It rained heavily during the 5th race.
1st Race: 134. The Buck Passer Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (10 Runners).
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of WIND SURFER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming out and causing interference to CARDIGAN BAY (Suraj Narredu) on his outside passing the 300 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f WIND SURFER.
2nd Race: 135. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Trophy - Div.II-(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw BANK ON ME on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of BOURBON ROCK, reported that his mount got unbalanced while jumping out of the starting gates.
SUPREMACY (D.K. Ashish) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
SPIRITUAL STAR (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on left hind
fetlock.

3rd Race: 136. The Delhi Cup - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of ROYAL ADMIRAL, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after the start due to the crowding of the field.
Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of ARUN, was reprimanded for riding an
indifferent race.
Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of HAPPY VICTORY, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field.
REBUTTAL'S HOPE (P.S. Chouhan) sustained bleeding cut injuries on both sides of tongue (freenum linguae).

4th Race: 137. The S.N. Harish Memorial Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (13 Runners).
As Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the declared rider of BEAUTY IS TRUTH was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V Lokanath to substitute Jockey Deep Shanker to ride BEAUTY IS TRUTH in place of Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the declared rider.
ARABIAN WARRIOR (P. Trevor) was extremely fractious inside the gates, reared up and got stuck in the gates. On immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to have a cut injury on left fore cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders. Trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi (deputizing on behalf of Trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of ANCIENT WARRIOR, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 900 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dk b f BEAUTY IS TRUTH.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g RACING AHEAD.
5th Race: 138. The Nawab M. Arshad Ali Khan Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2010) (Terms) (11 Runners).
Trainer Mr. R R Byramji, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the late submission of the scratching form in respect of his charge TRIUMPH in the above race.
LAGOONA (Vivek) was extremely fractious, refused to remain inside the gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.
An objection was lodged by Jockey A Sandesh, the rider of MY LAKSHMI placed fourth by the judge against Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of KEUKENHOF placed second for "In the last 100 Metres KEUKENHOF shifted in sharply whereby I had to stop riding which cost me the 2nd place". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Permission was granted to Trainers M/s. S. Narredu and S.S. Attaollahi to deputise on behalf of Trainers M/s. M. Narredu and J.S. Dhariwal respectively who were unable to attend the races.
