1st Race: 68. The Royal Randwick Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of GOL MATOL, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the inordinate delay in arriving to fulfill his riding engagement in the above race.
COPPER RED (Aqeed Waheed) was examined at the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore and had also sustained cut injuries on left shoulder and left hind cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
MOUNTAIN STORM (Kiran Naidu) after jumping out, did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
FAITH AND TOIL (Sahanawaz) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of DEMAND DRAFT, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of SHAHRAAN, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 200 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of THE SCIENTIST, was reprimanded for
riding an indifferent race.

2nd Race: 69. The Moonlight Romance Trophy -(About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (12 Runners)
Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge CHERRY HINTON (Akshay). Subsequently "All Black" emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of JET SET GO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not
persevering with his mount during the race.
Jockey Akshay, the rider of CHERRY HINTON, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the race.
Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of CARTAGENA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing CHERRY HINTON (Akshay) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.
AS GOOD AS IT GETS (R. Rupesh) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.
CARTAGENA (R. Vaideeshwaran) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.
GREEN PATH (S. Chandrashekar) sustained a cut injury on right hock.
ULTRASONIC (P.S. Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

3rd Race: 70. The J. Lingaiah Memorial Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw SANS FRONTIERES (P. Trevor) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SHIVALIK FIRE placed 2nd by the Judge objected against Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SUSSEX DOWNS placed 1st for "passing the 300 Metres the winner started to drift out taking my ground and in the last 100 Metres he took me out further and bumped me whereby I could not hold my ground and lost a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SUSSEX DOWNS, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the improper use of the whip on his mount whereby he allowed his mount to drift out under the use of whip in the final 300 Metres of the race.
SHIVALIK FIRE (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock

4th Race: 71. The Diablo Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of WIND WONDER, reported that his mount was running green after entering the straight.
Jockey M. Mark, the rider of YOURE CHILUBULI, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

5th Race: 72. The Civil Service Cup - (About) 1400 Metres,
Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners).
Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of QUICK ENOUGH, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing VALAHAK (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his inside approaching the 700 Metres.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of DÉJÀ VU, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of DÉJÀ VU, reported that his mount was hanging `in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Sait was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 73. The Basque Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
SUN GLOW (Suraj Narredu) took a fly jump.
LITTLE LION (Irvan Singh) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 800 Metres.
CASH MY WAY (Vivek) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

7th Race: 74. The Ich Dien Plate - (About) 1400 Metres, Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to withdraw SUPREME REGIME (Deep Shanker) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to bleeding cut injury on right fore pastern. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw REFORMER (K.P.G. Appu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BLUES LEGEND (V.R. Jagadeesh) was extremely fractious, reared up and flipped over at the gates. Under the circumstances it was withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
Jockey G. Adarsh, the rider of ATTRACTIVE BAY, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of ALL PROOF, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 1000 Metres due to a closely packed field.
LOVE IS LIFE (P.S Chouhan) accidentally stumbled passing the 950 Metres.

8th Race: 75. The Diablo Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Jockey A Ramu, the declared rider of DELILAH was certified medically unfit to ride and as no suitable substitute rider was available. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw DELILAH from the above race.
GIFT OF LOVE (Aqeed Waheed) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced RAAGA (Arshad Alam) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey A Ashad Asbar was reprimanded for shifting out and taking out GIFT OF LOVE (Aqeed Waheed) on his outside passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of FRENEMEE was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to the horse on his inside viz. RAAGA (Arshad Alam) and JEYEM (A R Pradeep) which were checked by their riders. As a result BOURBON ROCK (B Sreekanth) travelling directly behind the latter also had to be checked by its rider passing the 750 Metres.
