1st Race: 199. The Udhagamandalam Plate Div.II- (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of MOLLY MALONE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to BLACK BLOSSOM (R. Vaideeshwaran) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gate.
Jockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of SOUND OF POWER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SHINNING FAME (Ramandeep S Bal) on his outside soon after jumping out of starting gate.
Jockey Ramandeep S Bal, the rider of SHINNING FAME, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of STYLE OF SIGNATURE, was reprimanded for dropping hands in the final stages of the race.
It was reported that after the race that BLACK BLOSSOM (R. Vaideeshwaran) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained tendon. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it a gain.
GOOD GIFT (R. Bharath) sustained gum injury.
MOVE FAST (B. Sreekanth) sustained cut injury on left hind cannon.
I FANCY YOU (Mudassar Nazar) sustained cut injury on left hock and cannon.
2nd Race: 200. The Iflookscouldkill Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
As Jockey Ryan Marshall could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagements due to the reason beyond his control, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji to substitute Jockey D.K. Ashish to ride STARSCREAM in place of Jockey Ryan Marshall the declared rider.
SAVVY CONCEPT (S. John) sustained gum injury.
3rd Race: 201. The Nanoli Stud Plate - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (9 Runners).
SAGANAKI (Fr'co F DaSilva) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was informed that he must not accept with the again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

4th Race: 202. The Bangalore City Gold Cup (Grade III) (About) 1200 Metres. For Indian Horses 3 years old and over (Terms) (8 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer J.S. Dhariwal (deputizing for Trainer Mr. P. Shroff) to substitute Jockey D.K. Ashish to ride CARIBBEAN QUEEN in place of Jockey Ryan Marshall the declared rider.
Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of CARIBBEAN QUEEN, reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.
Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of CARIBBEAN QUEEN, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey S. John, the rider of OPTIMUS PRIME placed I for "in the straight at the 200 Metres winner came from the inside and whipped on my stick which cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

5th Race: 203. The Track Lightning Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey R. Vaibhav to ride PROM QUEEN in place of Jockey Ryan Marshall the declared rider.
THE SCIENTIST (S. Selvaraj) was extremely fractious, reared up and fell on his back. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.

6th Race: 204. The Ministrella Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to
45 (12 Runners).
INDIAN PRIDE (Ramandeep S Bal) reared up as the gate opened and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of SIMPLY SUPER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for
shifting out and causing interference to INDIAN PRIDE (Ramandeep S Bal) on his
outside in the final 50 Metres of the race
Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of SIMPLETON, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of MR CARPE placed I for "coming in sharply approaching the 900 Metres due to which my horse wobbled and as such my horse lost its stride which cost me the race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
SIMPLY SUPER (Neeraj Rawal) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right fore cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MR CARPE.
7th Race: 205. The Udhagamandalam Plate Div.I- (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
As Jockey Afsar Khan was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 1st race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey S. Selvaraj to ride MAVERICAL in place of Jockey Afsar Khan, the declared rider.
SUN IN FRISCO (Nasir Imam) was extremely fractious, reared up and sat down for a considerable period of time and refused to remain in the gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.
DIVINE STRIKE (Vinod Shinde) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of MAVERICAL, was severely reprimanded for
not exercising sufficient control over his mount thereby allowing it to hit the
false rails passing the 1000 Metres and BRIGADE'S PASSION (S. John) which was
travelling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider to avoid striking
the front runner.
Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of MAVERICAL, reported that he lost his whip in
the final 50 Metres of the race.
JEYEM (Mudassar Nazar) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

143. The Wicket Keeping Legend Cup (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to
25
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Chetan Kalay, the rider of
BRIGADE'S SUPREME to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding {Rule No.161(ii) of
the BTC Rules of Racing} . The Stewards held an enquiry on 2nd August 2012 and
examined Trainer Mr. M.P Mahaesh and Mr. Y.S. Gautam, spokesman for Jockey S.
Chetan Kalay. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations
tendered by Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh; and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence
granted to Jockey S. Chetan Kalay from 16-8-2012 to 24-8-2012 (both days
inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding {Rule NO.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of
Racing} on his mount BRIGADE'S SUPREME in the above race (permitted to ride
work).
