1st Race: 93. The Bergamo Plate- Div.II - About) 1200 Metres. Bangalore based horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy and Jockey B. Srinivasa Rao were fined Rs.5,000/- each for unsatisfactory running and riding respectively of RUBI REY.
F0RTUNATE ONE (R. Shelar) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch g PRINCE ACADEMY.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MY FAVOURITE VOICE.
2nd Race: 94. The Paddiwick Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (11 Runners).
Jockey K.P.G.Appu, the rider of PEARL REWARD, reported that his mount ran out after jumping out of the starting gates and he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course and passing the 600 Metres it badly shifted out and ran on the outer sand track thereafter. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. Subsequently the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it had pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SPIRITOFCHARTWELL, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c ARYTON.
3rd Race: 95. The New Market Plate - Div.II (about) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00
to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of THEJAGUAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to ENCOURAGER(H.G. Rathod) on his inside passing the 1200 Metres.
Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of ENCOURAGER, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 1000 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of THEJAGUAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to BOUND BY HONOUR (B. Sreekanth) on his inside passing the 900 Metres.
It was reported after the race that DANCE WITH ME (M. Rajesh Kumar) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. .
After due enquiry Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was fined Rs.5,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge HAPPY VICTORY(Suraj Narredu) the winner of the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.27 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2013 when ridden by Jockey Syed Asgar it ran unplaced. He was also fined Rs.5,000/- for tendering misleading evidence during the said enquiry.

4TH race: 96. The Bergamo Plate - Div.I - About) 1200 Metres. Bangalore based Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners).
Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of STYLE OF SIGNATURE, was reprimanded for travelling wide between the 800 Metres and 600 Metres for no apparent reason.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c TRIMPHANT.
5th Race: 97. The Colts Championship Stakes (Grade I) - (About) 1600 Metres, for 3-year-old Indian Colts & Geldings (Foaled in 2010) (Terms) (13 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Narredu to withdraw AUMENTO (Suraj Narredu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock and knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
NABISCO (S. Zervan) was extremely fractious at the gates and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
Jockey Oscar Chavez, the rider of CZAR OF ROMANCE, reported that he could not get a clear run in the early stages of the race due to a closely packed field.
Jockey S. John, the rider of TURF STRIKER, reported that he could not get a clear run in the early stages of the race due to a closely packed field.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ACCLAIMED, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. P. Shroff was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 98. The D. M Shivaswamy Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
LITTLE LION (Irvan Singh) was extremely fractious and refused to re main in the stalls. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SPIRITUAL STAR.
7th Race: 99. The Paddiwick Plate Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge ONE TWO KA FOUR (P.Mani). Subsequently 'All black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.
JOLIE (S. Zervan) was extremely fractious inside the gates, reared up whereby the right fore got stuck in the gates for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
AUTHENTIC STRIDE (B. Sreekanth) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced POWER OF TIME (V.R. Jagadeesh) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
PRIVATE PARTY (B. Srinivas Rao) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
It was reported after the race that BEN HUR (Ch.K. Chary) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Zoheb Sheikh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8th Race: 100. The New Market Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
INDEPENDENCE DAY (Mudassar Nazar) was extremely fractious, reared up and sat down in the gates for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of AFTERNOON DELIGHT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to IMPRESSIVEATTITUDE (Imran Chisty) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.
Jockey B. Srinivas Rao, the rider of PRESIDENTS RULE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of SIMRA, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of PENDOLINO, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club's veterinary officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Hence trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SMOKEHEAD.

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on 22nd June 2013 considered the analytical report received from the Equine Forensic Unit, Dubai, pertaining to the analysis of the urine sample taken from ch g THE GUARDIAN trained by Mr.Neil Darashah which had shown the presence of IBUPROFEN (prohibited substance) - the sample was taken after the said horse placed First in the above race.
The Stewards noted the following:
The trainer/owner were given the option of sending the split sample of the urine for confirmatory analysis. The trainer did not exercise the above option.
Therefore, the Stewards decided to disqualify the horse ch g THE GUARDIAN from the above race and revise the order of placings as under:

37. The Smart Chieftan Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres. Bangalore based maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible).
