(90 - 97)

Going : Good

Penetrometer Reading : 3.5 Cms

False Rails: Average width of 3 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 5.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the Winning Post.

1st Race: 90. The Camineto Plate- Div.II-(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (8 Runners).

COPPER RED (A. Ashok Kumar ) was running out till rounding the final bend and ran detached thereafter. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to take appropriate remedial measures and also ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of SUMMERS BREEZE, was fined Rs.3, 000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f BOLD NATURE.

2nd Race: 91. The Sweet Memories Plate-(About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (5 Runners).

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of MONREALE, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course passing the 900 Metres.

3rd Race: 92. The Ramkirpal Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners).

ICY GREY (K. Raja Rao) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of OUR LOVE, was fined Rs.,1,000/- for suddenly changing course towards the inside in the final 200 Metres for no apparent reason.

Jockey Kuldeep Singh, the rider of CARESS, reported that his saddle shifted forward soon after jumping out of the starting gates and further it went towards the withers after passing 600 Metres whereby he could neither exercise sufficient control over his mount nor could offer any assistance to his mount. As a result rounding the final bend it shifted out and took out OUR LOVE (T.S. Jodha) and MAVERICAL (H.G. Rathod) on the outside. On examination of the equipment immediately after the race it was observed to have been properly fastened and that breast belt had also been used. In view of the above no further action was taken and the Trainer was further informed to take extra care to avoid recurrence of such in future.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ZERMATT.

4th Race: 93. The Camineto Plate- Div.I-(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (7 Runners).

FRONT RUNNER (Suraj Narredu) was extremely fractious inside the gates and sat back and sustained injury on left gaskin. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders.

HAUTE ECOLE (P.S. Chouhan) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of IMPRESSIVE BOLT, reported that he got momentarily unbalanced as his mount jumped awkwardly inwards.

THUNDERBAY (Fr'co F DaSilva) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced ANGELS FLAIR (M. Ravi) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

BANK ON ME (Tauseef Ahmed) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey Fr'co F DaSilva, the rider of THUNDERBAY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming in sharply and causing severe interference to GREEN BAY (A. Sandesh) and IMPRESSIVE BOLT (Imran Chisty) on his inside passing the 500 Metres.

MANY WISHES (Amyn Merchant) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.

5th Race: 94. The Chief Justice's Cup - (Grade III) - (About) 1800 Metres. For 4-years-old and over (13 Runners).

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of RIDGEWAY, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

SOUTHERN KING (Fr'co F DaSilva) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

6th Race: 95. The Regency Stud Plate - (About) 1200 Metres
Horses rated 60 to 85 (10 Runners).

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of NESSIE, reported that he lost his whip approaching the final 150 Metres.

Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of KRIPA, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of HILLFIGER trained by Mr. Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey Anjar Alam.

7th Race: 96. The M. Ali Asker Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners).

As Jockey J. Pradeep was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to substitute Jockey Khurshad Alam to ride YOURE CHILUBULI in place of Jockey J. Pradeep the declared rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to withdraw ANOTHER DESTINY (Deepak Singh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from Colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of DANCING EMERALDS, was fined Rs.3,000/- for causing interference to LAD STAR (Valdir De Sousa) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres and again approaching the 500 Metres whereby LAD STAR (Valdir De Sousa) brushed the false rails.

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of A MOVE TO REMEMBER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to FORTHCOMING (Suraj Narredu) on his inside passing the 800 Metres.

8th Race: 97. The Aboline Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses
rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

MOUNTAIN STORM (R Anand) jumped out awkwardly, did not raise a fluent gallop and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. V Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one mock race on a race day on the race track.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of ICESTONE to the Stewards for riding an incompetent race (Rule No 161(ii)) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 24th June, 2012 and examined Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala and Jockey S. Selvaraj. After deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey S. Selvaraj from 4th July, 2012 to 11th July, 2012 (both days inclusive) for riding an incompetent race Rule No 161(ii)) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount ICESTONE in the above race (permitted to ride work) and (b) caution Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala as to the selection of riders for his charges in future.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to deputise on behalf of trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah who was unable to attend the races.
