. The M.N. Prakash Memorial Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to substitute Jockey S. John to ride CITRALI in place of the declared rider.

Jockey S. John, the rider of CITRALI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to OCEANIC WIND (Naushad Alam) on his inside approaching the 150 Metres.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of AILSA, reported that he lost his whip at the post.

5th Race: 13. The Usha Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao to substitute Jockey B. Prakash to ride ASTOUNDING GALLOP in place of the declared rider.

GOLDEN QUEST (A.M. Tograllu) could not get a clear run due to the crowding of the field approaching the 900 Metres.

GOLDEN QUEST (A.M. Tograllu) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind cannon.

6th Race: 14. The Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Cup (Grade III) - (About) 1400 Metres. For 4 years old and over (Terms) (11 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to substitute Jockey B. Prakash to ride D'ARTAGNAN in place of the declared rider.

Jockey S. John, the rider of KYLES OF BUTE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to COULEUR ROUGE (Ladjadj Stephan) on his outside which in turn passed it on to SILKEN THOMAS (Naushad Alam) approaching the 300 Metres.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was questioned regarding the running of his charge SPEARHEAD (N.T. Callow). The trainer stated that (a) he had instructed the rider to ride it from behind as he felt that the initial pace over a distance of 1400 Metres would be too fast for his charge to handle and that he was satisfied with the riding of his charge by Jockey N.T.Callow; (b) In the past it had performed well in long distance races by running in the front bunch; (c) he was planning to run it in races over longer trips which would suit its style of running; and (d) it would be instructed to be ridden in a similar fashion of running in front bunch in such races . His explanations were noted.

7th Race: 15. The Usha Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (10 Runners)

DOLCE VINO (R. Vaideeshwaran) accidentally stumbled approaching the 1000 Metres.

CASH IS KING (Vivek) sustained a cut injury on left bulb of heel.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ACCURATE.

8th Race: 16. The M.N. Prakash Memorial Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to substitute Jockey S. John to ride SWEET TIMER in place of the declared rider.

Approaching the 800 Metres, in a very tightly packed field THE SENATOR (A.R. Pradeep) accidentally hit the false rails whereby the rider got momentarily unbalanced, had to check his mount, shifted out thereby taking out CORLEONE (Naushad Alam), ENDURANCE (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his outside. A chain reaction followed in that DUCHESS OF YORK (N.T. Collow) and SUPREME ARCH (Deep Shanker) moving on the far side also had to be checked by their respective riders and shifted out.

THE SENATOR (A.R. Pradeep) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right bulb of the heel.

JUNO (Ladjadj) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right flank.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f JUNO.

9th Race: 17. The Aureole Time Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (12 Runners)

Jockey Ch.K. Chary, the rider of BLACK BEAUTY, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of GOOD GIFT was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 300 Metres

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of TRILLION WIN, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing STAR LEAGUE (N. Rajesh) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of MERCUTIO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.
