1st Race: 118. The Tippu Sultan Cup - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (10 Runners).
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of ANCIENT TITLE, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 900 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f LOVEOFMYLIFE.
2nd Race: 119. The Churchill Downs Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses
rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (10 runners)
Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge SIMRA in the above race (1st infringement).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw LEPTON PENNATUS (Aqeed Waheed) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
AUTUMN RED (V.R. Jagadeesh) stumbled while jumping out of the starting gates.

MADAME BOVARY (Imran Chisty) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced POWER OF TIME (M. Noornabi) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for having
accepted his charge SUMMER DAWN to run in the above race without a valid
Starting Stall Certificate. Subsequently it was permitted to be withdrawn from
the above race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g DEEP DIVER.
4th Race: 121. The Noble Princess Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (13 Runners).
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of ROYAL REIN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in very sharply before passing the red marker post.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of EXTRA SPARK, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and bumping VIVA DIVA (Arshad Alam) on his outside approaching the 700 Metres.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of MAGICAL FILLY, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race and it ran detached thereafter. Hence Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of ROYAL REIN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for hitting his mount with his hands.
EXTRA SPARK (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained gum injury.

5th Race: 122. The H.B. Gundappa Gowda Memorial Cup -(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (11 Runners)
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SECRET PUNCH placed 3rd by the Judge, objected against Jockey S. John, the rider of SHIVALIK STAR placed 2nd for "in the last 200 Metres the rider of SHIVALIK STAR who kept on coming in using his whip from the left when my horse was full of running whereby I had to stop riding and pull it out which cost me a certain 2nd place". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to overrule the objection.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of BRABUS SPEED, reported that he lost his left stirrup iron soon after jumping out of the starting gates which he regained approaching the 800 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of SHIVALIK STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for suddenly changing course towards the rails approaching the 200 Metres.
ARISTOS (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained cut injuries on right hock and right hind pastern.
QUICK ENOUGH (B. Sreekanth) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.

6th Race: 123. The Kumararajah M.A.M. Muthiah Cup-Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey Aqeed Waheed, the rider of ULTIMATE FANTASY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NERON (Ch.K.Chary) on his inside passing the 1100 Metres and further shifting in and tightening LADS GLADIATOR (P. Trevor) on its inside approaching the 900 Metres.
It was observed that SWIFT STAR (Saddam Hussain) pulled up lame approaching the 600 Metres. After the race the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was lame on right fore due to sprained joint. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Aqeed Waheed, the rider of ULTIMATE FANTASY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to VIOLENT STORM (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside rounding the final bend.
Jockey S. John, the rider of FLYING TRICOLOUR was fined Rs.1,000/- for suddenly changing course approaching the 200 Metres.
It was reported after the last race that FINAL COUNTDOWN (Indrajeet Singh) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade II at 6:15 p.m). Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

7th Race: 124. The Manjri Stud Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 to 85 (8 Runners).
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the declared rider of ARRABIAN GOLD, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not arriving to fulfill his riding engagement for the day's races. Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to substitute Jockey Vivek to ride ARRABIAN GOLD in place of Jockey J.H. Christopher, the declared rider.
SUSSEX DOWNS (Imran Chisty) took a fly jump.
SALTOFTHEEARTH (P. Trevor) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of APOLLO KING, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
ONE TIME MAGIC (R. Shelar) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

8th Race: 125. The Kumararajah M.A.M. Muthiah Cup-Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over (11 Runners).
JALDI (V.R.Jagadeesh) was extremely fractious, reared up and sat back in the gates for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.
Jockey Kiran Naidu, the rider of MOUNTAIN BEAUTY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position from 1000 Metres till about rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
It was reported after the last race that AFFIRMATIVE (A. Imran Khan) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade III at 6:20 p.m). Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
