1st Race: 159. The Belmont Park Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners).

WONDER LASH (A. Ashok Kumar) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced the horses on the inside viz. A DANCETOREMEMBER (Deepak Singh) and VELVETINE (P. Trevor) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey M. Kumar, the rider of CARESS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out KNOCK OUT (Valdir De Sousa) on his outside which in turn passed it on to BENEDICT (J.H. Christopher) rounding the final bend.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of VELVETINE, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 200 Metres. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of KNOCK OUT, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd Infringement).

SUPER EXCITED (R. Bharath) sustained a cut injury on left knee.

BENEDICT (J.H. Christopher) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.

2nd Race: 160. The Rajah S.R.K. Ranga Row Memorial Cup - Div.II -(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old & over (9 Runners).

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of INVINCIBLE SHOT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming out and causing interference to PURPLE GLOW (B. Sreekanth) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of CATAMARAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to HILLSTONE (B.L.Paswan) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey R. Bharath, the rider of BESSIE, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.


Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of INVINCIBLE SHOT, reported that he accidentally struck BESSIE (R. Bharath) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres. While noting the incident, he was cautioned to be careful in future.

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of BRIGADE'S PRIDE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the race.

3rd Race: 161. The Astronomic Plate-Div.II- (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy for the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge RUSTY (A. Ramu) in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.126, The Kranji Plate-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres, horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over on 7th July 2012 when ridden by Jockey Valdir DeSousa it won the race and Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of RUSTY for unsatisfactory riding {Rule 161(ii)} of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on Sunday, 22nd July, 2012 and examined Mr. Amit Caddy, the trainer of the horse and Jockey A. Ramu. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) fine Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy Rs.10,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge RUSTY (A. Ramu) in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.126, The Kranji Plate-Div.I-(About) 1400 Metres, horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over on 7th July 2012 when ridden by Jockey Valdir DeSousa it won the race and (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey A. Ramu from 1-8-2012 to 10-8-2012 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing )on his mount RUSTY in the above race (permitted to ride work).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c ROYAL SPIRIT.

4th Race: 162. The Rajah S.R.K. Ranga Row Memorial Cup - Div.I -(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old & over (9 Runners).

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of LADS ABILITY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. JALDI (D. Gnaneshwar), BRABUS SPEED (P.S. Chouhan) which were checked by their respective riders. CAT LOGAN (S. Selvaraj) which was running directly behind BRABUS SPEED (P.S. Chouhan) had to be checked by its rider and brushed the false rails approaching the 1000 Metres.

LADS ABILITY (P. Trevor) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.

CAT LOGAN (S.Selvaraj) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock and left hind cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f EFFECTUAL.

5th Race: 163. The Karnataka Sub Area Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji (deputizing for Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji) was informed that Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge LOWNDES SQUARE.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ABSOLUTE MAJORITY, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.

6th Race: 164. The Confucious Plate-Div.I- (About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).

Jockey R. Anand, the rider of BETTER THAN BEST, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SUPER SPECTACLE (Neeraj Rawal) on his inside approaching the 400 Metres.

Jockey N. Rajesh, the rider of SEVEN HEAVEN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for persistently using his whip on the right thereby not exercising sufficient control on his mount and continuously boring SARANG (R. Vaideeshwaran) on his outside in the final 200 Metres of the race.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of STAR OF DESIRE, reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

SEVEN HEAVEN (N. Rajesh) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

7th Race: 165. The Astronomic Plate-Div.I- (About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

SUTTON PRINCE (Fr'co F DaSilva) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced BEAUTIFUL LIFE (Naushad Alam) on the inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Vivek, the rider of LUCKY SAM, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field.

SUMMER SUN (Valdir DeSousa) sustained a cut injury on right hind bulb of heel.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUMMER SUN.

8th Race: 166. The Confucious Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).

SACHIMORE (D.K. Ashish) reared up while jumping out of the starting gates.

It was reported after the race that WINDSOR PARK (P.S. Chouhan) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
