1st Race : 1. The Welcome Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Bangalore based Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (12 Runners)
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of TONY MONTANA, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing ONE OF A KIND (A. Ashok Kumar) on his outside passing the 800 Metres.
I'LL HAVE ONE MORE (A.R. Pradeep) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c NOBLE AND NICE.
2nd Race: 2. The Sha Tin Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw COOL HAND (A. Ramu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Bharath, the rider of WILL STILL was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and bumping SILVER STREET (P. Kiran Rai) whereby the rider got totally unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount before passing the red marker post.
Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of ICECREAM, was fined Rs.2,000/- for cutting across the field sharply before passing the red marker post.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f TRIPLE VICTORY.
3rd Race: 3. The Royal Command Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay to withdraw ENDURANCE (S. Chetan Kalay) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock joint. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
EXTRA SPARK (R. Anand) was examined on the way to the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to have sustained cut injury on left elbow, left fore fetlock and cut injury on left ear. Hence it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was fined a sum of Rs.5,000/- for the negligence in discharge of his duties as a trainer in not reporting the same to the authorities before his charge entered the paddock. He was also informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey N. Rajesh, the rider of AMAZON BAY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race. He was informed that a repetition of similar manner of riding will entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

4th Race: 4. The Littleover Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey R Anand, the rider of SHOOT OUT was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper riding on his mount during the race.

5th Race: 5. The Mayor's Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (15 Runners)
COOL APPROACH (Irvan Singh) jumped awkwardly inwards from the starting gates.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr g TURF STRIKER.
6th Race: 6. The Krishnaraja Wadiyar Cup-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners)
Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of ARCHIBALDO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and tightening the horses on his inside viz. TALISKER (M Rajesh Kumar) and CHUL BUL PANDY (Anjar Alam) passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of CAPE FERRAT, was questioned as to the reason for looking at his saddle repeatedly between the 200 Metres and 100 Metres He stated that he felt his saddle had slightly shifted back. On examination it was noted that the shifting of saddle was very marginal. However Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was cautioned to be careful in future.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of SUCCESSOR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
JERSEY GIRL (Imran Chisty) sustained deep cut injury on right hind fetlock joint.
SECRET PUNCH (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SUCCESSOR.
7th Race : 7. The Esquire Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (14 Runners)
CHARLATAN (P. Trevor) was extremely fractious and refused to remain in the stalls. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.
Jockey A.M. Tograllu, the rider of LAGUNA BEACH, reported that his saddle shifted back after entering the straight as such he could not offer any assistance to his mount. After due examination of the equipment trainer Mr. L V R Deshmukh was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of WINNING STORY, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing APPY'S PRIDE (A. Ashok Kumar) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of GREAT SECRET, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. B Prithviraj was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of APPY'S PRIDE, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.
YOURESCINTILATING (M. Mark) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

8th Race: 8. The Littleover Plate - Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (13 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for having accepted his charge CHRONICLE to run in the above race when it was under treatment. Subsequently it was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.
Jockey A Ramu, the rider of ROYAL ADMIRAL was fined Rs.2,000/- for
repeatedly checking his mount for no apparent reason soon after jumping out of
the starting gates.
Jockey S Chetan Kalay, the rider of JAVANICA was fined Rs.1,000/- for
shifting in and inconveniencing WELL KNOWN (Imran Chisty) on his inside passing
the 350 Metres.
Jockey M Ravi, the rider of YOURE ROCKING was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing TOWERS OF HANOI (M Rajesh Kumar) on his outside in the final 50 Metres of the race.
