(107 - 114) Going : Good Penetrometer Reading : 3.5 Cms. (False Rails: Average width of 3 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 6.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the Winning Post) 1st Race: 107. The Moonlight Romance Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (9 Runners). Jockey Ramandeep S Bal, the rider of SYMBOL OF SUCCESS, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing ENCOURAGER (Vinod Shinde) on his inside passing the 300 Metres. SUN N MOON (Ranjeet Singh) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. Jockey S. John, the rider of TOWERS OF HANOI, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race whereby it brushed the false rails passing the 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it had sustained a cut injury on right stifle. LONDON EYE (Valdir De Sousa) sustained gum injury. 2nd Race: 108. The Pendragon Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (12 Runners). Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge AEROSMITH (N. Rajesh). Subsequently "all black" emergency colours were permitted to be used. It was observed that in a closely packed field DIVINE DELIVERANCE (Suraj Narredu) shied away from the horse on its outside SANDSTORM (P. Trevor) thereby it shifted in and caused interference to CHIRON (S. Zervan) which in turn passed it on to ENTERTAINER (Neeraj Rawal) on its inside before passing the red marker post. Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of ENTERTAINER, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race. Jockey Fr'co F DaSilva, the rider of SMOKEHEAD, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race. VIEW FROM ABOVE (M. Noornabi) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SANDSTORM, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). SMOKEHEAD (Fr'co F DaSilva) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern. 3rd Race: 109. The Moonlight Romance Trophy - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. However trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again. Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of AMITAYUS, reported that his mount was hanging 'in' in the final 200 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. Imtiaz Sait was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again. Jockey D.Gnaneshwar, the rider of FIRELIGHT, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field. Jockey D.Gnaneshwar, the rider of FIRELIGHT, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres. Jockey Ramandeep S Bal, the rider of BALANCE OF NATURE, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NOCTURNAL HUNTER. 4th Race: 110. The Richelieu Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners). Jockey M. Ravi, the rider of PURPLE GLOW, was reprimanded for travelling wide from 1600 Metres till about the 1000 Metres for no apparent reason. RICH RADIANT (Aqeed Waheed) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 1000 Metres. DARK AVENGER (A. Imran Khan) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 1000 Metres. SIMPLY STYLISH (C. Rajendra) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TINTINNABULATION. 5th Race: 111. The Y.S. Surender Memorial Cup -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (12 Runners). As Jockey A. Imran Khan was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji (deputizing for Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji) to substitute Jockey Imran Chisty to ride ONE LIFE TO LOVE in place of the declared rider. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of MIDTOWN MAGIC, reported that his mount brushed the starting gates while jumping out thereby it came and inconvenienced ONE LIFE TO LOVE (Imran Chisty) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates. 6th Race: 112. The Mauritius Pearl Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners). Jockey R.K. Mahesh, the rider of YAWAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper use of the whip on his mount when his mount refused to jump out from the starting gates. YAWAR (R.K. Mahesh) planted and did not take any part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track. Jockey S. Babu, the rider of SICILY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide till about rounding the final bend for no apparent reason. GROUND MARSHAL (N. Ramesh Kumar) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. It was reported after the race that SICILY (S. Babu) pulled up lame on left fore due to sore frog. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ADALWIN. 7th Race: 113. The New Market Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over (12 Runners). SOUTHERN PEARL (Valdir De Sousa) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced GOOD GIFT (M. Noornabi) soon after jumping out of the starting gates. Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SMART EDITION, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing DIVINE TOUCH (N. Rajesh) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates. Jockey Shrikant Kamble, the rider of ANGEL QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). 8th Race: 114. The Mauritius Pearl Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners). Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in sparing the services of his apprentice Jockey M. Prabhakaran to Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan to ride ALPHABET in the above race when he himself had declared him to ride his charge REGAL HOSTESS. Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan to declare Jockey M. Noornabi to ride ALPHABET. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to withdraw MAGNETIC POWER on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right hind due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. APARANTA (T.S. Jodha) pulled up lame approaching the 400 Metres, the rider having to dismount who got down from his mount. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was reported to be lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. ALPHABET (M. Noornabhi) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. It was reported after the race that the right hind shoe of LUCKY SAM (Vivek) had apparently splayed during the race. Jockey Imran Chisty , the rider of ROYAL SPIRIT, placed 3rd by the Judge objected against Jockey Vivek, the rider of LUCKY SAM placed 1st for "in the last 300 Metres the winner who was travelling outside kept on coming in whereby I had to stop my mount and shift my ground where I lost 5 lengths which cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of BOUNTY HUNTER place 2nd by the Judge objected against Jockey Vivek, the rider of LUCKY SAM , placed 1st for "In the last 200 Metres, the winner was coming on to me and he still continued to whip towards the left side of the horse due to which my horse shied and still came back with a re-run which cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
