1st Race : 1. The Welcome Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (12 Runners)
KNOCK OUT (A. Ashhad Asbar) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
EVERSHINE (S. Mallikarjun) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
SUN N MOON (Amyn Merchant) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
LONDON EYE (Valdir De Sousa) sustained cut injury on right hock.
2nd Race: 2. The Sha Tin Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
FLIP YOUR DESTINY (N. Rajesh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of JEYEM, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and tightening the horses on his inside viz. DASHING BOY (B. Nayak) and BRIGADE'S PASSION (Deepak Singh) approaching the 1000 Metres.
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of JEYEM, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting
in and causing interference to QUICK SILVER (Deep Shanker) which had to be
checked by its rider approaching the 250 Metres.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SMART EDITION placed Third by the Judge objected against Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of JEYEM placed Second for "coming in sharply on QUICK SILVER who in turn came on to me when my filly was in full running and thereby I had to stop riding which cost me a certain Second place". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to over rule the objection.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of BIG SECRET to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii)) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Sunday, 20TH May 2012 and examined trainer Mr. Karan Singh and Jockey M.A. Milan. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) severely caution trainer Mr. Karan Singh as to the future running of his charges; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey M.A. Milan from 30-5-2012 to 3-6-2012 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii)) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount BIG SECRET in the above race (permitted to ride work).
3rd Race : 3. The Rare Gem Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (8 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw MAGNANIMOUS (J. Pradeep) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of FIRELIGHT was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DANCE WITH ME (Ryan Marshall) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of WANDERING WAYS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to FIRELIGHT (R. Vaibhav) on his outside which in turn passed it on to DANCE WITH ME (Ryan Marshall) approaching the 1100 Metres.
FIRELIGHT (R. Vaibhav) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
4th Race: 4. The Sha Tin Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
WINGS OF FLAME (M. Ravi) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaivour Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of STATELY DANCE, was reprimanded for
shifting out and inconveniencing SURPRISESUCCEEDING (R. Bharath) on his outside
approaching the 1000 Metres.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of STATELY DANCE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the race.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of JAVANICA, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing SPECIAL (F.K. Shabuddin) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.
SUN IN FRISCO (Anjar Alam) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
5th Race: 5. The Littleover Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge APOLLO KING (Ryan Marshall) (1st infringement).
SOUND (F.K. Shabuddin) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MELLONSDELIGHT.
6th Race: 6. The Royal Command Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
PRINCE CHARMING (K. Raja Rao) after jumping out was reluctant to raise a fluent gallop, swerved towards the left, went on to the sand track and completed the course on the outer sand track. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.
Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of RISE TO GLORY, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing RAJA'S PET (P. Mani) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.
BUZZWORD (G. Adarsh) ran detached from the filed. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f EASTERN SUMMIT.
7th Race: 7. The Mayor's Cup Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners)
Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge BLUE STAR. Subsequently "all black" emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of RADICAL ATTRACTION, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing SUNDAY CRUZ (M.F. Ali Khan) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of RADICAL ATTRACTION, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 400 Metres. After due examination of the equipment Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

8th Race: 8. The Littleover Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of SUPER SPECTACLE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of STORMYRED was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out as a result COWBOY CAL (Imran Chisty) in between was interfered while passing the 400 Metres.
9th Race: 9. The Krishnaraja Wadiyar Cup-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners)
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of MAGNITUDE STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a proper course between the 700 Metres and 600 Metres.
Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of SUNSTONE, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

10th Race: 10. The Mayor's Cup Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners)
ONE TIME MAGIC (A. Ashhad Asbar) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
GORGEOUS GOLD (Irvan Singh) was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing RED ADMIRAL (R. Koch) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.
Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi and Jockey P. Trevor were questioned regarding the running and riding of COCKTAIL CIRCUIT. The Trainer stated that he had instructed the rider to ride his own race and win the race. Soon after the race he questioned the rider who informed him that (a) his mount was a long striding horse; (b) did not have good initial speed; (c) due to closely packed field he could not get a clear run between the 1200 Metres and 1000 Metres and again approaching the 800 Metres (d) after entering the straight he rode out and the horse could only finish a far away 2nd. The Trainer added that after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the race and based on his observation of the running of the race he was inclined to accept the explanation tendered by the rider. He said that his charge has won a maiden race here and then when he took it to Mumbai and participated in a Million Race it performed very poorly. The Jockey when questioned corroborated the statement as regards the running of the race and his handling of his mount. Their explanations were noted.
