1st Race: 81. The Mahalakshmi Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).
ROYAL ADMIRAL (S. Babu) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
SUPER EXCITED (P.S. Chouhan) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
SON OF THE SUN (R. Anand) after jumping out swerved towards the left and lost manyh lengths. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
It was reported after the race that SABALA (Imran Chisty) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
DASHING BOY (T.S. Jodha) sustained a cut injury on left hock.
ANGEL QUEEN (N. Ramesh Kumar) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon.
MOVE FAST (M. Ravi) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.
2nd Race: 82. The V.G. Sarvanam Memorial Cup Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (8 Runners).
SANFRANCISCO GIRL (Danish Ali Khan) was permitted to be withdrawn as the horse could not be shod.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g HARD TO PIN DOWN.
3rd Race: 83. The Sans Craintes Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (9 Runners)
STAR PRESENCE (Vinod Shinde) was extremely fractious inside the starting gates, injured itself on left hock. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
THOUGHTS N ACTIONS (S. John) sustained injuries on both hock.
4th Race : 84. The His Majesty Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (12 Runners)
SAREETA (Neeraj Rawal) after jumping out, swerved towards the left, did not raise a fluent gallop and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.
Trainer Mr. P.Shoff was fined Rs.2,000/- for changing the girth on his charge MACEDONIAN (B. Prakash) after weighing out and as a result the rider weighed in 700 grams more in relation to weighing out.
CAESARS STAR (Amyn Merchant) sustained gum injury.
5th Race: 85. The V.G. Sarvanam Memorial Cup Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (9 Runners).
INDRAVATI (P. Kiran Rai) was extremely fractious at the gates, reared up and flipped over hitting the left side of the head prior to the start. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ANNA (Mohammed Feroz) sustained a cut injury on left hock.
GROUND MARSHAL (N.Ramesh Kumar) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

6th Race: 86. The Fillies Championship Stakes (Grade I) - (About) 1600 Metres. For 3-year-old Indian Fillies (foaled in 2009) (Terms) (13 Runners)
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for failing to declare his charge SPIRITUAL STAR to start for this race after having accepting with it.
Trainer Mr. Shezad Abbas was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for failing to declare his charge VIBRATIONS to start for this race after having accepting with it.
Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of MAPLE STAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly bumping MZIMA (Suraj Narredu) on his inside between 1500 Metres and 1300 Metres.
Jockey Fr'co F Dasilva, the rider of NICKEL CHROME, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to CHASE THE SUN (S. John) on his inside passing the 700 Metres.
MAPLE STAR (B. Sreekanth) sustained bleeding cut injury on right hind cannon.
PORTIA (B. Prakash) sustained a cut injury on right hind cannon.

STILL WILL (Khurshad Alam) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
It was reported after the race that STILL WILL (Khurshad Alam) pulled up lame on right fore due to a sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that SUNSTORM (B.L. Paswan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8th Race : 88 The Elusive Pimpernel Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (13 Runners)
ARABIAN KING (P. Trevor) reared up and fell down before the start. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
FANTASTIC STAR (B. Sreekanth) was extremely fractious at the gates whereby the rider was injured and certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
PRINCE OF STEALTH (T.S. Jodha) after jumping out did not raise a gallop and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.
It was observed that the blinkers on PRINCE OF KINTYRE (M. Mark) had shifted out of position soon after the start, thus obstructing the vision of the horse and the horse ran detached from the field. On being questioned the trainer stated that blinkers were fastened properly and further the trainer and the rider stated that the horse was very fractious at the gates and that must have been the reason for the blinkers to shift out of position. The equipment was examined after the race and was found to have been well maintained and as such no action was taken beyond noting the incident.
MR CARPE (S. Zervan) suddenly shied away under the whip thereby totally unbalancing the rider who was dislodged from his mount passing the 200 Metres.
9th Race: 89. The Galilee Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Jockey S. Zervan was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the 8th race. As no suitable substitute Jockey was available, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to withdraw I FANCY YOU from the above race.
It was observed that the Cross Nose Band on SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) was not fastened properly. Subsequently it was set right before the start of the race. Hence Trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence.
STARSCREAM (Ryan Marshall) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of ELEGANT APPROACH reported that his saddle shifted back soon after jumping out of the starting gates and further shifted back after passing the 400 Metres, as such he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter. After Due examination of the saddle after the race, Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was fined Rs. 3000/- for faulty saddling.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g TACHYON.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of VALCANO, to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in the above Race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Sunday, 17th June 2012, and examined Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla and Jockey P.S. Chouhan. After deliberations, the Stewards decided (a) To note the explanation tendered by Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla; and (b)suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey P.S. Chouhan from 27-6-2012 to 1-7-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.25,000/- for unsatisfactory riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount VALCANO in the above Race (permitted to ride work).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Mudassar Nazar the rider of FREE LAW, to the Stewards for careless riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in the above Race. The Stewards held an enquiry on Sunday, 17th June 2012, and examined Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar, Spokesman for Jockey Mudassar Nazar and Jockey Mudassar Nazar himself. After deliberations, the Stewards decided suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Mudassar Nazar from 27-6-2012 to 1-7-2012 (both days inclusive) for careless riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount FREE LAW in the above Race (permitted to ride work).

The Stewards held an enquiry on Sunday, 17th June 2012, and examined Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala himself and also as Spokesman for Jockey Anjar Alam. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) note the explanation tendered by Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala; (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Anjar Alam from 27-6-2012 to 7-7-2012 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount TIBERIUS in the above Race (permitted to ride work).
