1st Race: 55. The Noble Prince Plate - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of TRIPLE VICTORY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to VOLCANO (P.S. Chouhan) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

It was reported after the race that REBEL STAR (Shrikant Kamble) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

An Enquiry is being held into the running and riding of VOLCANO, trained by Mr. S. Inayathulla and ridden by Jockey P S Chouhan.

2nd Race : 56. The Southern Regent Trophy -(About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (9 Runners)

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw WELL KNOWN on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SMART STAR (B. Sreekanth) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced REFORMER (K.P.G. Appu) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

SAM'S PRIDE (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of ATTRIBUTE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

3rd Race: 57. The Epsom Plate - Div.III - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to withdraw SOVIET MELODY (H.G. Rathod) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

MUQTADIR (Fr'co F DaSilva) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of ENDURANCE, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of GROUND MARSHAL, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

It was reported after the race that SUPER GOLD (Vivek) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained sesmoidian ligament. Trainer Mr. S. Inatyathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr g ABSOLUT GREY.

4th Race: 58. The Noble Prince Plate - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (7 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan to withdraw ASTONISHING (P.S. Chouhan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HILL COUNTRY(Anjar Alam) reared up and flipped over in the starting gates and was lying down for a considerable period of time, struggling to get up as such sustained injury on fore head. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CORLEONE (Ramandeep S Bal) was injured on left fore knee and cannon in the starting gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

POINT TAKEN (M. Noornabi) was slowly away and did not raise a fluent gallop till about rounding the final bend. In view of its behaivour Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of FORTHCOMING, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to RED ADMIRAL (K. Chethana) which in turn passed to BRILLIANCE (B. Sreekanth) on his inside passing the 900 Metres.

Jockey B.V. Krishnan, the rider of DANCING EMERALDS, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing RED ADMIRAL (K. Chethana) on his inside approaching the 500 Metres.

5th Race: 59. The Karnataka Police Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey S. John to ride his charge SMILE ALL THE WAY without ascertaining the availability of the rider concerned who could not ride for the day. Hence permission was granted to him to substitute Jockey S. Zervan to ride SMILE ALL THE WAY in place of Jockey S. John the declared rider.

RED BOLT (M. Noornabi) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced CAPOTE (P. Trevor) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

DRAMATIC DANCER (A. Vishwanath) planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must no accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of SMILE ALL THE WAY, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing WILD NEXUS (P. Kiran Rai) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.

SMILE ALL THE WAY (S. Zervan) sustained gum injury.

RED BOLT (M. Noornabi) sustained gum injury.

6th Race: 60. The Epsom Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

It was reported after the race that GUN SALUTE (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

JAANVI (K.R. Rajesh) sustained bleeding cut injury on right shoulder.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g TIBERIUS.

An enquiry is being held into the interference caused by Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of FREE LAW to TIBERIUS (Anjar Alam) and JAANVI (K.R. Rajesh) approaching the 1000 Metres.

An Enquiry is being held into the running and riding of b g TIBERIUS, trained by Mr. Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Jockey Anjar Alam.


7th Race : 61. The Buck Passer Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (11 Runners)

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of WILL STAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to CHECK IN TIME (M. Mark) on his inside which in turn passed it on to LOYAL KING (Deep Shanker) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Deep Shanker, the rider of LOYAL KING, was reprimanded for shifting out and bumping CHECK IN TIME (M. Mark) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of WILL STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to DESERT DELIGHT (Shanth Kumar) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

8th Race: 62. The Epsom Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.1000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge MAGNOMICAL (H.G. Rathod). Subsequently `all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.

CATAMARAN (Sahanawaz) jumped awkwardly from the starting gates.

Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of HILLSTONE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing MAGNOMICAL (H.G. Rathod) on his inside passing the 800 Metres.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of AFRICAN QUEEN, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 600 Metres. After due examination of the equipment Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
