1st Race: 132.The Young Rajput Plate- Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was fined Rs.1, 000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge PENDOLINO (C. Harish). Subsequently "all black" emergency colours were permitted to be used.

PENDOLINO (C. Harish) jumped out awkwardly and inconvenienced MOUNTAIN TRAIN (C. Umesh) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

PEPPR (Shrikant Kamble) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of A GAME TO REMEMBER was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

2nd Race: 133. The N.M. Lingaraju Memorial Trophy - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (5 Runners).

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of IBELIEVEINMIRACLES, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of IBELIEVEINMIRACLES, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper practice of hitting the horse with his hand in the final 200 Metres of the race.

3rd Race: 134. The Smart Chieftan Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (11 Runners).

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of VELVETINE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in an improper attire to the weighing room for the days races.

LITTLE MAESTRO (Ranjeet Singh) after jumping out swerved towards left, went on to the sand track and finished the race on the sand track thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ICELANDER.

4th Race: 135. The Endorsement Plate-(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

PERFECT SPEED (Irvan Singh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

SUN RICH (A. Ashok Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced DIVINE STRIKE (C. Umesh) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of OUR LOVE, reported that he could not get a clear run in the early part of the race due to a closely packed field.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of SERENGETI, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 1000 Metres due to the crowding of the field.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of STORM THE FIELD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SERENGETI (M. Noornabi) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of NERON, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MAVERICAL (J.H. Christopher) on his inside approaching the 600 Metres.

GOL MATOL (Bhanu P Singh) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind pastern.

5th Race: 136. The Young Rajput Plate- Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of SNOW ANGEL, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing LA CLIQUE (K.R. Rajesh) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey K.R. Rajesh, the rider of LA CLIQUE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to the horses on his outside viz. WALTZ AWAY (Mohammed Shoaib), STARSCREAM (Imran Chisty), RED ADMIRAL (D.K.Ashish) and IMPRESSIVEATTITUDE (Syed Asgar) passing the 1000 Metres.

It was reported after the race that LA CLIQUE (K.R. Rajesh) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained tendon and sustained bleeding cut injury on right gaskin. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SO SUPER.

6th Race: 137. The Novotel Maharaja's Cup - (Grade II) - (About) 2200 Metres. For 4 and 5 years old and over (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to withdraw ALLEZ VITE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to cellulitis. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the I, II & III placed horses viz.

7th Race: 138. The Broadacres Stud Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Jockey Sahanawaz, the rider of MAKE MY DAY was fined Rs. 1,000/- for suddenly shifting out passing 800 Metres whereby CAPOTE (P. Trevor) moving from behind had to be checked its rider; further ICE MINT (S. Mallikarjun) running behind the latter also had to be checked by its rider.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race into the running of the race with particular reference to the very severe interference caused by Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of NESSIE (placed 2nd) to LAD FURY (Anjar Alam) on the outside which apart from interfering with MAKE MY DAY (Sahanawaz) on the far side got squeezed in between NESSIE (M. Noornabi) and MAKE MY DAY (Sahanawaz) and struck NESSIE (M Noornabi) and fell dislodging its rider. EQUANIMITY (Arshad Alam), which was running directly behind, jumped over the prostrated horse (LAD FURY) whereby its rider got totally unbalanced on his mount approaching the 300 Metres. The Stewards examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to disqualify NESSIE (M. Noornabi) from the above race and revised the order of placings as under:

LAD FURY (Anjar Alam) sustained bruises on right shoulder.

SWEET SURRENDER (N. Rajesh) sustained cut injury on right fore fetlock.

WILD NEXUS (P. Kiran Rai) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M. Noornabi to the Stewards for dangerous riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount, NESSIE in the above race, in that he shifted out and caused very severe interference to LAD FURY (Anjar Alam) on the outside which apart from interfering with MAKE MY DAY (Sahanawaz) on the far side got squeezed in between NESSIE (M. Noornabi) and MAKE MY DAY (Sahanawaz) and struck NESSIE (M Noornabi) and fell dislodging its rider. EQUANIMITY (Arshad Alam), which was running directly behind, jumped over the prostrated horse (LAD FURY) whereby its rider got totally unbalanced on his mount approaching the 300 Metres.The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Trainer Mr. Prasanna kumar, spokesman for Jockey M. Noornabi and Jockey's Anjar Alam & Sahanawaz. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey M. Noornabi from 18-7-2012 to 2-8-2012 (both days inclusive) for dangerous riding [Rule No. 161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount NESSIE in the above race [permitted to ride work].

8th Race: 139. The Justice P Medapa Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).

MOUNTAIN BEAUTY (R. Anand) was examined at the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to have sustained bleeding cut injuries on brisket and right hind cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Order. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

9th Race: 140. The Broadacres Stud Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

RED BOLT (M. Noornabi) which was fractious inside the gates, jumped out awkwardly from the gates and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of BRYANT PARK was fined Rs. 3,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to ACE BLOOD (P. Trevor), which in turn passed it on to ABSOLUT GREY (S. Zervan) on the inside passing the 1000 metres.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ACE BLOOD reported that he could get a clear run approaching 800 Metres due to a tightly packed field.

RED BOLT (M. Noornabi) sustained bleeding gum injury and also lost one incisor tooth.

ORDER OF THE STEWARDS

26. The Chamundi Hills Cup-(About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 00 to 25

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd. in continuation of their enquiry held on 30-6-2012 into the running and riding of BEJEWELLED BEAUTY trained by Trainer Mr. Rakesh and ridden by Jockey Md. Sameer held an enquiry at their Meeting held on Saturday, 7th July 2012 and considered the following:

(a) The Minutes of the Meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., dated 14-6-2012 referring Jockey Md. Sameer to the Stewards of Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., for further action for not permitting his mount BEJEWELLED BEAUTY to run on its merit in the above said race (Rule No.159(a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing);
(b) The Charge Sheet dated 2-7-2012 issued to Trainer Mr. Rakesh by the Stipendiary Stewards to the effect that he did not run his charge BEJEWELLED BEAUTY on merits in the above said race (Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing)

They examined Trainer Mr. Rakesh and Jockey Md. Sameer. After viewing the CCTV replay of the race and considering the evidence presented by the Trainer and the Jockey concerned during the enquiry, the Stewards decided to:

(a) modify the charge against Jockey Md. Sameer as contravention of Rule No.159(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in connection with his riding on his mount BEJEWELLED BEAUTY in the above said race and consequently to suspend his Jockey's licence from 17-7-2012 to 31-8-2012 (both days inclusive) (not permitted to ride work);
(b) modify the charge against Trainer Mr. Rakesh as unsatisfactory running of his charge BEJEWELLED BEAUTY in the above said race and consequently to fine him Rs.10,000/-
